Poor management. The Global fanbase's voices don't matter, and many lost money by purchasing diamonds in preparation for promised content that was canceled. #BringBackValko

I have played this game since it's original release, invested a ton of money, purchased official merch, have been an active part of the LADS community on all platforms, and even had a irl friend grab me OG merch while they were in China. With that said, I'm devastated to see Infolds dismissal of everything going on right now. They got us hyped for the new LI just to cancel him right before his official launch. They then announce that they not only nerfed the character but there will be no 6th LI going forward. We have been aware that there would be a 6th LI this entire time. It was not a secret, nor a surprise and he's desperately needed to balance the game. They have issues with story progression and the development on 2 of the other LI's but there's no reason or excuse as to why they couldn't release the 6th LI AND work on their other known flaws. I fear that if they're willing to suddenly pull the rug out from under us, what else will they do? I don't want to invest anymore money in fear that they'll take something else away. Now we're left confused and an entire design team is having to watch their hard work vanish into nothing. My fingers are crossed that they'll bring Valko back and fix this mess.

Disheartening behavior from Infold. Caving into a toxic minority and completely erasing Valko is incredibly unfair to the global audience who was thrilled to welcome him. Not to mention, it completely disrespects the voice actors, animators, and artists whose hard work over months has been entirely thrown in the trash.

The company heavily advertised a new love interest across multiple platforms, even featuring him on massive billboards in Times Square. They actively built excitement, encouraged fans to get invested, and promoted him as an upcoming addition to the game -only to announce, just weeks later, that he had been scrapped and would never be released.

That's incredibly disappointing.

It's disrespectful not only to the players who were excited for his story, but also to the writers, artists, animators, voice actor, and everyone else who spent their time and talent bringing this character to life. Seeing all of that work thrown away after such a major marketing campaign is difficult to understand.

I've never been this disappointed in a company. They generated hype, got fans emotionally invested, and then canceled the character before release. It leaves many people wondering: what was the point of advertising him so heavily in the first place?

This decision feels unfair to the fans, the development team, and everyone who believed in this character.

I and so many other players were so excited for Valko to be added but it seems Infold allows CN fans to bully them out of releasing a perfectly fine character. All because he's not sickly pale and malnourished, so CN fans called him "gay looking" and "too dark." It's disgusting enough this company ignores actual issues that are brought up mostly by global fans; such as the total lack in diversity of hair types, skintone lighting being terrible for dark skin, the inconsistency of main story content, etc. But instead, they allow bigoted behavior in their fanbase purely because they pay more. Multi billion dollar company with no backbone, truly pathetic.

unbelievable. removing Valko, while he was supposed to be released wirh the new update, just because of a loud minority. I am not saying mainland China is a minority playerbase, no they are the main one, infold folded for a racist loud minority. a minority group who hate him because hes not 'pretty' enough and 'too Western looking', a group that is known to hate poc players and the whole western side of the playerbase, while having more than just fun that those who are interested in him are mad. This is false advertisement and consumer fraud. absolutely disappointed.

Infold doesn't care for those who genuinely love the game and its characters.

This company has shown that they will always prioritise a loud segment of their global audience over everything else, even if it means cancelling a crucial character and content that's been planned since launch. I am disappointed that I wasted this much time supporting this game.

I am highly disappointed in Infold. They announce new character, get him hyped up, then cancel him in less that a week. People spent money on the game preparing for the new love interest and then they cancel him. That’s fraud and not okay.! This character did not come out of nowhere. We all knew we would have a 6th guy and Infold could have made better decisions but made all the worse ones. At the bare minimum release Valko to us global fans. I hate that the dev team and va’s have lost a steady source of income being cancelled so quickly. Work they spend over a year or more on. They deserve to see their work be loved by fans, not canceled over a small vocal minority.

They capitulate to a vocal minority that are upset over someone that doesn't quite fit that particular group's beauty standards. The game is global but they only really listen to the voices of one country that is known to engage in racism towards anyone with slightly tan skin. Ive been playing this game for 1.5 years now and I have loved it dearly but they have gone too far quietly going back on their SCHEDULED promises that we have known about for the entirety of the game's existence. They used our money to build new content just to fire the people that worked hard to make it real and scrap everything.

I love the game and was eagerly awaiting the new 6th Love interest for awhile before even announcement, only for infold to back track today and say he was cancelled and will not be included in the game. This is unfair and false advertisement given all the coming soon features in game and the trailers and billboards. Please infold I beg for you to bring him back, even if it's just for global since CN didn't want him. I am a dolphin player and Valko would have made me a whale. Infold does not listen to their paying customers except for the ones that bully their employees, curating a toxic, dangerous community. They also just canceled releasing a new, anticipated LI in a fruitless effort to avoid accountability in the glaring issue that is their lack of communication and content for the game.

This company does not care for its players. Announcing a new love interest got them into trouble because players were worried the rest of the game was going to lack on stories and resources and instead of addressing the source problem, they decided to give some of the originally intended livestream rewards as an "apology", then remove the new love interest who had multiple trailers and ties to the main story entirely while announcing that there will never be another love interest, to finally give us more apology tickets that are only redeemable once a day, forcing us to play for 30 days as they hope the backlash will die down by then. Outrageous.

Literally don't give a care for their global players- let CN player run the show and bully others and gloat about it, not to mention how they're allowing racist behavior. I was thrilled for the new LI but now ive deleted the app entirely.

Infold has broken their promises.
A new character was scheduled to be released and under pressure from Chinese players, they lied and canceled the release. They have consistently shown that their global player base means nothing to them. International players have been requesting QoL improvements regarding the handling of dark-skinned characters and have been ignored. This recent incident involving the cancelation of a new character is the last straw for International players who have been loyal in our support of the company and the game. As of this moment they are steadily losing followers on social media. Players are uninstalling the game. Their dishonesty and bad business practices have alienated the global players.

I love this game. However, it has become impossible to ignore how the company treats people passionate about LADS and their own fantastically talented team. This is a great game with many cute stories and I like each of the love interests. I spend on each of them too, or I did until Valko was canceled. After today I will be disengaging from the game and Infold. Start it if you like, but be warned, eventually you'll see how much you are valued as a player.

Actively promoted a new love interest got fans invested and excited, only to cancel the love interest and say he will not be in the game after weeks of advertising said character.

A cruel thing to do to their fans, the Voice actor who just lost their job and the artists who spent time drawing, animating and rendering this character.

It’s unbelievable a company company would spend so much time and money advertising a new love interest only to cancle and scrap the game of all his content right before he was set to be released.

It’s disrespectful to the players, the writers, artists, voice actors and everyone who worked on this game.

I have never been so disappointed with a company, to simply throw away a character they advertised before his release date! Getting everyone all excited and then saying he’s cancled? What was the point of that? It is cruel to fans, players, and their staff.
