The psychiatrist was flexible and able to understand me. It was helpful that we could find additional times to continue the evaluation, and I really appreciated the urgency of the process.
This process was costly, but nothing beats the short length and attention. I see it as paying for timely services.
I felt vulnerable sharing my trauma history, but the provider was soothing when discussing these topics. However, it seemed that certain symptoms were attributed to this. Considering all perspectives, this is not uncommon in the mental health field, as I work in it. In comparison to my extensive family history of ADHD, it’s important to be aware of all aspects. Overall, I believe the provider made informed decisions throughout the process and helped me learn about myself. I was also able to get the additional help I needed by presenting the report to my mental health provider and general practitioner.

I have been very iffy on if I would put 4 or 5 stars. Let me explain why 5 stars, I am so thankful I looked into Marker Learning. I had my son tested with a local Doctor for ADHD and they tested him as having ADHD (we already knew that), however, they had said he was angry and defiant... my son is the opposite of that! the 45 minute the other doctor spent with him he was telling him about his games and playing with toys. When I asked them why they would say that, they "couldn't remember stating that".... so that is what led me to searching around. Marker Learning set up a meeting and it did not take long at all. We met with Dr. Yedlin and she set up a time to do his testing. She was so good with him!!!! He would get restless because the test are not quick, but she did not get after him. We also wanted to check him for dyslexia, Dr. Yedlin diagnosed him with Dyslexia and confirmed the ADHD diagnosis. When we had the meeting she walked me through everything that was in the report so we could understand it all.
Why I put 4 stars... After the testing was done, they said it would be 3 to 4 weeks to hear back from them. I hadn't heard anything from them and when I called they said they would call me back in an hour and I didn't hear back from them. So I looked around and found this page for reviews. I was very nervous when I saw the posts about being a scam, I called them and told them I have read that it was a scam and needed answers. They were very apologetic, within a few days I had the report sent to me and the appointment to review it set up. I was able to print it out and take it to his school and family doctor that day.
If it hadn't taken so long with no clear responses, it would have easily been 5 stars. We are so happy to finally have everything done, and my little man doesn't have to go through anymore testing.

I am so grateful for Marker Learning. My daughter was struggling to read in second grade and as much as I fought it I couldn't get her school to evaluate her. Marker was much cheaper than all the other options I found and it was so easy on Zoom. The psychologist who evaluated her was so warm and patient. We were able to get the report accepted by her school!! A huge relief I can't thank them enough.

Meeting with my psychologist was the best part of my experience. She was very nice, helpful, and encouraging. The only problem that I had was because a storm was interfering with my internet connection. Everything Marker did was exceptional and I will recommend using them for an evaluation.

Definitely a scam. Don’t waste you time. I had a phone appointment scheduled with them and was told I would receive a call at the scheduled time and even a remind text message an hour before the appointment time. After about 15 past the time I was supposed to receive the call, I decided to call them myself. I was placed on hold for a bit before it Hung up on its own. I called again and the same thing happened. I texted the number back of the agent “Kelsey” multiple times and got no response. I called the corporate numbers on their site and also got the same hold before hanging up. I then received a text 3 hours AFTER all of that took place saying they weren’t able to get an answer and they’ve tried calling several times. I responded immediately after and still got no response. I received a call from that number and heard what sounded like a family chatting and kids running around and what not. Totally unprofessional and definitely giving scam!!!!

A scam. They don’t tell you before hand the full scope of testing cannot be done because of this not being done in person. Wait to do this with a real doctor in person like neuro developmental that includes a whole range of doctors. Also be ready to not have all the testing that was done explained to you and then be told you can not look at the tests yourself because you may misinterpret it….misinterpret or not, it’s my child and I want to know all I can about what was tested. Typical god-complex for a ‘doctor.’
