Do not pay for gift wrap!!! I was expecting a nice gift wrapped item, professional gift wrapping. What I received looked like a child had wrapped it in some awful spotty paper. I could have done a far better job myself! The item I purchased was Barbour so I was expecting their standard of gift wrapping. Do not waste your money!

Said that they offered 10% off your order with your first purchase and that your sign up code would be emailed to you when you subscribe to their newsletter, none of the sign up emails include the code.

They offer a free delivery option for orders over £50 but this was cheaper so expected to pay delivery. But the item page said free delivery for this item (no mention of the £50) so I was surprised when charged for delivery. Took the hit and placed the order anyway. Paid for the item and received the invoice and money deducted from my account. Surprised the following day to receive an email cancelling the order claiming a misprice. Even though they had taken the money and a contract had been formed. Not impressed with their offhand manner in dealing with what was in fact their mistake.
Edit So your website had not one but two errors on the same product. It sounds like you need a new website team. Also no mention of the fact that you arbitrarily cancelled the order after payment was taken. So a contract had been formed. Also your vast difference was approx £15. Not exactly vast.

Ordered a Barbour Corbridge Wax jacket in Large, I am normally a medium, this was too small for me so I sent it back and asked for the next size up. I was then charged a delivery fee and told that the jacket was now out of stock after checking the website which said it was in stock but the price was now higher and it was confirmed to me by email the jacket was in stock but I would now have to pay the higher price. Would not recommend this company for returns

I ordered a number of Barbour Jackets as the sizing was a little big. I had an issue with returning the first item, Sharon went over and above to help me get the right sized jacket.
Sharon really is fantastic! What could have ended up in a complaint, she resolved very quickly and nothing was too much trouble.
I am very grateful.

0 stars, ordered grub boots online with next day delivery, next day I get a card from royal mail stating there is a fee to pay £5 as incorrect fee paid. Griggs completely deny this even after me sending a copy of the card and offered no viable solution they have completely failed to deliver the item I have paid for. Only expecting 1 item from royal mail the item from griggs. They are a disgrace if you want to receive the item you are paying for go elsewhere, Response to the lies from griggs they are lying they have not a and will not refund the surcharge I have had to pay ignore their responce to this review it's a lie they are scum

Ordered some mens Barbour socks for my husbands xmas present from this company but when they arrived they had sent pink womens socks instead!. I emailed their customer service and never heard a word. I used their contact option in the return request to tell them they had sent the wrong item and never heard a word. I included a handwritten note in the return regarding their error and never heard a word! Then to top it all off, they deducted £4.50 from my return amount, despite my requests not to be charged the £3.50 return fee because of their error. Not sure what the extra £1 is charged for on top of the return fee!! DO NOT BUY from this company, it’s appalling!!!

Yesterday evening (9th Jan) I wrote a review regarding my experience with a purchase I made from MA Grigg.
My review was a negative response to an issue I had after a refund was declined, due to missing tags and damage to the item (not by me).
This morning (10th Jan) I received a call from Sharron at MA Grigg. Having been in a manufacturing, quality and sales driven environments for most of my working life, it was an absolute pleasure to receive a personal call (and not another email) from someone who was prepared to “pick up a phone” and professionally discuss the situation, and how we could resolve it.
Whilst MA Grigg kindly agreed to a refund, I was more impressed that they had read my review, it had been discussed between departments, and action had been taken.
It’s amazing how such simple actions and positive verbal communications can change opinions and perceptions.
An excellent example of customer care and actually “talking to the customer”. Well done to Sharron and the team.

I bought a Lemieux coat in the Christmas sale. It arrived promptly but there was a problem with the coat. I immediately contacted Griggs. They responded very quickly and went to great lengths to get me sorted. I was delighted with their customer service.

I bought some timberland boots it was supposed to be a Xmas gift but wrong size and I’ve returned back to them, parcel arrived on 30st December and from that time I had none response about my refund process since I can’t track nothing on the website.
I’m trying get some response by email but the service team is no willing to help and keep sending me automatic emails. I can’t track my refund process, and I’ve asked several times to them check it out! I don’t want track parcel, i just want to know if the refund process is already started!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So frustrating costumer service honestly!

Quick dispatch of a jacket I ordered. Difficulty with using the 5% welcome offer and noticed after the purchase it wasn’t applied. I emailed to check why and was told it was because I wasn’t logged in. My fault of course but would’ve been a nice gesture if this was offered back to me but it wasn’t. Otherwise an easy transaction, 4*.

I'd never ordered from Griggs before but I found it to be a very smooth experience. My Blundstone boots order was confirmed as dispatched same day and they arrived the next. Rude customer service when checking on the non delivery of an item, Royal Mails fault but the call receiver just wanted to argue and make excuses for Royal Mail, change your delivery company, don't be rude to your customers on their behalf, you have enough bad reviews already.

Sick of companies doing discount products on items far more expensive than Amazon, eBay or other online retailers. Only to discover they are second hand and have been tried on and worn. They are also riddled with marks. Bought a pair of Berghaus Hillmaster II Goretex boots on14 11 23 on website Love The Sales, sent via DPD, supplier is Griggs. Big line across the left toe cap. Crease lines on both boots where they have been bent over the toes, obviously tried on by other people. Marks on the heels...the list goes on. Pardon me, but I paid for a new pair of boots. Not a second hand defective pair, that some other Tom Dick or Harry has tried on previously, rejected then returned. Obviously then redistributed and re sold to me as a new pair. Sadly for Griggs, I'm no sucker!! They only have one pair this size left in stock. I won't be returning for a second helping of disappointment. Mr Jones.
