Everything was good
Everything was good. The staff working here are fantastic, the place is good and clean and my room is beautiful. However it is very hot on the top floor and need air conditioning! Be very careful they steal the deposits. They never refund it.
They do not refund the deposit. After months of emailing and complaining and calling I still have not received the deposit. It seems I am not the only one, I can see many people in Truspilot have the same issue. They steal the deposits. When they receive a bad opinion in Trustpilot they reply pretending they are really taking care of the customer asking you to email them, it is all BS they do not reply to the emails. When you call them, they pass the call from one person to another saying they will connect you to the right person until the call is disconnected. What they do is stealing. Here they go again, their reply is the same BS as usual, after they told me the deposit will be done, they have been fooling me for months.

Poor after care
The process is ok but the after service is poor. My son is in student accomodation and paid for kitchen appliances (kettle, pans, plates etc) but none have arrived for 48 hours. The responses are all AI and no one cares once they have the money off you.
So it’s a good way of finding accomodation which is pretty decent but beware if there are any problems. Once they have your money they seem not to care..no one has called, it’s all AI on WhatsApp

Room for Improvement
The staff members are friendly, but I am currently staying in my first accommodation, which is a university residence. When I moved in, my room had not been properly cleaned. There were used towels, dirty bed sheets, and a stained duvet cover. In addition, the bathroom, especially the toilet, was not cleaned properly.
We also have a shared kitchen, but there are items left behind by previous tenants that have still not been removed or cleaned. The corridors are not kept clean either, and there seems to be a lack of proper maintenance and organization in the common areas.
My current accommodation is at iQ Sterling Court on Lakeside Way.

I had terrible experience
I had terrible experience, I have notified your representative so many times that I will be arriving early on Friday as my flight in the morning, and she confirmed that all will be ready upon arrival, unfortunately I arrived around 10:00 am after 9 hours flight and when I arrived my room was not ready and I had to wait for 2 hours unitl the guy cleaned the room, even after cleaning it was full of dust, smells bad and not really ready, the room was also facing the railway track, so the noise way unbeatable, I could not study , do any meetings or sleep, so I was spending most of my time outside to do my university tasks, further more as the weather was so hot, I have to open the window which was also on the top of infrastructure work at the entrance which start early morning and finish late! I have zero rest and was all time tired.
I have called the cleaning team and was promised to have another complementary cleaning as a compensation for this, I left the room for 3 days as I was out of the town for a visit to my friend, I called the cleaning team and was assured that all will be ready upon arrival , and again nothing was done, unfortunately all what I heard was false promises,
I have raised all these issue and was informed that will be solved, and nothing was solved at all!!
The horrible thing that you ask me to pay the full amount in advance and you provide zero service. This is not my first time to book with you, I booked before in Lewisham area, but you have failed totally to provide any basic and adequate service.

£6000 refund NOT issued
I would NOT recommend this accommodation if you ever need to deal with their refund process.
I booked a bronze studio for summer stay for £6000+ in total.
I submitted my cancellation request well in advance in early April for a booking due to start at the end of May. I NEVER checked into or occupied the room.
The accommodation team acknowledged my refund request, but it took over a month to receive any meaningful update. I was later informed that my refund would be processed on 29 May.
However, after the promised date passed, I received neither the refund nor any further communication. I had to repeatedly follow up myself to ask for updates on the status of the payment.
Overall, the communication and refund process has been significantly disappointing.

They do not return the deposit
I lived there for three months. It’s been two months since I moved out, and even though I’ve sent several emails asking for my security deposit back, they haven’t refunded it, nor have they responded to my emails.
Besides, the room was very dirty when we arrived. I spent three days cleaning it, and we left the room in much better condition than we found it.

Firstly booking with Londonist is easy…
Firstly booking with Londonist is easy and anyone is pretty capable to do so but as soon as you’re booked in and are in your accommodation, they never respond to emails, if you call them you get given several different numbers and no one is very helpful. I arrived to a disgusting room that had a smell which lingered, the room was disgusting and i was very upset with the experience and how i was treated. The floor in my room was actual the cause of the smell which they ripped up after a 5 days. Only due to the student vita receptionist helping me through this. Never book with londonist, the refund is the most difficult process and they dotn even tell you that you have to request it. Honestly the worst experience i have ever had.
