Fantastic van hired for a family of first time festival goers! Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to make our first motorhome adventure a really comfortable and enjoyable experience. Lots of info at pick up to ensure we knew how everything worked, and smooth handover on return. Wouldn't hesitate to use Luna again. Thanks guys! Zoe and family. 😊

Dreadful company, will find any reason reason to take from your deposit , Peter and Nicola not to be trusted . Would never recommend in a million years , also vehicles missing lots of amenities ie microwave u/s tv u/s bedding missing poor communication. Avoid like the plague.

We hired for the second time & noticed how the customer service had improved. Not that it was bad last time but, this time it was even better. The motorhome was exactly what we had ordered. Everything worked perfectly & we got a full deposit refund on return. We will use Luna again for our next trip.

We recently hired a motorhome from Luna Motorhome Hire for a week-long trip exploring the South West with our 7-year-old daughter and our dog, and we couldn't be happier with the experience.

The motorhome itself was excellent and very modern. The standard of cleanliness when we picked it up was spotless, and we loved the clever layout—especially the hidden cupboards and the brilliant under-bed boot space, which made packing and organizing our gear so easy. It was also remarkably comfy to sleep in after busy days of exploring.

We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like having the basic essentials included (such as a scourer, washing up liquid, and a tea towel) and the clear, comprehensive instructions provided in the van for how everything worked.

The customer service was top-notch throughout the entire process.

Our only minor constructive feedback is that the pop-up top was quite stiff and hard to pull down after use; someone with less arm strength might definitely struggle with it and need a hand.

Overall, a brilliant trip and a fantastic vehicle. We wouldn't hesitate to hire from Luna Motorhome Hire again!

We collected our motorhome from their Northampton branch, where the team were fantastic. They took the time to explain everything we needed to know and made the whole process really straightforward.

The motorhomes are modern, comfortable and well-equipped, and we found the pricing very reasonable for what you get.

We spent three weeks travelling around Europe as a family, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The motorhome gave us the freedom to explore some incredible places while still having all the comforts of home.

Hired a motorhome from Luna for the second year in a row , on both occasions they were super friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate our requirements. Hand over was informative, thorough and efficient. They answered all our concerns helpfully.
Both times the motorhomes were clean and well stocked with essentials.
I have read the other reviews on here and I can't understand the negative ones, its like reading about a completely different company.
We will not hesitate to use Luna in the future.

We booked a motorhome from Luna Motorhomes but the one we wanted was not available so they gave us another one which was fantastic we were given a auto gearbox which was a god send as we were doing the NC500 it was only a few months old so very clean it had Internet and air-conditioning when plugged into the electric aswell we had a great experience from start to finish and will definitely use them again so thank you for helping us make great family holiday memories

First the postives - Van was nearly new and wifi wasn't expected.
Negatives - On handover it was fortunate I checked that the pre paid gas £35 was actually supplied as it wasn't and neither were the wheel ramps that i paid £10 for provided. I also asked to check the fuel level as its return full and it was only 3/4 full. So handover wasn't great.
As soon as I left the collection point a warning light kept appeared to say tailgate open - I called and was told it was the side door and to slam it shut to fix. Unfortunately this did not resolve the problem.
When I arrived home from the collection I lowered the middle electric bed. This immediately broke the control panel as the flexible light had been left in the wrong place apparently - it seems like a poor design and there was already a black mark where someone else had left it in the wrong place and marked the wall.
I had to return the van to have the panel replaced and whilst there I asked for the side door to be fixed. Pete, the owner seemed less than happy - not the best start to a trip.
Whilst away the shower door latch broke whilst driving. I also discovered that the magnetic catch that is supposed to hold the door open when showering was in the wrong position - it had failed to stay open on collection but I was told it was because it wasn't level - which turned out to be incorrect.
With the heatwave I returned early and called to check it was ok to bring the van back 24 hrs early. I advised the broken shower door latch.
On return Pete, the owner, checked the van with a colleague.
He asked when the latch was damaged and I said it was a day or two into the hire. He said the part was a couple of pounds but he was going to charge.
Pete said he had driven the van back from Italy with no issue. He also shockingly said he thought I was being dishonest for not reporting the latch earlier!
Quite what difference the timing of reporting makes I am not sure - but it was completely insulting.
He also said that the cleaner always left the light in the correct place so the damage to the control panel was also my fault.
I advised I had a photo on pick up as there was a black mark on the wall behind - he said he would eat his words if I could prove it.
Fortunately I did have the photo. He never apologised.
I also said if it was so crucial for the reading light to be moved why was it not mentioned on pick up - or in any kind of instructions with the van.
Apparently it was still my fault as I said on pick up that I was unlikely to use the middle bed.
I advised there was no way I would accept being charged for the damage.
His reponse was to say that was ok but he would ask me not to hire from them again.
Unbelieveable attitude.
I have hired many motorhomes and owned one. They get a lot of shaking and things do break over time unfortunately.
I am extremely careful and look after them as if they are my own.
Pete's entire attitude was very insulting. His colleague didn't know where to look - he must be a nightmare to work for.
I appreciate there are many great reviews but this should be a caution as if anything goes wrong ( there is another 1 star review where damage occurred and a high charge was made) it would seem that the owner is less than reasonable.

1 - I showed the photo - it has the time/date stamp on the phone underneath on it - I never declined to provide this -he never asked - a blatant lie by the owner I have added the same photo with the time date and location to prove beyond doubt I am correct
2 I never expected the drop down bed to catch the light and damage the control panel - absolutely stupid to think I would do that.
3 The drive from the gates is straight - and when I returned the vehicle a lorry had to back up - so the idea I was driving erratically is another lie.

He is obviously trying to defend the undefendable - a good reason alone to absolutely avoid this guys business
