Impressive, eclectic source of antique maps and charts
An excellent source of old maps and charts. An impressive inventory of a wide range of geographical locations. Bob, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable. The antique house, which serves as the shop, is fascinating in its self. Bob and I successfully worked remotely prior to meeting in person. I highly recommend this source.

Our reproduction prints are made using a high-quality giclee printer on good quality matte paper. Is it possible that you thought it was an antique map? We do our best to make it clear if a map is a reproduction in the title and description of the listing. It looks like we only have one authentic antique map of Charleston at this time (SOU025 for $225). Please contact us directly if you would like to return the reproduction that you purchased. It should be in the same condition as it was when shipped. Again, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your purchase.

Wonderful collection!
Maps of Antiquity has a wonderful assortment of nautical charts and maps. This shop has every type of antique map/ chart we could ever hope for. Our home has a nautical theme, and we purchased a beautiful late 19th-century property map of Newport, RI. We are delighted with our purchase and look forward to it being framed. The owner, Bob, was extremely helpful on finding appropriate pieces based on our request.
