So glad we came across this program. This program has been so helpful in getting our business started. We have always looked for a way to pay off debt and found a way to eventually do that while doing something we actually enjoy! I couldn’t recommend our coach more! I’ve been working with these guys at MLP for a few months now & the experience has been horrendous. Apart from the first two guys I spoke with, I have nothing else positive to say about this company. To save you time & money my review will be to the point. Unless you have $10-$12-$15000 to “invest”, don’t bother. The $2000 price is just to get you comfortable with them by giving you “coaching” that you can find on the internet & YouTube for free. Prime example of why companies like this one get called a scam.

Jay Gonzalez at Major League Profits has been incredibly valuable to my sports card investment business. His background as a former pro baseball player gives him a unique perspective on prospect development and timing the market for 1st Bowman cards. AVOID AVOID AVOID. This company sucked every dime they could out of me basically sales pitching me into giving them THOUSANDS of dollars for absolutely NOTHING in return. If that isnt a scam I dont know what is. Do not let them do this to you. They want one thing and one thing only. Your hard earned money, other than that they couldnt care less about you as a person. Also would like to add I had a major family and medical emergency happen literally 48 hours after sending them $9800 and they said Ope too Bad deal with it. Even though I cannot be in their program now or use a single ounce of what I sent, nearly 10k for. I am not sure how this is actually legal, if nothing else they are immoral to the bone. Do not get yourself caught up in this for the love of God!

Great coaching staff they are attentive and very knowledgeable. I just Startrd working with Jay, but he given tools and knowledge that I already implemented.

I joined the program in hope to learn how to find cards that would grade well as advertised in the promos. Target cards that are highly liquid and can potentially double your money if they grade a 10. If they don’t, oh well, just resell the card and cut your minimal losses.

THIS IS GAMBLING. They have no control over the grade and how soon you’ll receive it.
I started the program, like everyone, in the hopes to earn more money while enjoying the hobby of sports cards. They ask you to watch a bunch of web videos Eric strings together. They start out as self help guides (here’s a 10 minute video on how to have a winner mentality). Most of the customers are in their 40’s and own a business, or have life success elsewhere. These videos were a waste of time in my opinion.
Eventually you get to the content on how to search and pre-grade your own cards. A lot of it is rinse and repeat type of stuff. “Check this type of card here for centering”, “avoid this type of seller”. All these tips you can find on a free YouTube videos somewhere.
They assign you a coach. The pace is slow. You relay on the coaches advice for the cards you’re looking at. You email a coach an eBay link of the card, so they give you a thumbs up or down. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a response within 24 hours. You can then purchase the card and send it to psa yourself, or send it directly to a THIRD PARTY SERVICE they’ve subcontracted with. You can also use this service without paying MLP a dime btw.
If this is too slow they offer an accelerator program. For $8000,
They can include you in an exclusive class where you’ll be able to spend more money then lthe original course, and the process will be more automate. At least that’s what was sold to me. I was told that this would come with instant access to coaches DM’s(it did), provide and upstart card finders (complete lie), have access to sports arbitrage betting (which is whole other review in itself), and have the service set up so they can pre-grade, and sell your submissions (horrible experience) All you have to do is buy the cards. Simple, but all a lie.
Coach access- I had Josh. He was a nice guy. Nothing personally negative to say accept he never told me to keep buying cards, or else my refund wouldn’t have a chance. Our meetings turned into dead air as we both would try to keep the optimism. PSA is now taking almost the full length of the course to get your grades back. We had nothing to talk about after I had ran out of money to buy cards, waiting for my next grade submission.
By now I’m over $10k in capital invested. I was hoping to use these submissions for more cards. Never happened. Most of the cards I sent in never came back on time,and the grading service he recommended to use was a total disaster. He told me to use NESP. It’s ran by a coach in the program. After he’d receive my cards, they either sit there or be sent to grade. The cards he did not send lost all the value over the couple months they sat collecting dust. Finally he messages me about sending them to quick consign on eBay. Again, another service you can use outside this program. I lost so much money on these cards with this delay. On top of the poor service timeline, he had my lot confused with another. I had to find my quick consign code on eBay to view my listings and brought it to his attention about the mistake. In the midst of all this mess, he messaged me “just popped” a Jayden Daniels card that wasn’t mine in a grade 10. Joe, if you’re reading this. Just stop man. You are probably the largest single reason this service has failed me and comes off as a scam. Out of the 10 cards I had sent him, only 1 came back a 10. It was a Jaden Daniels that had lost all its value. It was comping at around $500 as a psa 10, by the time I got it back I sold it $140. I didn’t make a dime and had lost a ton on all the other cards.
SPORTS ARB - this was also leveraged in the accelerator program. “Our sports betting guru will help you get money back quick”. They left out the part where the program they use to hedge bets costs $400 A MONTH! You have to create offshore sportsbook accounts and pay with bitcoin. You think they ever mentioned this before taking my $8k? I encourage you, if you’re reading this, to watch a video on how sports arbing is essentially gambling. The casinos aren’t dumb either. They know you’re doing it so they make it as inefficient as possible. Again, there’s a lot of BS on this. Unless you have a lot of money to get you out of certain books. This can eventually cost you more money if not done right. It also takes time. I had to eventually set up 10 bets a day, in hopes I don’t lose out on the sports book I need to. Kind of like, gambling. The casinos limit your draw btw.

This is such an awesome community! I am a total beginner and it is so nice to have a safe, supportive space to learn. From day one Major League Profits gets you on the right track to starting your own card business. I joined MLP's accelerator program about a month ago, so it is obviously new to me. However, I have been very pleased thus far. The best part has been the coaches (shout out Coach Jay and Coach Johnny!). They are knowledgeable about the business and have a proven track record, making real income from flipping cards and (what I like to call) responsible betting. They are approachable, available, and seemingly interested in my success.

I went through and read some of the negative reviews. A lot of them seem like one-off crazy scenarios in a person's life that ultimately lead to the negative experience. If what they say about the refunding process is true, then that sucks. But I cannot speculate on that.

I will say that I can sympathize with those people complaining about the lack of transparent pricing and pushy sales tactics. All in I had to invest almost $12K to be a part of the Accelerator program. Initially I joined Academy for $2K and then was offered Accelerator for another $9.8K. Both numbers were only disclosed at my zoom meetings to initiate my interest/membership. And they did use the "you have to pay this now to lock in this price," which is not cool. It was a big issue with the wife for not talking to her first. I do hope they can be a bit more transparent and laxer on the initial investment even if that means less signups for them. Because at the end of the day, we want more happy people and happy marriages not less, right?

Besides those concerns, I am extremely excited for the opportunity at hand. This is not a get rich quick scheme! There are opportunities to make a quick few thousand with the responsible betting, but if you want to make this into a sustainable side income (or even replace your income entirely - that's the hope!), then it will take time and patience. I am very hopeful and confident this program will really help me and my family.

If you love sports, Pokémon, betting, and numbers, then this program can totally work for you. All you need to do is commit and be patient with the results!
