My late mother’s will was lost and an older version retained on file. This caused issues with the probate office and delayed the subsequent grant. The initial attempt to remedy this was also substandard as the letter to the probate office only contained the odd pages of the copied Will and had to be redone causing further issues.
A formal complaint was raised and the letter in response contained similar attention to detail issues which typifies their quality of services.
The words not fit for purpose spring to mind when people mention their name. Take time to consider whether there are better options out there - you will find that there are

Honestly, really disappointed with the service. We’re still trying to finalize our mortgage sale, and because of their delays, we’re literally facing homelessness. There’s been zero sense of urgency from them when we needed it most, which is completely unacceptable. I definitely wouldn't recommend them, and once this purchase is actually finalized, I’ll be filing a formal complaint.

With high recommendation from a family friend as well as one of the solicitor firms recommended by the estate agent, I used Manak Solicitors to sell my late parents’ house in Gravesend. Simran dealt with the sale and was very prompt with her replies to any queries and advise. Unprofessional and very limited knowledge with divorce law. We changed solicitors after being treated disrespectfully and found out Manak had been uneducated to the point of costing us thousands of pounds in unnecessary fees. It was felt that our solicitor was working agaisnt us and for the other side. Stay away.

They are very good at what they do but very slow to respond phone calls were not always responded to and had to call back .emails were responded to at first but later ones weren't answered . When I asked if they got my message they just said yes but didn't call back ,some of the questions they asked I had already told them .I know they had problems with our buyer solicitors which didn't help but nearly 5 months for conveyancing with no chains was a bit slow
