I have just been for my new system at the Edinburgh studio. The service provided by this team is exceptional. I prefer the personal relations that you develop with a smaller branch like Edinburgh rather than the big studios.

There is a wonderful energy when you arrive at the saloon. Darren was there to greet you with his normal enthusiastic manner what a joy he is to the saloon. Both Leah and Mina provided an outstanding service, nothing was too much trouble for them. Leah is an excellent technician and her attention to detail is second to none. Mina for being French your English is outstanding I loved chatting to you and sharing my trips to France.

Danielle came and spoke to everyone to ask howc we all were. This is outstanding for a manager to come and speak personally to all the clients who were in the salon. She also styled my hair as I told her that trust is a huge element when cutting a brand new system. I personally prefer her to do this and she always agrees even although she is very busy. Danielle I really appreciate this you always know what I want, thank you again.

As a Customer Experience Manager some say I am quite hard to please. However I can honestly say that this Edinburgh team are fantastic ambassadors for the Lucinda Ellery brand. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and professional service are second to none. Thank you and well done to Danielle and the whole team you should all be very proud of your whole customer ethic and the great service you provide to your clients. I could not rate Lucinda Ellery highly enough! For what is an emotionally turbulent and draining experience, you feel completely supported the whole way through…it’s rare nowadays, to experience service where nothing is too much trouble, but at Lucinda Ellery they cannot do enough for you! Dani, Sophie and Simone were really great, their patience, friendly approach and support actually made the experience enjoyable! And Clive then worked his magic, what a genuinely lovely person and an incredible talent! Thank you all so much!

Awful company with immature staff and a founder who is more interested in metaphysics than her clients! I had extensions for several years without issues and then they started to be unreliable, hair falling out after a few weeks, bonds becoming very sticky. The staff, including the customer services manager, blamed me, saying it must be my treatment of them even though I hadn't changed anything about my haircare regime. They suggested if I wasn't happy to go elsewhere. This was shocking as I was not a 'problem' customer and was genuinely upset about the issues and didn't want the anxiety of finding somewhere else. That said I did, and find that micro bead extensions are far better, cheaper and more reliable plus I keep the hair for a year rather than paying hundreds of pounds each time!

The whole team at Lucinda Ellery in Southampton are very professional but also very kind and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is warm and welcoming.
I suffered from Telogen Effluvium after a very traumatic hospital stay. The support and expertise from the salon helped me through a distressing time and my hair is now looking great. Many thanks to the whole team.

My continued thanks to Paulo and Sylvia plus the girls at Southampton, they are a wonderful team and pthing is too much trouble for any of them. The Southampton studio is a credit to the Lucinda Ellery brand. Please leep up the fantastic work you do.

The staff are all so professional and work as a team. I have been going to this salon in Southampton for many years and every time I come away feeling wonderful and able to face the world. I cannot praise Lucinda Ellery enough just brilliant.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. All I wanted for my mum in her final days was to make her feel good in some small way after very suddenly being diagnosed with terminal cancer at 50 years old . Every time I drive past this place I am reminded of the extra stress and upset this gave her during the most difficult time …never mind the thousands of pounds spent. Don’t waste your money or your time . What was offered couldn’t be achieved and never worked. Although it was very try clear the hair solution hadn’t worked and with multiple visits they didn’t sort it out. I feel as though they are exploiting very unwell people for a huge amount of money .

I visit the Bristol studio and have done since 2015 Dom and her team are fantastic always very welcoming from the minute you step through the door. It’s been great to see Dom now become the studio manager well deserved she’s great at ensuring everyone is being looked after from customers through to staff a job I know from my own experience at work can sometimes be challenging but she does it every time thanks team Bristol

I attended the Edinburgh studio on Wednesday and as usual was treated very well by Darren and all of the staff that day .
Great care is taken by them to make you feel at ease and that the system meets all of your needs. I have previously attended the London and Southampton studios over the years and now that I live in Scotland , I am fortunate to have such a friendly studio nearby.
It was and always is a pleasant experience to go there, have a friendly chat and come out so pleased with the treatment I get there. thank you so much to the team.

I cannot praise the team at Lucinda Ellery enough. I had the most amazing experience at their beautiful London studio last week.
Since losing a huge amount of my hair from alopecia in a short space of time, I was feeling incredible sad, scared and depressed as I realised that treatment was not working.
I am so thankful that I found Lucinda Ellery, I now feel my confidence is back and I can forget about the hair loss which was taking over my life.
As soon as I walked through the door I felt my anxiety lift as everyone is so welcoming and understanding. I had my intralace system fitted by Valentina, a highly skilled technician who throughout the process looked after me so well. The salon manager, Simone, kept me informed throughout the day and took over the process when the other ladies went home. Her experience and knowledge is so clear to see and she worked late into the evening to complete my system.
I had an incredible stylist, Clive, who again gave me valuable advice and also stayed late into the evening to give me the most beautiful hairstyle which everyone has complemented me on since.
I loved my day with Lucinda Ellery, I love my new hair and love getting my life back.

I have just had my second Intralace system fitted at Southampton. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am. The whole experience there is so easy and faultless, there is a real family atmosphere and each and every member of staff makes you feel welcome and at ease.
I must thank the three who fitted my system. Firstly the incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic Sylvia who makes sure that I have the perfect system. All my questions are answered and she really does make sure that I get what is best and most suited for me. Secondly, little pocket rocket Elizabeth, Sylvia’s right hand partner, with me every step of the way and keeping me entertained with her conversation. Last, but by no means least, the absolutely champion of cutting and styling Paolo. He really listens to my styling requests and advises what is best. I trust him implicitly and he has never let me down.
To anyone reading this and wondering if they should make the leap and get a system, I implore you to do so. It will change your life. You will no longer worry about how the weather will affect your look or who will judge you adversely by your hair.
Instead you will be confident and happy and be able to get out as much as you want with your head held high.

YES YES YES! Lucinda Ellery changed my life. I walked into the salon feeling self conscious and embarrassed but walked out of those doors feeling a million dollars. This was a huge testament to the incredibly supportive and considerate staff - especially Dominique, who really went that extra mile to make sure my hair was perfect, but I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible hair system which felt comfortable, natural and beautiful. For the first time in years I feel confident and have a spring in my step. I would recommend this beautiful salon and its staff to anyone, it's been transformative for me!

I am really sad to be writing a negative review for Lucinda Ellery, as I had such high expectations based on what I had read about them beforehand. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disorganised and unprofessional from the start. My initial consultation at the Manchester salon felt very sales-orientated and not focused on what I actually wanted my new hair to look like. During my consultation, I was not informed that I would need a patch test if I wanted my own hair coloured to match the intralace hair. This oversight meant I had mismatched hair colours until I could return a week later for the colour treatment after the patch test. Consequently, I incurred an unnecessary extra train fare and several hours of travel from where I live.

What surprised me the most was that no one even asked if I wanted my hair coloured, despite their social media being filled with women sporting beautifully colored hair. I had very visible dark roots at the time of my consultation, so it should have been obvious that I would want my hair dyed. Unfortunately, no one apologised for this oversight.

When I had the intralace fitted for the first time, the stylists showed little interest in suggesting what would suit me best. When I showed them a photo of the hair colour I desired, they brought out samples that were several shades lighter, and I had to repeatedly correct them on the colour.

The main problem with the intralace system was the hair itself, which was of the worst quality I could have imagined. Initially, it felt lovely when I left the salon, but after the first wash, it became apparent that the hair was completely bleach-damaged and brittle. Despite following their instructions precisely and using the recommended products, the hair became utterly unmanageable. It took me an hour to detangle the knots and tangles while blow-drying, and brushing it resulted in clumps of hair falling out, requiring constant cleaning around the house.

The system was a nightmare to style and maintain, feeling uncomfortable and itchy. The expense is absolutely extortionate for what you get, especially considering the additional £100 or so every six weeks (on top of the initial cost of well over £1000) for adjustments. To be honest, I would have considered it worth the cost if the hair had been of decent quality. I became so depressed with the intralace system that I went to a local hairdresser to have it removed after two months. I couldn’t bear the thought of going back to the Manchester salon, fearing they would blame me for not maintaining it properly, which was not the case.

I believe this company cares more about taking your money than providing quality service. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that some of the stylists were attentive and professional. All in all, I sadly cannot recommend Lucinda Ellery to anyone suffering from hair loss.

I could write an essay on how bad an experience I had with this company. I first walked into the Manchester salon which was completely scruffy, run down, dolls heads everywhere, hair everywhere. Not in the least bit like their glamourous Instagram page or website. When I arrived they had no idea what I was having done ( consultation was done with London via video call). Someone then made a joke saying they were expecting a red head and was I wearing a wig. I started to get bad vibes and think I was making a mistake. Given I’d paid the deposit and was there, I decided to follow through with my decision. I was seated without any offer of screens and all the staff ( mainly young and unprofessional) who weren’t working stood around the till gawping at me having my intralace system. I felt so embarrassed. The process was excruciating and ended up losing a lot of hair in the process. When I left the tightness of the system was just so uncomfortable. It gave me tension headaches, sleepless nights and caused me misery. I went back a week later to see if the manager could rectify the situation as the girl who fitted it was doing it under supervision and leaving to go travelling the next day. Tom the manager was extremely nice and did his best to rectify. I felt I needed to be polite because he was so nice and I did agree it was slightly better. It was a bit better after he trimmed some unnecessary bits but definitely not comfortable. For someone experiencing severe alopecia I just accepted the pain in order to hide my condition. Follow ups to have the system tightened ended in more pain and more hair loss. The last appointment I had, the girl said how tangled the system was but still tightened it further rather than addressing the issue. It got to the point where I could not return. It was such a depressing place and had a really bad vibe about it. I ended up having to have the system cut out by another more ethical salon who do hair systems. The system was awful as you couldn’t wash it properly. I saw a trichologist she said it should never have been fitted in someone with active alopecia. It made my hair loss 1000 % worse and I have yet to see proper regrowth as the traction has helped even though they sold it as super gentle. Can’t believe these people market themselves as empathetic and the hair ‘ fairy’ … the scary hair fairy more like. Please don’t waste your money like I did. I took so many pictures of the damage but sadly don’t think I can share on here. When I tried to make people aware on their instagram page they blocked me. Please don’t be fooled by the good reviews it was awful. Maybe it depends where you go I don’t know but all I do know is I had months of hell from this system. It’s took me a while to write this review I’ve been so sad and traumatised.

I went to Lucinda Ellerys with the highesst expetations and was really excited to do this process. I explained to them what I wanted and what color. They said they could not do a medium brown so mine was black which I agreed to. I also told them it was too long and she said when they layer it that would shorten it. When that time came I was told then that they could not layer it and it would not be shortened.Then when I called and complained they lied and said they told me this from the beginning which they didnt. Also if you think you will have a lot of choices in wefts I didnt. they only showed me 2 and 1 was burgandy ewww. Well I managed to get them to take it off and reimburse me for the process but I had expense for a hotel for one night and train tickets for 2 days which were not cheap but I did not get an offer to pay me back for that which between gas and everything else was close to $500. I researched a lot before deciding on going here and it has a lot of happy customer but unfortunately I was not one of them. I do believe it was because of the team that I had working on me. She did what she wanted and not what I was looking for at all. They make it sound like you have a lot of choices but you really dont even if you bring a picture of what you want but cant get. I appreciate them refunding me but the experience was a total diaster.

Whilst I have no doubt all Lucinda Ellery salons offer wonderful experiences for their clients. The Southampton Team are exceptional. Always kind and professional they welcome you as family and make my visits comfortable and relaxed every time.

Ive been a client at Lucinda Ellerey for 10 years now, and used to travel to London for appointments, so I was so happy when a salon opened up in Southampton! I enjoy my visits to Southampton where the team are so welcoming and attentive, everyone makes me feel welcome and are very professional in what they do, I've never felt so relaxed and always leave the salon feeling gorgeous ! Excellent team and service.

Massive shout out and sincere thanks to the fabulous Lettie at LucindaEllery Southampton, for a superb new parting. Despite my initial reservations, the colour is spot on, I really should just trust these fabulous professionals as they know what suits me best.
