ordered item 12-14342-88281 on the 10/03/26 item as off 18/03/26 has not been dispatched yet asked to cancel order [ seller refused ] e bay wont help wont allow me to contact them by phone at 1pm uk time [saying i need to call during working hours ] this is the second time in a row iv had trouble with e bay been with them about 15years this will be my last buy from them

After 26 years with EBay they have charged me for their error, I am fuming! They issued me a postage label that had an incorrect Address on it.
However Zoe from customer service stepped in sorted out my issue and gave me a full refund.Ebay Redeemed themselves.
But reading other EBay UK reviews it seems there are some serious postage issues/problems. Ebay used to be really good, what has happened??

Ebay for some ludicrous reason (money probably) have decided the default delivery option is to use the reliably appalling Evri. Latest delivery purportedly delivered at 14:07 to an enclosed porch. I do not have an enclosed porch. I was home all day and at the delivery time I was watching the rugby. Nobody rang door bell or knocked on my door. I suspect item was left on the front path in full view of passers by. Ebay's decision to use Evri means that the click and collect options reduced drastically. For example I like to collect from my local Sainsbury's but as they don't have an Evri centre they are no longer an option. I've used eBay for 15 years plus but will be going elsewhere now.

I have used eBay for many years now….
in recent months as a Guest Buyer.
I have spent a great deal of money and have never been totally satisfied.
In recent months their Sellers and eBay themselves have become extremely unreliable and, as a result….i have lost thousands of pounds.
You have great difficulty in contacting them directly and they NEVER respond to emails.
In effect , they and their Sellers are stealing your money !
They are obviously in League with each other.
BE VERY CAREFUL OF USING BOTH !

Every time I buy off ebay I end up regretting it because it is so difficult and time consuming to get a vat receipt. It's fine for personal purchases but no good for business use. Amazon is the opposite experience.

Withhold your funds for no reason. The help dept of no use at all after multiple call.

Do not use eBay they withhold your funds in the US federal bank are they claim no interest is gained but that is complete lies. The new platform is designed around gaining maximum interest off of funds held more. The product is in transition.
Again, do not use eBay they are a scam operation

You are basically running a scam company ingroing the law of the land and running a business that is not adering to trading standards. So as to your new terms and conditions, I wish you all the worst as acting above the law from the 20th February 2026.

Can believe the cost to sell a car o ebay
I sold a car with reserve price so i thought listing fee inc reserve price would be it. But no another £25 on top final value fee ? So a 7 day listing cost £50 rip off in my opinion.

Had an account for 20+ years, got an email about selling something to get a £50 coupon so I did, all within the dates and other terms but the coupon never came.

Contacted eBay on Facebook who lied about the promo end date even though I had a screenshot of the email but stopped me being able to reply as support has ended via Facebook apparently. customer service on eBay's app dropped the chat when they didn't have an answer.

I'm never going to buy or sell on eBay ever again, I'll pay more for it elsewhere if I have too just to avoid ever support eBay.

EBAY wont allow negative feedback from ANY of its buyers that criticise the authenticity team when they themselves cancel a purchase due to a failure to follow the authenticity guidelines.
This is unacceptable as the public should be allowed to do this but ebay dont want to have bad reviews so are manipulating the feedback by preventing it from ever being put out in public view.

If i could give zero stars, i would. Could only find a book i wanted on ebay, chose paid for royal mail tracked 48 hour delivery. Asked the seller for the tracking number. He gave me a weird tracking number not royal mail. Turns out he was using aqualine, which was banned by ebay in july 2024. I quickly worked out he was using Amazon to deliver ( Rochester is a distribution centre and Bournemouth is my local Amazon depot). Tracking not updated for days, seller kept telling me it will be delivered tomorrow. Even when i told him he was using a banned way to deliver. Ebay customer support is really bad. Not helping and lying to me.Was delivered outside my communal block, not to my flat door, to be stolen. Seller keeps sending me a picture of it delivered, not listening that it is not my property door. So not delivered as per ebays guidelines. Had he told me he was not using my paid for 48 hour tracked royal mail i would have cancelled my order. When i get my refund, i am never ordering from ebay ever again. It has gone downhill. Now all the chat people are foreign. Just like contacting Amazon. Avoid, do not use ebay.

S.H.I.T SEARCH TOOL , YOU TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO FIND EXACT ITEM NAME, WHEN YOU BUY ONE AT THE AUCTION AND PAY , IN EXACTLY MOMENT APPEARS A ORIGINAL ITEM NEW ONE WITH CHEAPER PRICE ...!!!!!

Unfortunately it was my bad luck to buy a "new" walking frame from a ebay seller. When it arrived it was damaged and badly scratched. This was because the seller didn't bother to wrap it up and just posted it. But when I opened a return request the seller became extremely aggressive threatening to come to my home and accusing me of being homosexual it was a tsunami of abusive. I reported this to ebay and got the stock reply of "we take this sort of abusive behaviour seriously ". But what happened was ebay removed my negative feedback and replaced it with positive feedback. Like a lot of people I use seller feedback as a indicator of trust in the seller. Ebay have undermined this.

Banning my account for no reason.Been selling stuff for 4 years and yesturday my account was banned by a customer service agent who I suspect is in close connection with business sellers.Be aware people of this fake customer service agents infiltrated to ban accounts !!!!

Seller reassured me the item would work as my laptop turned up faulty, sent him the evidence seller, then he stopped communicating except for gaslighting me. Ebay has blocked my every attempt to contact them regarding the faulty item and I have been refused a return. When I look at the invoice, the seller is listed as EBAY (UK) LIMITED Company number 03726028 So unless ebay has sold me faulty goods themselves and then refused me all consumer rights they are refusing to provide me with the company that has sold me faulty goods! Either way this is clearly unacceptable service and breaches my consumer rights, I will no longer be using Ebay agian!!!!!!!

keep finding Counterfeit products ie watches on my search. The help section on Ebay is utter rubbish when you are just searching and very hard to report these items. And when i managed to do it i got an AI answer that simply ignores the Counterfeit reporting

Bought a product that was out of stock everywhere, the seller on eBay (from Lithuania) had 1 item left!
After purchasing read the reviews and I thought let's see ;)
The product arrived within few days already, much faster than estimated; good job!

In the main I have a good experience with eBay. I can find rare vintage items that I need for my collection, stuff that I thought had disappeared for ever. Sellers are usually honest and trustworthy with eBay keeping an eye on things to ensure buyers are protected. However, eBay have recently struck a deal with Evri to provide a delivery service and so far I have found several items have been unaccountably delayed once Evri have accepted the package. If Evri cannot improve their performance I think eBay would be better advised to cancel the deal.

I bought fake goods of a seller and eBay would not help at all. They're even had a complete from the real brand I bought from nutrition Geeks as the seller was selling fake magnesium products. They're apparently said they are closing down this seller. Well she's still got an account opened. EBAY DOE'S NOT HAVE BUYER PROTECTION. That is a lie.
