Khawaja of Londonnist the best!
Khawaja from Londonnist was such a great help in looking for the best accommodation for my daughter who is going to stay only for a semester and this made the search a challenge. Khawaja suggested the right places, in the budget, area we indicated. He arranged viewings and always replied kindly and precisely. I definitely recommend him!!

I had a very positive experience with Londonist. The whole process was straightforward, professional, and much easier than I expected. Communication was clear, my questions were answered quickly, and I felt well supported while arranging my accommodation.
A special thank you to Muskan, who was particularly helpful throughout the process. She was responsive, patient, professional, and took the time to make sure everything was clear and that I found an option that suited my needs.
Overall, excellent service from Londonist, and I especially appreciate Muskan’s support. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience, poor maintenance and service
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Londonist over the past two months, especially considering how much they charge for the accommodation. The breakfast facilities were consistently poor. On many mornings, breakfast was either unavailable or not properly set up until around 8:30 AM. Even basic items such as spoons and other essentials were frequently missing. For accommodation at this price point, I expected much better.
Maintenance was an even bigger issue. My air conditioning was broken for more than seven days without a proper resolution. Maintenance requests took far too long, communication was extremely poor, and I often had to follow up repeatedly just to get a response. The condition of the bathroom when I received the room was also unacceptable, including a clogged basin that should have been addressed before check-in.
The overall facilities also did not justify the amount being charged. Even fairly basic amenities were lacking, and the level of service simply did not match the price.
What frustrated me most was the lack of responsiveness when something went wrong. Based on my experience over these two months, I would not recommend Londonist. I strongly suggest prospective residents look carefully at other options before booking, particularly if responsive maintenance, reliable facilities, and value for money are important to you.

There was a technical issue with my booking that was rather frustrating, which is the reason I am leaving a 4-star review. However, the person that helped me, Muskan, was very helpful all throughout and left me with the impression she cared about my troubles, and were there a separate section I would have given her 5 stars. In the end, she did her best to mitigate the technical problem that had occurred and kept me informed throughout the process.

Deposit refund issue and Lack of Communication.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Londonist DMC.
I checked out around five months ago and I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Since checking out, I have made multiple attempts to contact the company regarding the issue, including contacting my last agent, Derin, but I have not received a proper response or resolution.
Five months is an unreasonable amount of time to be waiting for a deposit, especially after repeatedly trying to get an update. The lack of communication has made the situation even more frustrating.
I would strongly encourage Londonist DMC to resolve this matter and return my outstanding deposit as soon as possible.

Disorganised Process + Bad Attitude from customer service +
Please book directly with the accommodation. Do not book with londonist.
I booked two short stays. One at Kings cross Chapter and one at London bridge Chapter.
For london bridge, I was held up at checkin for hours. Londonist had not assigned a room to me. All my calls were ignored. They did not even respond to the chapter reception's calls.
The customer service reps are very very rude and condescending. I called to request for an early-check in. Its understandable if the request is not possible but the person who answered my call spoke to me in an EXTREMELY disrespectful way.
I am currently waiting for my security deposit refund, and will update how that goes.
The booking process is itself easy, and my rooms were relatively clean, but with the horrible customer support I would not recommend. I recommend you book with Chapters directly, the accom itself is lovely and so is the Chapters staff.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Londonist Paddington Citi View location. The building is just a minute away from Paddington Station, making travel around London extremely easy. I booked accommodation through them for the summer. The management and service was very bad. My kitchen was infested with insects for half my tenancy. When I reached out to them, I got ghosted. Above all, they are not letting me get my deposit back.

We would like to clarify that we offered a special short-let promotion over the summer with a deposit-only, no-security-deposit policy. Under this arrangement, the £250 payment was treated as advance rent and therefore does not qualify for a long-term tenancy deposit refund.
Regarding the kitchen concern, we can confirm that we received an email from you on 7 July regarding this matter. At the time, our team also requested proof of the reported issue so that it could be properly reviewed and the appropriate assistance could be provided. Our records do not show any further correspondence or support ticket raised regarding the kitchen after the initial email.
We value your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We will continue to consider student feedback as we work to improve the services and support we provide.
