Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!
Now with a team of over 400 people, we’re proud to have established ourselves as a go-to destination for cupcakes and celebration cakes.

We ordered the chocolate heaven cake for my son’s bday. It was a fresh, good quality and delicious cake. Nicely done with our personalised message and safely packaged in this hot weather. We always enjoy Lola’s cupackes, not only us but our guests too! Such a treat!

The Tramisu cake was very offensive
The Tramisu cake was very offensive. An absolute waste of £7.00. I’ve bought cakes from Lola’s for year and this was very disappointing. I’ve had this dessert made in Italy & had it from several restaurants & supermarkets. This is disguising. The sponge fingers are suppose to be soaked in coffee not dry. The cream is vile. I’ve taken this long to send my review because I was extremely upset.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the Tiramisu Layers dessert.
I am truly sorry to hear that your experience was so disappointing, with this particular dessert.
The Layers are inspired by the original tiramisu dessert and not the exact Tiramisu desert, hence some differences you've noticed. The top layer of cream is made with vanilla white chocolate ganache and mascarpne icing, unlike the light cream in the original tiramisu dessert.
We do appreciate your feedback and will pass it onto the relevant teams to review and take into consideration for the future.

Delicious Victoria Sponge

I’ve only given two stars as the…
I’ve only given two stars as the football decorations were lovely. The chocolate cake itself was awful. It was far too dry, which was a huge disappointment as we were celebrating my son’s 11th birthday and he wanted a football themed cake. At £57 I would have been better off purchasing a lovely Marks and Spencer chocolate cake at a fraction of the price. Unfortunately, Lola’s disappointed us and was not worth the money.

Cute cake but buttercream flavour error?
Cake looked very cute and prefect for what I wanted. However the buttercream just tasted like pure butter as if the flavouring had been forgotten. Very disappointing!!

This icing on the cake is an American style buttercream icing using butter and sugar to make a sweet and smooth icing.

The cake was lovely and very special to…
The cake was lovely and very special to me as it was for my one-year-old’s birthday. I was really happy and excited to collect it, but I felt a bit disappointed by the service. The lady who served me didn’t smile or greet me, and the interaction felt unfriendly. As someone who works in customer service, I couldn’t help but feel slightly judged, which took away from what should have been a joyful moment.
