1st Defence Locksmiths Leeds Anmeldelser

Called 1st Defence as we had a 20+ year old lock starting to fail. Spoke with Ben who was really friendly, no pressure and gave an approximate quote based on what details I gave him. Got booked for a slot the day after which was great as the rest of the week would have been a struggle.
Lock has been replaced, was swapped out pretty quickly and the chap that came to replace it not only cleaned up after himself but also had me test the keys before he left so we were both happy that everything was okay before he left, bonus as came in about £15 cheaper than discussed.
Definitely recommend, no hard sell, works around you and has done a great job.

This company is highly recommended. Ben came out quickly to sort out an issue with a lock on my elderly mum’s front door. He replaced it quickly and efficiently, plus offered advice as my mum doesn’t have a lot of strength in her hands and recommended a device that goes on the key to help in this kind of situation. Top class service 👍

Ben was friendly, on time, and explained the issue and the solution clearly. He suggested future options, providing good advice and without pushing for a decision on the doorstep. I would recommend Ben and 1st Defence to anyone who needs a good locksmith.

Mark arrived promptly, was professional and friendly. Mark established that the existing lock mechanism could be adjusted thereby saving us money not to have to pay for a new lock. Mark adjusted the lock mechanism and it worked perfectly. Would recommend.

Ben from first defence was super helpful when I needed my external locks changing. His pricing was fair and gave me an invoice with a costs breakdown. He helped me choose the best locks for my budget and was really knowledgable. He tidied up as he worked on the job and kept me updated about some of the more tricky doors that needed some realignment. Would 100% recommend.

Ben did a great job. He replaced all the window locks in my mums house. He was quick and efficient. I have used this company previously for replacement door locks. Very reliable and trustworthy and they always do a good job.

First class, professional, prompt. I needed a lock replacing on a upvc door after a house key was stolen. They were here within 2hrs and replaced it swiftly at a very competitive cost. Thank you guys. 🔑👍🏻

Ben from 1st Defence is absolutely fantastic- he's very responsive and does exactly what he promises to do. He's a find!

Ben attended my property and undertook several lock changes within one visit. Very professional and quick with the work. Went above and beyond to provide advice on locks and great service.

He camd out very quickly after i called and talked me through every step. He was very up front about pricing and didnt rush the job explaining all my options. Would use again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent service provided by 1st Defence when we had two external doors that were sticking/not opening properly. Ben explained clearly on the telephone the process and likely costs. Mark then turned up on time to investigate and to do the required work. Mark was friendly, thorough and professional throughout and explained the options and provided costs before commencing the required repair/replacement work. Best of all the problems were resolved and we now have two working locks and doors again! Based on this experience we would not hesitate to use 1st Defence again.

Great work from Ben, was very prompt replying to our initial request of help, (even though it was a Sunday night) came next day - the work was carried out to a high standard, Ben eas very knowledgable explaining everything he did and why etc .. would definitely recommend Ben to family & friends.

Great service !!!

My front door failed to unlock and open so I searched for a locksmith and found 1st Defence Locksmiths Leeds and gave them a call. They booked me in and arrived at the designated time and promptly repaired the problematic door. The thing I liked was the explanation of how the repair was going to be carried out and what had caused the problem which I found very useful. The customer service from this company was excellent and I would definitely use them again if I had any further problems.

Ben was friendly and professional. Explained the mechanisms behind my dodgy patio door locks and talked me through all the possible solutions. Made an easy job of getting a snapped key out of the lock too. Price as quoted. Excellent!

Ben was really helpful. His willingness to help resolve a tricky situation was great and he did the work in a professional and friendly manner.
