The product itself has been good and met most of my expectations. I appreciated the quality and design, but there were a few areas of the customer service experience that could be improved.

We arranged a home visit before ordering our corner sofa and it made the process so much easier. The team helped us compare options without any pressure. The Otter 2x2 corner sofa fits perfectly in our room and has quickly become the family's favourite place to relax.

I wish I had checked these reviews before ordering my loveseat back in March. They tried to charge me the second payment twice, then said my order was ready about 2-3 months ago. And since I have never heard from them again. I’m not convinced this company is entirely operational. Please avoid. The sofas are a lot of money and you don’t want to run the risk of losing that money should they decide not to deliver the actual sofa.

Taking a chance on the Song armchair turned out to be a great decision. It's wonderfully comfortable, offers excellent support, and looks fantastic in our snug. The quality of the cushions and fabric is excellent.

The furniture looks good and feels well made, and I was generally pleased with the quality. There were a few aspects of the overall experience that could have been handled better, so I'm giving three stars.

Our sofa took a little longer than originally estimated, but the wait was absolutely worthwhile. The Otter large sofa is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully finished. The delivery team were professional and took great care during installation.

This company lie and cheat continuously. They took our money a year ago and have made no effort to provide the covers that they promised in return. They have promised a refund multiple times but failed to process it. The CEO Christian Warren will tell any lie that is convenient to avoid making good on his promises.

I ordered a sofa on the 8th of May and got a delivery date of the 26th June and then just never heard anything. I wasn’t given rushing to finish my floor it was such a stress and now I’m scared I will get no sofa and no money back. They reply once in a blue moon saying they will get me an update and then I never heard anything from them again. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for your sofa! The reviews here are so scary I really hope this doesn’t turn out to be me I see people having awaited a year. So scary cause they are so expensive! I thought I was paying for a premium service!

My wife ordered a sofa from Maker&Son over 9 months ago and has been fighting ever since to get the sofa we paid for. Emails go un-answered, phone lines have been off for over 6 months, social media comments have been disabled since late 2025. It’s downright fraudulent behaviour they have been doing and they should be ashamed of themselves.

All the 4-5 star reviews are completely fake as they are all the same length, the same style and content and name a product specifically for search purposes and Trustpilot need to sort these guys out as they are spamming with fake reviews to hide the real truth!

Do NOT under any circumstances give this company your money as there are so many people who have never received products in over 9 months and so many fighting through the courts to get their money back!

Still fighting to get our money back - over a year now. American Express are now dealing with it as a section 75 please please do not trust these reviews I hope Trustpilot will investigate them all

Beware of the fake reviews.
My experience with this company has been awful, once they take your money you will never hear from them again and no order will ever be delivered.
Just Google the company name and previous company directors.

All the 5 star reviews are very similar - mentioning the craftsmanship and products by name and all of them have never left previous reviews. Trust pilot needs to investigate and remove them.

I was slightly cautious before ordering because of things I'd read previously, but my experience was extremely positive. The communication was excellent throughout, and the Marnie three-seater arrived exactly when expected. It's beautifully made, comfortable, and feels worth every penny.

I had enormous difficulty getting money back for an undelivered chair but I did in the end after putting it in the hands of my lawyer. However my main concern is that someone is posting lots of 5 star reviews. (They are now adding 4 star reviews) They are all from people who have never written a review before. These are obviously dishonest and Trustpilot needs to investigate. Why is this still happening?

Recently there has been an influx of positive reviews which is ironic seeing as my family have been waiting over 6 months to even hear back about our couch since we purchased/chased and were ghosted for the couch we paid for. These new reviews are interestingly very similar and contradictory to the many other negative experiences other reviewers and my own family have dealt with when purchasing from here. Across all the other lower rated reviews there is consistency in how this business operates. This company should be avoided at all costs unless you want to lose your money.
