Clean tools after each use to remove soil and debris. Always dry tools before storing to prevent rust and rot. For wood handles, apply linseed oil to prevent cracking, and if dirty, wipe gently with a damp cloth—do not soak. Ensure tools used for chemicals are thoroughly cleaned, as residues can corrode metal.
