Dr Emma was lovely and the facilities are modern and fresh, but sadly my experience with the administration and billing process was disappointing.
I was told my BUPA policy would cover both the consultation and cryotherapy treatment, yet I was later charged an additional £103 without this being clearly explained beforehand.
To make matters worse, I later discovered an email in my spam folder threatening debt collection action over an alleged outstanding balance of just £43.60. Given that the clinic had my home address, a formal letter would have been better.
A friend of mine also had a similar experience, believing treatment would be covered by BUPA only to later discover additional costs after providing payment details.
Overall, the impression was very much “take payment first, explain later,” which left me feeling uncomfortable and unable to trust the billing process.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kolovou and did some urgent blood tests and was waiting eagerly for the results as I was in need for urgent answer following the consult. The admin office wouldn’t come back to me with the results even though they were marked urgent. I didn’t have the Dr’s direct email or line and the clinic where I took the blood didn’t have any record of Dr. Kolovou. I was left with no answers no follow up and no test results. After following up via email with the Dr’s admin I was put off multiple times to wait - which seemed like a poor service after paying a fee of private consult and clinic.
I don’t recommend visiting this Dr or using this service. NHS have better turn around and wait time than this provider.

I went to LIPS for an ENT appointment. At the time of the appointment, Dr. Wong offered to perform a small procedure (I believe it was a nasal endoscopy but I’m not sure) which took about 5-10 mins. When I inquired as to the cost (as one does because private medical is very costly), he said somewhere in the £150-200 range and I said OK. At the end of the appointment, we settled the price at £495 at the Lips front desk, the initial consultation fee along with the cost of the additional procedure and I paid this the day of the appointment in July 2025 which I confirmed with the Lips team before leaving the office, no mention of additional costs pending. Feb 2026 (7 MONTHS LATER) I am receiving notice of another £510 facility fee. I expressed my confusion to both Lips and Dr. Wongs team as this was never disclosed to me as an additional cost at the time of the appointment and I am only now alerted to this cost in writing 7 months after my appointment. Had I been notified of a facility fee in addition to the procedure cost I already paid of £495, I would have never agreed to the procedure or even the appointment. Once I spoke to different teams to try to fully understand, I paid the invoice timely. After speaking to their complaints team, I found out I was referred to a debt collector agency because of THEIR system error which took 7 months to process the invoice. The only resolution they could offer me is an apology. Now I have to worry about this affecting credit and other good standing in the future. I feel very mislead and incredibly upset. I feel they were not cost transparent at all which is so necessary when so many medical facilities can be so predatory towards scared individuals seeking help and assurance. Although the facility is new and sparkly clean, I would not trust this healthcare center and am so disappointed and appalled by my experience.

After making contact with Dr Brent I promptly received email confirmation of a date and time for my appointment. I thought the pre symptom questionnaire and upload of photos was a great idea, capturing the nature of my condition. Communication is so important when having hospital appointments and the prompt GP letter facilitated a prescription and fast medication.
Dr Brent is a fabulous Dermatologist who is friendly and gentle and you feel in safe hands. I highly recommend him and the Lips healthcare service.

After waiting 3 years for answers elsewhere, I finally got a diagnosis in my first consultation here. The neurologist was very kind and professional. He explained everything in detail, started my treatment immediately, and even ordered preventative exams to be safe. I’m very grateful for the excellent care and finally having a clear path forward

I recently underwent a major orthopedic operation at The London Independent Hospital to repair a complex fracture in the knee, and I truly cannot fault the experience. From start to finish, the process was seamless.
As someone who has never had a major operation before, I was quite anxious, but the admission process was incredibly smooth and organized.
My consultant, Mr. Steven Millington, the anaesthetist and the entire theatre were extremely caring, reassuring, and accommodating. They took the time to explain the procedure and the recovery plan, making me feel supported at a very vulnerable stage in my life.
The post-operative nursing staff (including Priya and the HCA on overnight) were outstanding. Throughout the night, they checked on me regularly and were incredibly attentive and ensured my pain was well managed. No request was too small for them, and their kindness was a huge comfort while I was strictly non-weight bearing and immobile. From the chef/kitchen team to the pharmacist Joyce - the team went above and beyond to ensure I was well cared for.
Overall, this is a fantastic hospital with a truly professional and kind workforce. I would gladly return if needed and highly recommend them to anyone facing surgery.
