I recently attended the Shingo Alumni Course delivered by The Manufacturing Institute and found it to be a very worthwhile experience.

The course was delivered in a professional but engaging way, with plenty of workshop activities that encouraged participation rather than just listening to presentations. The sessions challenged us to think differently and apply the concepts in practice, which helped bring the learning to life.

I particularly liked the way the Shingo principles were explained through real examples and case studies. Hearing directly from organisations that have been on their own improvement journeys was especially valuable. The opportunity to speak with people about their achievements, challenges, and lessons learned gave a much deeper understanding of what it takes to sustain cultural and operational excellence over time.

Overall, it was an excellent course. I came away with a better understanding of the Shingo Model, plenty of practical ideas, and a number of insights that I can apply in my own organisation. I would highly recommend it to anyone involved in operational excellence and continuous improvement.

I really like the network that the workshop provided, apart from the knowledge itself, I gained a lot of "A-ha" moments from the group sharing.

Excellent instructor and good fun.

The course was well planned, executed and very informative. I enjoyed the participation with the other members of the course as it helped to ensure we all learned from one another.
There were also plenty of "real world" examples shared to reinforce the practical application of the Lean Tools.

David creates positive atmosphere, it's engaged trainee for comment and hearing.

The training topics were compehensive, Talking about the basic concepts of lean manufacture, lean tools [MFIC,A3 report, etc], lean thinking and leadership made the trainee got full experiences during team discussion. The expertise of Mr David as a trainer brought all discussion into well understood thinking.

Great experience to join Lean Manufacturing Bootcamp, not only get the knowledge about Lean Tools, but also set the lean mindset.

Everything we talk about are waste reduction, leadership, mindset and improvement culture, company purposes & goals, and also involvement of all stakeholders.
Through this bootcamp, my knowledge about lean manufacturing was refreshed. This will help me to think more systematically in carrying out improvements at the factory according to the lean manufacturing concept.

I found my online yellow belt training was carried out very well. The instructor was very knowledgeable and got the information across well.

Overall I really enjoyed the course. However I felt that there was too much crammed into two days and as a result part of it felt rushed. As a newcomer to six sigma I would have preferred to have gone a little more slowly and in depth, especially in terms of applying the theory to relevant practical scenarios. There was also an issue with the slides used not matching up with those provided as notes but, to be fair, that should only be a minor issue.

I attended the Six Sigma Yellow Belt training course. The trainer was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and could explain the topics in a number of different ways. The course content was tailored to some extent around our questioning which showed the knowledge of the trainer.
