Purchased a banana dessert pot which was delicious. Fresh bananas, soft sponge and sweet caramel all presented in a decent size pot. Will definitely be buying this again!!!

Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

We used Lola's cupcakes for our wedding…
We used Lola's cupcakes for our wedding cake and were delighted with it! We went with the pastel macaron sage two tier cake and what we received was true to the images online, it looked stunning and tasted even better. The only thing I'd note was the jam filling in the wedding cake wasn't as much as I'd expected especially given how much filling was in the tester we purchased from the wedding taster set, although it was lovely nonetheless and I would definitely buy from them again!

Delicious and great value
Had ordered a naked victoria sponge with buttercream and fresh berries. It was supposed to serve up to 18 - it definitely served more and was absolutely delicious. Ordering easy and was very good value. Would definitely use them again.

Delicious birthday cake!
I ordered a birthday cake for my son’s birthday from the Disney range. The cake was a huge hit! My son loved it, the decorations were fantastic and everyone commented on how great it looked. It tasted delicious and a perfect size for the number of people we had. So easy picking up from my local shopping centre too.

Great service however giving 3 stars…
Great service however giving 3 stars because we didn’t enjoy the birthday cake this time. Love Lola’s cupcakes and cakes generally, however found the velvet cake to be very sweet this time. Couldn’t consume it cos it was way too sweet. Had to bin half of it.

I am so sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent order.
I can see this was Vintage Heart Doodle Cake, which unlike our classic Red Velvet cake is decorated with a buttercream icing.
This is our sweetest icing option, and may be too sweet for some.
I would recommend in the future our classic Red Velvet cake which is made with cream cheese icing and not as sweet as the buttercream.

Easy checkout and collection
Easy checkout and collection, even after I had to change my collection point! They make sure everything is correct with the cake before handover and they’re super friendly. Been purchasing from Lolas’s for years and have never had an issue, hands down the best bakery out there

Amazing cake
Amazing cake! Tasted so good and looked so pretty. People said it was more of decorative cake however i dont agree, we had more than 20+ guests and it was more than enough, the decoration on top made the cake look amazing! Love it and definitely recommend. Staff were lovely and delivery to store was prompt!
