Very caring staff and nothing was too much trouble

Really helpful and sympathetic from the moment they collected my husband from the hospice right through to the funeral itself. Couldn't have asked for better.

All the staff are truly caring professionals. They looked after us and carried out all our wishes. It made saying goodbye to our Mother so much easier.

Susan in thr woking office was polite, attentive and respectful. She returned calls and emails promptly and made sure we had thought of everything. She was especially patient with all the to-ing and fro-ing about the order of service, and we felt the final document was spot on. Thank you, also, to the design team. And to Daniel and his pallbearers. They were sensitive to the needs of the family who wanted to help carry the coffin on the day, and they stepped in where they needed help. Daniel stayed in touch by phone and checked we all knew what we were doing. The financial side of things was clear and there were no hidden extras. They liaised with the church and the crem for us which made the whole process smooth and unstressful. Susan helped us for the Funerals of both my parents. I would highly recommend her and Lodge Brothers to others who may be needing to walk through funeral planning and undertaking services. Thank you!

From the beginning we were impressed with Lodge Brothers professionalism, they listened to our wishes and made sure we were happy with all of the arrangements respecting our feelings always. Alison was lovely to work with and went out of her way to make the funeral run smoothly. The funeral was a wonderful send off and goodbye to our son David. I would also like to thank Father Julius who conducted the service.

Your team was kind and thoughtful. Rob in Ham was kind and did check I was okay. I found the brochure and all the things you could add overwhelming and a bit anxiety inducing - maybe they could be separated out and given if requested?

I cannot recommend Lodge Brothers, Ascot more highly. We have just had the most beautiful funeral for my mother. It was everything we had hoped for, with all the arrangements carried out so thoughtfully and tastefully, and with great care and support throughout.

Hayley and Di are lovely, genuine and deeply kind people. Spending time talking through the arrangements was such a positive and comforting experience for me. Hayley then worked incredibly hard to make sure everything was in place for the funeral and that our wishes were followed to the letter. Everything went so smoothly that I didn’t have to worry at any stage. I felt reassured and gently supported every step of the way.

I fell ill just before the funeral and did not want to change the date. The response I received from the office was extraordinarily helpful and kind. Di arranged live-streaming for me at very short notice, without any fuss or delay. I really cannot thank you enough for this. James, on the day, was really good too.

The whole experience has left us feeling that we were able to give my mother, who will be so greatly missed, a truly wonderful goodbye. A huge thank you to the whole team at Lodge Brothers for helping us create such a comforting and meaningful farewell. It has meant the world to us.

Could not have been more impressed with Lodge Brothers. So professional, kind and responsive. It is a very difficult time dealing with grief, but the team at Lodge Brothers really get it and know how to support and help you navigate through all the challenges organising a funeral surfaces.

This was a brilliant experience in spite of the sad circumstances. Berenice helped us every step of the way and was so kind. There was no point when I felt lost or alone. The funeral was beautifully carried out and Naomi the celebrant was wonderful. The care we received made our loss bearable and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. First class service: Courteous, kind and professional with great attention to detail and the wishes of the family.

We used Lodge bros because the family had used them previously. We found them to professional and sympathetic. We purchased a funeral plan for mum a year or more before her passing and also purchased a new memorial for the shared plot. Mum's funeral went smoothly and the memorial was put in place in 5 months, well within the 12 month allotted timescale. The memorial was exactly what we wanted and visitors have said how good it looks.
