Thanks to the professionalism, hospitality and kindness of Ayşegül and her family, we had a wonderful three days. The hiking roots she suggested were extremely trails. The dinners with traditional meals were simply amazing. Live music was suprise of the night.

We chose Ayşegül's hostel to stay between 16-19 May and were very pleased. Homemade breakfast and home cooked meals were amazing. We were very pleased with the Lycian Way routes she suggested to us. After walking nearly 30 km in total for two days, the transfers by Ayşegül provided great convenience. We will remember the meals we ate on the terrace in the evening for a long time. We return home very relaxed and rested. We definitely hope to come again and complete the remaining routes of the Lycian Way.

The experience was great in all aspects. Ayşegül was very helpful for the instructions for the Lykian Road. She served amazing breakfast and dinner everyday. We appreciate her hospitality and very welcoming approach.

She arranged guides in Istanbul to make sure we had a stress free experience. Our Lycian Way hike was spectacular with our guide Yalcin Ergun explaining the vegetation, ancient sites and history. The food was delicious, especially the Turkish cuisine personally prepared by Ayse and her mother at their comfortable home. Ayse set up the perfect ending to our trip of a lifetime with several days in the beachside resort town of Kas to relax after a five day hike on the Lycian Way. We would recommend Ayse to anyone visiting Turkey, looking for a custom made experience.

We were looking for a reliable company to organise a 14‑day self‑guided walk on the Lycian Way, from Fethiye to Kas, and all roads led us to Ayse Gul’s travel company. From our very first contact, everything was seamless.

We shared how far and how long we wanted to walk each day, and Ayse Gul created an itinerary that suited us perfectly. Every detail was thought through. I mentioned that I don’t eat red meat, and without any fuss this was communicated to every pansiyon we stayed in. She also arranged a late‑night airport pick‑up from Dalaman and our transfer to Fethiye – smooth, stress‑free and perfectly timed. Everything simply worked.

Most nights we stayed in lovely, comfortable pansiyons where we slept extremely well. The home‑cooked evening meals were delicious and breakfasts were genuinely generous – more like a banquet than a simple start to the day, and ideal fuel for walking. Packed lunches were available if needed, and the hosts everywhere were warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive. It was clear they had a strong relationship with Ayse Gul, and that pride in hospitality really showed.

We were lucky enough to stay with Ayse Gul herself for a couple of nights and were exceptionally well looked after. The accommodation was of a very high standard, the food was excellent, and each day she dropped us at our starting point and collected us again at the end. We loved spending time with her in the evenings – great company and great conversation.

We completed our walk in Kas, staying in a beautiful hotel with a restaurant overlooking the sea – the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey. Ayse Gul then organised our return transfer to the airport, bringing two wonderful weeks on the Lycian Way to a close.

We enjoyed the experience so much that we contacted Ayse Gul again the following year to organise another two‑week walk, this time from Kas onwards. Once again, everything was meticulously planned and executed.

We have incredibly happy memories of our walks on the Lycian Way and remain hugely grateful to Ayse Gul for organising two very special trips for us. We were delighted to hear she is now also offering self‑guided cycling tours in Turkey, and we’re certain we’ll be calling on her again.

We were a group of 11 Canadian women between 65 -72 years old who walked Lycian Way in mid-October to Nov. 6. I had found Ayse's company's website a year ago and she and I communicated regularly over a year to customize an itinerary that would allow us to see the best parts of the Lycian Way, while continuing to travel eastward towards Antalya. She was so accommodating , incredibly diligent and creative in ensuring we felt safe yet challenged on the trail (and was available daily when we had trouble finding the markers on the trail on the wikilocs app). Our itinerary was varied and included rest and sight seeing days to give our bodies and legs a rest when needed. The local shuttles organized to pick us up at various checkpoints were so convenient and greatly appreciated, Ayse's choice of accommodations were perfect and it was clear she had close connections with the small local innkeepers who took care of us during our stays.
A big highlight was our stay at 2 villas for 5 nights where Ayse, her partner Olgun and her mother cooked delicious meals for us and made us feel so much at home. Our last night was particularly special since we had a duet performance by Olgun on guitar and my sister playing her violin. I also had the opportunity to spend quality time with Ayse and to thank her in person for all her hard work and energy in making this trip so special for us all. She took care of us like we were her family.
We all would fully recommend her company to anyone seeking to explore and experience the Lycian Way. This was a trip of a lifetime. Ayse- we will not forget you.

We enjoyed a wonderful hike of the whole Lycian Way starting in April 2025. Ayşe Gul of Lycian Walk was essential in planning the details of our trip by organizing transportation where necessary, and booking all our accommodation. She customized our walk for us and added rest- and sight-seeing days as we wished. We even spent a few days at her house during part of the hike where we were looked after beautifully by Ayşe and her partner; with very interesting conversation, delicious food, and musical entertainment. Another of the great joys of the trip was the diversity of accommodations she had found for us, which provided memorable insight into Turkish life. The hosts were so welcoming and the rooms comfortable: mostly ensuite.

Planning a trip through Lycian Walk meant that we had help at all times of our trip. We needed transportation from some parts of the hike to get to our accommodation and Ayşe was always available to take our WhatsApp call and pass on details of our location to the drivers.

Initially, when planning our trip, we were puzzled at the lack of independent reviews of this company, but everything went like clockwork for us, and we hope to go back to Turkey one day, and maybe do another hike with Lycian Walk.

We recently completed a hiking holiday with Lycian Walks, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Ayse’s communication before the trip was prompt and clear.
The Lycian Way was stunning — breathtaking coastal views, great forest trails, ancient ruins tucked away on mountain paths.
Accommodation and meals exceeded our expectations. Each guesthouse was clean and comfortable, and food terrific.
Most of all, Ayse’s attention to detail and genuine care stood out. She checked in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly and was quick to help with any questions or concerns we had. GPX trail maps were sent to us daily.

We walked the Lycian Way in September 2024 from Fethiye to Antalya. Lycian Walk, Ayse Gul, organised every single bit of the walk. Her flawless itinerary had us seeing spectacular sights, walking the most beautiful paths along the coast and having our bags transferred and us when we needed the extra help! The accommodations were great and the food was delicious. But I have never experienced Ayse Gul and family's hospitality at their accommodation and love of what they do. The food was mind blowing delicious, the chooks, pets, sunset views all made our stay with her a highlight of our walk. We totally recommend walking the Lycian Way and let Ayse Gil organise every detail for you and all you have to do is enjoy the walk with daily wikiloc routes sent every day. Still our best holiday, Thank You.

Ayse the organiser was always on call and willing to change my walking plans , when after a very strenuous I wanted a rest day or stay over in a particularly interesting spot . The Lycian Way route is challenging and often poorly marked Ayse alway sent the rout via Wickiloc and responded to any queries . Her choice of accommodation is good using local premises and products , although her choices are sometimes limited . If you are very fortunate , you may have the opportunity to stay at Ayse's home and experience the warm atmosphere and lovely food. I first commenced walking the Lycian in 2024 ( 14 days) and spent another 14 days April/May of 2025 I plan to return in 2026.

I found this is a very challenging but amazing hike, the organisation and support from Ayşe was excellent. She planned our itinerary to fit in with our timeframe and was always available to answer questions or assist us when there were any problems, eg our accommodation was changed one day because she had received negative feedback about our intended destination for the night, new accommodation and transportation were arranged for us. As the walk is in rural Türkiye she was able to communicate with our hosts and resolve any issues or concerns. I had an injury and she organised transportation to our next destination which was extremely helpful. One of the highlights of the walk was the time we stayed at her paynsion and enjoyed great local food and company! Her knowledge of this walk is second to none. I would highly recommend lycianwalk.com to anyone wanting to walk the Lycian Way.

From the time we arrived in Fethiye till we departed from Antalya, Ayse Gul & Lycian Walk had our best interests at heart. Every day she contacted us with the next days route and asked how we were and if we needed to change anything or wanted anything. It was like having a "Mother" every day on our 480Km trek.
The support and guidance was outstanding and all the Guest House owners knew who Ayse Gul was, so it was like a large family trip which made everything easy, and it all went like clockwork.

I searched online for a reputable tour operator for my planned hike of of Lycian Way, South West Turkey. There are a number operators based in Europe that cover this destination but I was specifically looking for one based in Turkey and came across Lycian Walk. This family run business provides a very friendly service with expert knowledge of Lycian Way. I was treated as a member of the family with the wonderful experience starting at the airport and continuing throughout. They organised the hike plan down to every detail and provided maps and transport, very comfortable hotel stays along the way and great Turkish cuisine.
I booked the 7-day hike and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the picturesque villages along the coast and the wonderful Turkish hospitality and learned a lot about Turkish culture. I plan to go back to continue the hike as soon as I get a chance. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for an authentic Turkish hiking experience that comes with a personal touch and a very friendly service.
