I genuinely love Los Angeles Apparel BUT!
I genuinely love Los Angeles Apparel’s heavy-weight T-shirts — the quality of the fabric itself is great, which makes this experience all the more disappointing.
I placed a larger-than-usual order specifically for the Black Friday promotion, including discounted items and advertised giveaways. Unfortunately, almost half of my order was problematic: out of nine items, four were either defective, incorrect, or unusable.
One T-shirt arrived dirty and was fully refunded, which I appreciated. However, the remaining issues were handled inconsistently.
A long-sleeve shirt I paid for (not a free giveaway) was delivered two sizes larger than ordered, making it completely unusable. For this item, I was only offered a partial refund, which felt unreasonable given that the mistake was clearly on the seller’s side.
Another “imperfect” T-shirt contained around eight visible holes in a prominent area, far beyond what most customers would reasonably understand as “minor imperfections.”
Customer service was polite but ultimately inflexible. I was told that return shipping labels cannot be generated for international orders, meaning I would have had to cover return shipping costs myself for items that were incorrectly or defectively shipped. As a result, I had no real option other than accepting a partial refund — even though the original purchase commitment, including the Black Friday offer, was not fully honored.
Overall, while the products themselves can be excellent, the quality control and international customer support were disappointing. I would strongly recommend improving fulfillment accuracy and offering fair, consistent solutions when mistakes happen — especially for international customers.
Won't be ordering again
Ordered an item back in November thinking I was being ahead of the game. Big mistake. Package got stuck in shipping limbo and basically disappeared. Reached out to the company and they told me once it ships, its "not their problem" and I'd have to deal with the carrier myself. No items, still no refund
Ordered two items early November, neither arrived. Damaged in transit. When I reported it, I was informed they weren't responsible for items damaged in transit. Well, I certainly wasn't. When I questioned it, they said they'd refund or replace when the claim was reimbursed. I said I wasn't interested in a replacement if they weren't responsible if it was lost or damaged, and I wanted a refund. 10 days after the claim was reimbursed by the carrier, I still haven't been refunded.

Terrible! Will never be purchasing from them again. Terrible customer service.
Wonky sizing, no returns/exchanges
I wanted the sort of thin, lightweight bras this company sells, so I didn’t mind their flimsiness. However, their sizing is wonky. I had to order a couple sizes to figure out which one fit - it ended up being an XL instead of my usual M. But a year later when I ordered more XL’s, their sizing had changed and the bras were too large. They do not accept returns or exchanges on bras, so I won’t order from them again, having no idea what size to order. I emailed them and asked for an exception to their exchange rule, but they said no.
Absolute waste of money
Absolute waste of money, 2nd time I have bought gym pants, rubbish. Elastic waist non existent, after couple of washes you would need braces to keep them up. Don't waste your money. Rubbish, guess where they are made? Unfortunately I can't give a 0 review!

I placed an order for two pairs of summer shoes. The order took three weeks to arrive in Italy, but so far so good. When the package arrived the contents were wrong, it contained random underwear. Customer service then asked me if I wanted a refund or a new shipment, and I asked for a new shipment. Disappeared. After a few more days I then asked for a refund which promptly arrived but was only for the product and not for the shipping (16.50 eur). So I waited three weeks for a package, other days for a response, and I lost 16 euros. Never again.

Buy here if you like see-through bathing suits
This company sold me a white bathing suit that was completely see-through—something nowhere in the product description. When I reached out, they simply pointed to their final sale policy: “This item is explicitly advertised and sold as final sale. Final sale items are not eligible for return and/or exchange.”
If the listing had been transparent about both the final sale status and the fact that the suit was see-through, I could’ve made an informed choice.
I didn’t. I won’t be shopping here again.

They cancel your orders with no explanation as to why
I have placed two separate orders that were immediately canceled by them via an email that said "cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances." I have received no reply to my emails about why this has happened or how to remedy the situation.
LA Apparel sent me a used, broken watch
Here’s the email I just sent to this sham company:
I just received my Casio Ani-Digi Watch. I am going to need to return it as soon as possible and receive a refund because it does not work and appears to be used.
The A, B, and C buttons do not produce any change in the watch’s functions in the manner that the Casio manual says they should. The watch is set one hour ahead of the actual time and there is no way to change it. Additionally, there is no way to access the alarm function because the buttons do not change the mode when you press them.
Additionally, the watch appears to be used. There are obvious spots of dirt or skin on the inside of the watch band. This tells me that someone else wore the watch, discovered it didn’t work, and returned it. Despite this, you sold it to me. I will include photos and video that back this up.
This is hugely disappointing. Please immediately refund my purchase and provide a return label so I can mail back this busted, used watch

So i ordered 1,5 weeks ago and my order just arrived (i live in Germany so it takes a bit more time)
The products are great quality (like it was with American Apparel before) and i‘m really happy about it.
They are a bit more expensive than H&M or Zara, but they produce in the US, so i‘m glad to pay more but don’t support child labour or whatever.
