I began subscribing to Marquee during the covid lockdown, while I was really missing going out to the theatre, and it was such a source of joy for me during that time! I can and do go to the theatre again but I still love Marquee. There's a terrific amount of variety for shows, drama, ballet, opera, concerts. A few other friends with subscriptions and I spread out over the country now have a regularly weekend watch and it's a highlight of my week. Can't recommend highly enough.

A good app that works well and has plenty of content. personally id like to see more none Shakespeare theatre , he isn't the only one who writes plays guys.

I'm really glad I found this service because the content is just wonderful and I'm really enjoying it.

The apps, however, could be improved. I'm using the apps for Android and the Fire TV Stick and both sometimes have slow reaction and long loading times and the streams freeze every now and then. I also have to log in again every time I open the Fire TV app and it would be more convenient if it just remembered my login details.

Good selection of films covering many cultural genres. Fairly reasonable value for money.

I enjoy the content, however I have issues with the website itself. If I pause it it tends to lag within the audio & video. And it will knock me out of the website mid viewing whereby I have to log in to return.

Yesterday, using Chromecast, I tried to bring up In Search of Haydn but I could get no video, just sound. This doesn't happen to other documentaries such as In Search of Mozart.
Overall, Marquee has some great offerings which I enjoy or I wouldn't subscribe.

I often get together with a couple of friends and we watch a lot of the art programmes and have made a start on the fantastic range of Shakespeare productions. I have also dipped into the opera - a wonderful range of things to watch - a favourite streaming service!

We’ve only watched 2 ballet performances so far but we’re happy with the programming and looking forward to watching more. It’s nice to have some arts performances to watch. Thank you

The choice of material is excellently diverse and in clusive. We are ballet lovers but also finding that we can sample the opera as well.

High quality, up-scale music, dance, theater with high quality offerings. Much to my surprise, would never have guessed it, but the dance shows have been my favorite. Just outstanding.

I would love to give a perfect score, except I didnt get the 3 month promotion when I first signed up.

I subscribed to Marquee 23 November and I am still having problems watching. I have contacted customer services numerous times and they seem unable to do anything except send me the same messages over and over again.

The quality of the videos is excellent and it is easy to log into my account and navigate around the website, which also appears very reliable. On the downside there is very little new material coming through in the Classical Music genre.

Excellent content but frequent issues with having to sign-in yet again when I open the app on my TV.

Quite a wide range of modern and classical dance with some very interesting companies. Lots and lots of Shakespeare which suits me but may not be to everyone’s taste. Art looks good with less classical music but hopefully that will increase. Not short of interesting programmes to watch

There are a lot of good performances here especially in Dance, Ballet and Opera. The Theatre section is limited, mostly RSC. Music is also better elsewhere but that was not a problem for us. If the Theatre offer was better we would give the site 5 stars as it is 4 stars seem right for the fabulous Ballets and Dance pieces alone.

I had a subscription in the past but I stopped because I had too many other things to watch. I've cancelled the big US streaming platforms and thought I would give Marquee another go. The content is mainly classical music, jazz, ballet, contemporary dance, interesting documentaries about artists and their influences, a few non-Shakespeare theatre productions but for theatre it is mainly Shakespeare. That's not a criticism, I don't hate it. I realise it's not always possible to get the rights to stream a theatre show but I hope in time there will be more available. I'm enjoying the content. I've used the app on my phone, my Chromebook and on my TV. I haven't had any problems so far. I am glad the app works on my Chromebook because I often use it for streaming.

So far I've watched Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Importance of Being Ernest. It's my first time delving into Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde and I love it. I also enjoyed some Beethoven and Katie Melua and look forward to watching some of the documentaries too. A wide range of choice! I'd highly recommend Marquee TV and intend to continue my subscription past the very affordable trial offer.

Oddly it's the freedom to not feel compelled to constantly watch, which is one of the most appealing aspect of your service. Tickets to see these shows live from the king's seat and much better means your fee is the best deal on the planet! (Please don't increase them) Nobody has heard of you - I shout your praises constantly- I watch everything you offer and love most of it. Suggest: fabulous, classic TV drama - i.e. - Denis Potter (Singing Detective, Lipstick on your Collar)etc; Early American TV Theater playhouse(Alcoa aluminum)(also Alistaire Cook's Omnibus); Art Exhibits and happenings around the world; Special theatrical presentations - i.e. - Puppetry festivals, selected fringe theater shows, pantos(!?)etc. Thanks a million.
