Great experience booking with the Londonist
Had a great experience booking Chapters white city residence with the Londonist. My agent was Khaled Matad and he was extremely helpful throughout the process. I was quite skeptical at first because I made the booking from India and wasn’t quite sure whether they’re a legitimate company or not, but their team was extremely helpful throughout and they do have good deals on short term accommodation stays.

I had a very bad experience with this…
I had a very bad experience with this accommodation.
The management and staff are unprofessional and unhelpful, and the overall attitude is disrespectful.
The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, which is completely unacceptable.
I also faced a serious issue with a parcel collection. The courier came to collect my shipment, but the reception refused to hand it over, causing unnecessary delays and financial stress.
In particular, a staff member named Marwan was extremely uncooperative and handled the situation in a very unprofessional manner.
I do not recommend dealing with Marwan.
Based on my experience, I do not recommend this place to anyone, whether for accommodation or for dealing with the management.

Where is my deposit refund?
I booked through Londonist for a two-month stay in London. Long story short--please don't book through them. The management is a pure nightmare. It takes literally forever for Londonist to respond to issues that came up during your stay--no response through emails, text portal and whatsapp messages only lead to standard responses by AI bot. Plus, it's been more than two months since I checked out and submitted my deposit refund request, but I still have not received my money back. I will never book through them again.

My experience with Londonist has been extremely disappointing, mainly due to the unacceptable condition in which the room was delivered.
Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or prepared for a new resident. There was hair throughout the room, dust and grime on surfaces, and food residue left in and around the sink. In several areas, there were old and unpleasant stains, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance and inspection.
Most concerning, there were visible signs of mold in the room, which is particularly alarming in student accommodation. This, combined with a strong and unpleasant smell, created an unhealthy and uncomfortable living environment from the moment I moved in.
Beyond hygiene issues, the room was in very poor physical condition. The furniture was old, heavily worn, and visibly damaged. Multiple drawers were mechanically defective, with no drawer rails installed, making them difficult or impossible to use properly. These are not cosmetic problems but issues that directly affect basic daily living.
When I raised these concerns, communication was slow and frustrating. Emails and calls often went unanswered, and responsibility was ultimately denied, with reliance placed on general disclaimers rather than addressing the actual condition in which the room was handed over.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise prospective students to avoid booking with Londonist and avoid staying in their accommodations. Do not rely on advertised standards or assurances — what is delivered may be very different from what is promised.

I had a really smooth experience arranging my student accommodation through Londonist. Thakur was especially helpful throughout the process - very responsive, clear with explanations, and patient with all my questions. He made what can be a fairly stressful process feel straightforward and well organised.

La estancia estuvo bien pero NO me han devuelto el depósito tras más de 6 semanas, no contestan e-mails, ni llamadas. Soporte solo te abre tickets de demanda que nunca nadie contesta. LADRONES!!! NO RESERVÉIS CON ELLOS.

Actualización: después de reclamar por WhatsApp, e-mail, llamar por teléfono, por el soporte de la app y de la web y nunca recibir respuesta durante largas semanas, tras poner malas reseñas por Internet es cuando por fin dieron señales, solo le preocupa su imagen pero la realidad es que para venderte la habitación son muy rápidos y para devolverte el dinero ha tardado 2 meses y he tenido que insistir mucho y llegar a este punto.
No recomiendo para nada la experiencia, habitaciones pequeñas, carísimas y luego tienen una atención al cliente pésima.
Ahora que por fin me lo han devuelto se preocupan de venir aquí a contestar a la opinión en Trust Pilot para no tener una mala imagen pero habéis estado 2 meses sin darme ninguna respuesta.

Sanbir has been very patient and helpful with me. I was able to find a room within my budget and get it booked and sorted. There was a fee I wasn’t expecting however this was beyond Londonist’s control and came from Unite Students. I really appreciate Sanbir’s help with answering all my queries and getting back to me quickly.
