Lodge Brothers are an independent, employee owned funeral service. 7 generations of our family have been helping local families in their time of need. For 240 years we have provided funerals, both modern & traditional, with reverence and compassion, for all faiths and the non-religious. We can facilitate cremations, burials, direct cremations and remembrance services. We bring our Lodge difference to every service offered including our own legal team (providing wills, probate and lasting POAs) and our highly skilled masons providing unique memorials, inscriptions and design work. We have a dedicated Funeral Plan Team who can help with planning for the future with a funeral plan or funeral wishes. We also supply floral tributes, Orders of Service, cremation urns and keepsake jewellery.

Kind, efficient and compassionate service
From the first call, Shobha guided us through the process in a compassionate, kind and caring way. We found her to be a warm and reassuring presence at a very difficult time. Chris, the celebrant, was equally efficient, kind and understanding. We had so many compliments about how beautiful the service was, in no small measure due to Chris’ organisation, input and delivery.

Exactly the funeral we wanted.
Shobha guided me through the whole funeral process for my husband with consideration and great kindness. She quickly gauged the sort of farewell we wanted to give him and made suggestions and recommendations that matched our wishes. Nothing felt rushed and when we requested a few changes to the plan she accommodated them without any difficulty. Her availability was excellent. The celebrant, Joanna, supported us throughout in the same manner as Shobha. And thanks are also due to the Funeral manager, who supported us on the day, and to the florist for the beautiful fresh flowers, which again reflected just the effect we wanted to achieve. The funeral was exactly what we wanted and went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Lodge Bros.

The funeral was exactly what we wanted
The funeral was tailored to our exact needs. Being able to use the Chapel at the Woking Branch for the service allowed for a relaxed atmosphere and then to have the refreshments at the same place gave us all time to socialise without feeling at all rushed. The staff are all caring and courteous. As a family we have always used Boutells / Lodge Bros and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Joint Funeral
We had a joint funeral, so a number of family members were involved in the arrangements. Susan managed us all with so much kindness and compassion. She gently pulled us and all the arrangements together into a beautiful service. Huge thanks to the team on the day, in particular Darren who carried us through wonderfully.
