The Shure SM57 is an industry standard these days for so many uses on stage. I'm using mine with an Xtreme Microphone Extra Short Boom Stand on stage with a cajon. It works perfectly.
Classic for a reason.
I use this mic to record and mic up instruments. It is reliable and delivers true quality sound for me. A classic.
This an excellent instrument live recording device with great reproduction of true tone of the instrumen
Shure SM57 has always been a good mic
You know what to expect from this and it wont disappoint.
Very happy with my new Shure SM57. But before I bought it I called the Manny's helpline for information about mounting this mike on my old Ashton mike stand. Stand has a ~6mm male thread mounting point, so I needed help to see what I needed to attach the new mike. Not much help received though. So then I also purchased the Shure_AD25D mic clip (an extra AUD19.00) and thought I would then need to find an adapter bush to fit this to my stand, as the web photo only shows quite a large diameter brass female thread mount. Package was delivered promptly (good!). I opened the AD25D package first (unfortunately) to find that it includes a brass adapter bush to fit the mike clip to my stand [see first image attached - but no info about this adapter bush is given on the website]. Then I opened the microphone package. Turns out this includes a bunch of stuff not noted on Manny's website either: SM57 Mike, AD25D mounting clip (with adapter bush), soft carry bag, velcro cable tie, op manual and spec sheet + a SHURE sticker (not sure where I'll stick that!) [photo of pack contents attached]. Manny Website Team: Please show more details of package contents as this would be very helpful for your customers [like attached images?]. Thanks Brian K.
Good service from your team as always.
Reliable, robust and excellent quality.
This is the gold standard of instrument microphones -- no need to throw additional praise at it, because you already know. Manny's got me one of these for the best price around, and shipped it straight out the door in no time. Great service!

Excellent product. Great and speedy service. I'm a happy camper.
Just the right microphone to capture the clarity sound from the gamelan set. Highly recommended! Bulk proce is preferable, though.
