Return/fulfillment warehouse is located in Asia, not USA
The merchant advertises 30-day returns. I attempted to exercise that return option within the applicable period. Only after I requested the return was, I informed that I would be required to ship the merchandise internationally to an Asian warehouse at my own expense, including potentially substantial international shipping costs and applicable customs or fees.
The merchant now claims that its international return arrangement was "reflected in our return information." This is totally false because they are claiming to be in San Francisco, California and the package says Doral, Florida. The tracking number clearly states the orders are coming straight from China.
There is a material difference between a general statement that "return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility" and clearly informing a U.S. consumer that the return must be shipped internationally to an Asian warehouse.
