Mandy is a good site for crew work. I would leave it at 'good' but not go much further. I find it very easy to use, but incredibly difficult to find options that aren't free work. You also cannot apply to paid jobs unless you subscribe to the premium account, whereas other sites you can.

I have previously written a review about this company and how since April both the site, customer experience and customer service has all been dreadful. Well yesterday was a new low. On May 5th I emailed and told them to cancel my subscription on July 24th. I never received a reply from them but I noticed on my account that they had put ‘no further payments would be taken.’ I stupidly trusted that and never asked my credit card company to block any payment from them. We’ll yesterday they took £156.00 out of my account!! I now have to either wait for them to respond to my stream of emails (with full evidence) and refund me in full, or start a chargeback in 15 days. This company has become an absolute disgrace to the acting profession. I don’t get the multitude of sycophantic reviews on here because Mandy has become the kind of company you’d see on Watchdog.

They always have the best quality jobs listed. As a video editor using primarily Premiere, It's great to have a variety of gigs to constantly choose from.

I tend to book jobs from Mandy, which is great. I do think that they need to be more on it with the site working correctly, it wasn't working properly for a month and they charged people the same amount when you couldn't actually apply for jobs. Customer service wouldn't do anything about it. Same with scams, they do need to review more what is posted, I reported a couple of jobs and they barely got back to me about it. It is expensive for what it is, but if you manage to book some jobs, it's worth it.

Love Mandy so much!! Such a great site with so many opportunities! You can narrow it down to fit your type or specifications and it's super easy to use, I'd say much better than any of the comparable sites. Glad it exists!

Mandy is amazing is has so many different opportunities I get emailed them daily unfortunately you can’t apply unless you’re a premium member but I think I’m going to pretty soon!

A good site for finding creative connections in the film industry, however premium is pretty expensive - it makes it quite hard as someone just starting out to get into the industry but I'm sure it's well worth it as a more established practitioner.

Articles are very well laid out and the website is very easy to navigate.
The actual fee is what puts me off as it's so expensive if there was a pay monthly option this would be easier and more likely to make people sign up

I personally think mandy is wonderful. While there are more premium features there are still many for free users. I really think mandy will be the website that will boost my experience of being a young actor.

What a god damn joke this site has turned out to be. When I used it back in the day when I started acting, I got quite a few decent jobs, some even paid. Went on there today to try and get back into the saddle, and for some stupid reason it won't let me change my age range. I mean, what!? So on my profile my age range is 2 - 2? I'm an adult for crying out loud. This is a serious problem on your site Mandy. I hope you're reading this. How can I apply to casting calls when my playing range is 2? Sort this site out you cretins.

My daughter is a child actor and we have used Mandy.com for her as she is keen to work and gain experience on screen. It has been a really useful tool for finding work locally and further afield, helping her gain experience by auditioning for roles and by getting roles, being able to go for jobs ranging from student unpaid projects to very large professional projects. It has helped with making new connections and networking and helped her gain experience, confidence and credits. It is a bit pricey for use for a child I think, but is a good site for finding opportunities and networking when starting out in this field.

Mandy is great when starting out as an actor and looking for start up work or to connect with other creatives. Would recommend!

i subscribed after my Editing course back than and things sort of dissolved.
Somehow, around a month ago that wing of options returned into my orbit and I cant say too much yet, but thats probably because ~I myself am still in the making~

However, by now I have gained my feeling about it and after seeing the variety of adverts from employers, I would say that, If you happen to be from small to medium range production and expanding your portfolio, that site is for you.
Seems realistic and since you are self- employed, you take it or leave it. Descriptions are clear and projects tend to be one offs with arrangements visible right away.

I would say try as the more people join, the more employers alike will join and positive expansion is a key for all parties involved.

I joined Casting Call Pro as it was then in 2006 after graduating from drama school. Back then it was a great resource, particularly for people who were new to the industry and/or unrepresented. Through the years it offered some decent jobs but that started to wane 5 or so years ago, and since April this year it has been unuseable - few decent jobs, scrambled job pages, no job notifications, the loss of the ability to star jobs for later (and those that were starred prior to the 'updates' lost for eternity); and worst of all, NO engagement from Mandy about these issues other than an automated email!!! THEY DO NOT CARE!!! I paid for a year's subscription in January of this year, so I have had 3 months of useable service. I will be aiming to get some money back for the loss of service in the past 3 months and I have cancelled my contract with no intention of renewing next year. I am sad that what was once a great site has been ruined and would urge everyone to save their hard earned money and not sign up to this s**t show!

I enjoy using Mandy and have had work from using the site, however considering you need to pay for membership for most applications I find other sites are more likely to help music composers find work.
Other than the payment I find it easy to use.

I think Mandy is a great working website. And I hope one day I become successful I did become a background character in a Netflix movie before and it was great

Mandy is a great platform for actors - giving a range of opportunities that are paid and unpaid. Also includes a fantastic networking forum that lets you interact with other creatives. Mandy has allowed to me to grow as an actor by providing affordable platform that has allowed me obtain jobs!

Mandy is a fantastic platform, and in my opinion, the best for finding work within the arts. Jobs are posted daily, and are so easy to apply to. I found to profile format very easy to control.

I joined Mandy to get voiceover acting work. The questions asked are all very thorough & pertinent, & the upload settings seem more straightforward than some other sites. Time will tell if the set up for applications to work is a 1 or a 5.

I've not been with Mandy for a few months now & I don't miss it.
The layout & functionality of the site was good, but in the time I was on there various excellent features were withdrawn "to make space" for other stuff- which didn't transpire before I left.
I also didn't get a single job on there, & since looking for work on other sites I've had a very steady stream.
The forums on the site are a very busy with dissatisfied voice talent too.
It seems Mandy ain't so Dandy.

Mandy is a great service which has allowed me to get a feel for the film industry job market after graduating from Uni. Mandy showed me that good quality paid film work does exist and that I have the skills to get it.
