I bought an F# Pygmy Mutant handpan online from MAGInstruments. I’d been in contact with them several times via email beforehand, and all my questions were answered promptly and in detail.
After placing the order, the handpan was delivered to me quickly and securely packaged. I only needed to be present to sign for it. The handpan is fantastic and meets all my expectations.
In addition to the F# Pygmy, I also own a D-Kurd 10 and a Tonguedrum from MAGInstruments, and I am very happy with both of them.

During the ordering process, my contact with customer service (Anna Arató and Kolos Gunyhó) was always very friendly and courteous. I consistently received prompt and helpful responses to my inquiries. The entire email correspondence was warm and heartfelt, something I have previously experienced only once before with the customer service of another company (Feey AG Switzerland). I felt truly welcome, valued, and taken seriously as a customer.

I came across MAG Instruments after my handpan teacher from Thun provided me with a list of recommended handpan makers. Among them, MAG Instruments impressed me the most with their wide selection and their professional, informative website.

I have now been playing my handpan for a few weeks, and I can say that the craftsmanship is flawless and the sound purity fully convinces me. It is truly a joy to play this instrument. If I ever decide to purchase another handpan, I would definitely order from this company again.

I like to express my joy and enthusiasm at how fabulous, subtle and rich in overtones the MAG handpans sound. The instruments respond very sensitively to every nuance of touch, the sustain is wonderful, and the tuning accuracy is superb. Overall the balance of all the tonal fields in relation to each other and in harmony is exceptional.

These guys went absolutely out of their way to ensure my handpan was perfect and even arranged a seamless exchange for my 2nd handpan. They took care to make sure I wasn't double charged on duties, was fully satisfied, and communicated constantly throughout the process. You don't see customer service this good very often anymore.

On top of the that, the pans are stellar! Incredible sound for such a reasonable price. Can't go wrong here.

Just got my MAG Handpan D Kurd 17 … and WOW. 🤯✨
I’ve played a lot of handpans over the years, but this one instantly feels special. The sound is insanely clean, warm, and full of emotion — every single note just *blooms*. The extended 17-note layout gives me so much creative freedom, and everything is perfectly tuned.

I’m honestly blown away by the craftsmanship. The resonance, the sustain, the balance… MAG absolutely nailed it. This instrument inspires me every time I sit down to play. 🎶💛

If you’re thinking about a high-end handpan, this one is a total masterpiece. Couldn’t be happier with my choice. 🙌✨

If you are nearby to Györ, Hungary, I strongly recommend to pick up your instrument by yourself.
I was very warmly welcomed, got a tour through the factory, thus I could see and actually feel which single steps my handpan went through in order to become such a beauty.
All the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I've been to MAG's manufactory in Győr. Everyone was kind and hospitabel and I got to take a look "behind the scenes" of handpan making. After taking my time trying out some of their pans I also decided to take one home. The instrument itself leaves no wishes open. Its sound is truely magical.
