Just wanted to say a big thank you for the cake for my girlfriend’s 30th — it was absolutely perfect. It looked so pretty and exactly what we had in mind. You nailed the design, and it tasted amazing too. Everyone was commenting on it! Really appreciate all the effort that went into it.

A big thank you to all involved in our order. The cupcakes were a very high-standard, and quality finished, it really made the student's graduation that bit more special. They literally went 'ooooooo' when we opened the boxes! All the staff were so helpful during ordering, and delivery smooth too. A perfect order from start to finish, very impressed, and know where to come for cakes in the future!

We’re so grateful to the team for creating our wedding cake at such short notice. They took it on without hesitation and made everything happen so seamlessly. The cake looked lovely on the day, was beautifully fresh and delicious, and it even kept perfectly for days afterwards.

Liggy's made our wedding cake and it was really really nice, really fresh. We went for a tiered cake, one was vanilla and one was lemon. The lemon was light and zingy. The cake was delivered on time and looked amazing. It also tasted really great! I'd have no hesitation in using them again.

We hired Liggy's Cakes for our wedding back in August. We ordered online and whenever we had any questions or needed to get in contact they were always incredibly pleasant and quickly answered the phone or any emails we sent.
We discussed them sending a particular flavour with the sample box in the middle of the week and they made sure it was sent out on the Friday that same week.
All the sample flavours were fantastic and the wedding cake itself was absolutely spectacular in look and taste! We were so pleased to have leftovers so we could continue to have cake for the next few days after the wedding. Would definitely order another cake from them.

We had our wedding cake made by the fantastic team at Liggy's Cake Company and can't recommend them enough.

We eloped in Edinburgh from the East Midlands and we're worried the distance would cause a problem, but the team were so helpful via email and online calls, it made everything stress free.

We did a cake testing session in April last year and all the flavours were scrumptious. We were given drawings for the idea of the cake and on the day, it turned out more perfectly than we could have imagined.

Liggy's Cakes made our wedding cake and a 50th wedding anniversary cake for our parents for our wedding at the National Museum of Scotland. They were very friendly, patient and made exactly what we asked for. The cake designer was brilliant and made some excellent suggestions. We had a delightful time having a cake tasting session in their Edinburgh shop. They delivered the cakes on time despite the surprise snow storm. The prices were wonderful for such beautifully crafted and delicious cakes. All our guests commented on how delicious the cakes were. Definitely recommend Liggy's Cakes for all occasions but especially weddings where the cake is such a huge part of the day and usually a stressful process to find a good baker. Liggy's Cakes is the creme de la creme of baking!!

We ordered a birthday cake for the 18th birthday of my daughter. Liggy´s delivered it to a restaurant where we celebrated the birthday. It was really exceptional. Very beautiful, perfectly baked and wonderful decorated. The taste was also really great (we choose chocolate filling). Conclusion: Everybody was happy! A big thanks to Liggy´s team!!!!

We got our wedding cake from Liggy's in Edinburgh and it was honestly the best cake we ever had. We went to a few different cake places in and around Edinburgh and they were all telling us they can't get the perfect white colour for the buttercream. Liggy's sure could and they were so nice and helpful. The cake was delicious and moist and the buttercream was to die for.

We ordered our wedding cake from Liggy's Cake and could not be happier! The staff were incredible and the process was seamless from start to finish. The cake was absolutely beautiful and the strawberry/prosecco flavour was delicious. All our guests were going back for seconds! Could not recommend them enough.

Excellent product and customer experience. The team made lemon cupcakes for my daughter’s 16th birthday - with an icing disc on each containing 16 headshots of my daughter from every year of her life. My daughter said it was the best present ever and it made us all very happy and emotional at the party, with great conversations reminiscing about when the different photos were taken. Beyond the look, they tasted delicious: simple, just right in the amount of lemon flavour, light and not sickly sweet. And beyond that, the customer service was first class: quick responses to my order, care taken in preparing the photos, a phone call to remind me about pick up, and a smile on collection. An all-round great experience and I will definitely use them again. I think they could make a new product suggestion for these kinds of “one for each year” boxes. Thank you to Liggy’s for a great experience.

Amanda, Bryony and the team at Liggy’s Cakes made a beautiful cake for our wedding, which was enjoyed and complimented by everybody! The team was so friendly in their interactions with us, on the phone and by email. Their website made it very easy to browse a variety of cakes and to choose the flavours we wanted for each tier. The cake was delivered to the venue on the morning of our wedding, without us needing to worry about anything. The cake and monogram were beautifully and neatly made, and tasted delicious! We can highly recommend Liggy’s Cakes to anyone looking for a cake for their wedding.

Liggy’s made our cake for our wedding in April, it looked and tasted amazing. The tasting was superb and very easy to do with lots of delicious options available and plenty that satisfied dietary requests of many of your guests. THE tastiest and freshest cake I’ve had. I ordered a bespoke cake for my husband’s birthday and the decoration was exceptionally well done with a thistle, then a St Andrew’s Cross and repeated all the way round. It had his age and name in the middle which was beautifully piped. It looked magnificent. But the taste was exquisite! Everyone at the party mentioned how delicious it was. So fresh and moist, it really was excellent. Welllll done Liggy’s.

Liggy's made our cake for our wedding in October, it looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better!

We went for a tasting before the wedding at the Edinburgh shop, the staff were lovely and it was a fab way to spend an afternoon, all the flavours we tried were delicious!

On our wedding day, we had a lot of comments on how great the cake looked, especially little Lexi, it was the perfect tribute to our beloved dog. I almost cried why i saw it!

Also, the flavours we chose were delicious, thankfully the duty manager at the Norton made sure we had 2 slices of each flavour put aside, as the rest of the cake seemed to disappear so fast! Everybody loved it!

Cake was incredibly dry and stale when eating on day of pick up. This was the second cake that was stale and dry from liggy's (previous one in January was the same), very sparse jam filling in both cakes, cupcakes purchased in addition were not as advertised on website, very disappointing. For the money spent on these items (one cake >£100) they were just not worth the money. Will not purchase anything else from liggy's, not worth spending hard earned money on cake that has to be thrown out the day after picking it up.

My entire experience with the Liggy's team was an absolute dream. From my initial enquiry asking whether it was possible to make a specifically designed birthday cake, through to finalising delivery arrangements, communication from Liggy's Cakes was incredibly prompt and the team were extremely helpful.

Thank you for your willingness to try a new design and for the care and the attention to detail you put into the cake. You made a number of Kiwi's very happy!
