I downloaded Manus AI on February 7, used it for about 10 minutes, and deleted it the same day.

On February 16, I was charged about $385 USD for an annual subscription I did not intend to purchase.

There was no clear reminder that the trial would automatically convert into a paid yearly plan.

Customer support initially only sent automated responses and did not resolve the issue.

After multiple follow-ups, I was eventually refunded.

Based on my experience, I recommend being very careful before entering payment details.

I wouldn't give this one star there's no way to contact support to get a refund. This is a scam to me. I wouldn't recommend this trash to nobody.

Manus AI – $2,380 in credits deleted without warning
I have been a long-term Manus customer spending up to $5,000 per month. In January 2026, I was forced to temporarily downgrade my plan due to unforeseen circumstances. When I returned to work in March, all of my credits — 476,000 credits worth $2,380 — had been completely deleted without any prior warning, notification, or explanation.
At no point during the purchase or downgrade process was it made clear that unused credits would be permanently deleted at the end of the billing cycle.
When I contacted support, I was simply told that monthly credits reset automatically. No refund, no restoration, no accountability.
This is not an isolated case. Multiple users on Reddit have reported identical experiences with thousands of dollars lost.
For a platform charging premium prices, the complete lack of transparency, the unresponsive support, and the silent deletion of paid credits is unacceptable. This is not how a legitimate business treats its customers.
Avoid Manus if you value your money.

Adesso io mi chiedo com'è possibile che io ancora devo provare la settimana che subito attivo l' abbonamento annuale ? Senza neanche aver provato?Non è possibile cancellare abbonamento, c'è una opzione soltanto a passare ad un abbonamento mensile.Ho già avvisato la mia banca che provvedera ' ad aprire una contestazione per questo . Voglio il rimborso. Fate attenzione a questa piattaforma che ruba i soldi senza che nemmeno te ne accorgi.

Una tomadura de pelo. Cuando funciona bien es fantástica, pero el problema es que pocas veces funciona bien y, si falla, aunque sea por un error técnico no te devuelven los créditos al tener que repetirlo, aunque sea en numerosas ocasiones.
Y la facturación es terrible, ni ellos saben los que te facturan!! Tampoco explicarte el porque de los errores en factura
Y lo peor el servicio técnico en Europa! Puedes estar pagando la suscripción más premium que no te dan sercicio en menos de 24h en el mejor de los casos

I signed up 39 people to Manus and was optimistic about using the 1.6 Max project, but my experience has been extremely disappointing.

Despite paying $64.91 CAD initially and an additional $235.33 CAD upgrade, the project delivered is unstable, incomplete, and not production-ready. The Manus agent itself admitted a 40–50% failure rate on recent requests (~25–35% overall) and documented critical issues: broken schema changes, cascading file failures, checkpoints saved in failed states, misdiagnosed webhook behavior, and repeated “success” confirmations without proper end-to-end testing.

Even after upgrading and using nearly a second batch of credits, the project has not meaningfully improved. What I received is effectively a shell of a project plus additional technical debt that now needs to be fixed or rebuilt.

Given the documented fail rate, lack of a reliable outcome, and the time invested attempting to salvage this work, a full refund for both charges seems reasonable. I hope Manus takes this feedback seriously and reaches out promptly to resolve this matter.

As far as it's web site building mechanics, it can do the basics but you're better off using something like lovable or something else because this thing is truly rage inducing. You'll start designing a site and have a good streak going on and then the AI will randomly change something you didn't ask, randomly and completely redesign your page and erase your changes, or restore back to a version trying to fix something else it broke and break more things. Designing with this AI is three steps forward and two steps back in the truest sense of the word. The support is extremely slow to respond since Meta took it over and the GUI block editor is extremely glitchy in ways that are hard to explain.

At first, the product looked impressive. I spent an entire day and burned through roughly 13,000 tokens — about $50 — and got absolutely nowhere. I reached out to support, waited a day… then another… then another. It took four, maybe five days before anyone responded.

When they finally did reply, they asked me to dig through my files and prove what I was saying. After wasting a full day of my time and money, they expected me to waste even more just to validate issues their own system created. Isn’t that literally their job — and don’t they have AI for that?

Since then, silence. No follow-up, no resolution, nothing. At this point it feels like they’re taking the Facebook approach: ignore the user and hope they go away.

I wish I could leave no stars. The AI is absolute rubbish, that's the only words that come to mind. I wanted Manus AI to compile a couple of spreadsheets and create a workbook that automates. The software failed repeatedly. AI is great for basic tasks, and if you need it for financial figures, don't go near it. It hallucinates, gets confused and tells you it is getting it totally wrong. Stay clear; there's a lot of hype lately around agentic AI assistants, and most are still in the very early stages. I have broken many AI assistants recently with slightly complex spreadsheets. Manus is costly; you burn through tokens to watch the AI fail and start all over again with your money. The support is a waste of time!

Creo que hacen publicidad engañosa. Prometen comportarse como agente, te van descontando crêditos y al final no resuelven nada. No hay con quien hablar. A cada duda te derivan a sus papers pre-escritos en inglês.
No lo aconsejo para nada.

MANUS es la peor IA que he utilizado, se consiguen mejores IA gratuita. Cuando está en la versión free, aparenta ser una herramienta útil. Cuando se paga la versión pro, empieza a demostrar lo que es: UNA ESTAFA, se queda en ciclos (loops), pregunta una y otra vez lo mismo, no ofrece respuestas útiles, demuestra que lo único que le interesa o para lo que fue hecha fue para consumir tokens, porque eso sí, en un momento consume tokens como si no hubiera mañana. ES UNA COMPLETA ESTAFA. Dejé de utilizarla, por MALA, me quedaron más de 20K tokens/créditos disponibles, y me cobraron una mensualidad adicional, intenté comunicarme con alguien para manifestar mi inconformidad y adivinen quien me atiende, nuevamente MANUS. NO HAY FORMA DE TRATAR CON UNA PERSONA, PONEN A ESTA IA DE QUINTA A QUE ATIENDA Y COMO SIEMPRE JAMÁS OFRECE UNA SOLUCIÓN, SIMPLEMENTE LE IMPORTA ROBAR DINERO DE CUALQUIER FORMA.

I subscribed to a Manus plan priced at USD 78. On the second month renewal, without any authorization or plan upgrade, I was charged USD 390.

Since November 2025, I have tried multiple times to resolve this issue directly with Manus. I was repeatedly asked to send invoices, receipts, and credit card statements, which I provided, but the process goes in circles and no solution is offered.

To demonstrate good faith, I did not use any of the credits associated with the USD 390 charge. I do not recognize this charge as valid and never benefited from it.

This is a clear case of incorrect and unauthorized billing. I am still waiting for a full refund of the USD 390 that was charged incorrectly.

Be cautious if you subscribe, as billing issues are not handled transparently.
