Please please please never trust this company. My Mum who is a vulnerable pensioner had booked them to move house. They took her deposit and never turned up for the job. I have been trying to get the deposit back for 3 months and they keep promising me and not sending it.
If you do use this company, please be hesitant in paying a deposit.

They arrived with a 4.5 tonne truck instead of the agreed 6 tonne truck and then we had to negotiate not paying the travel time for the required two trips. This discussion took about 20 minutes as they insisted the truck size wasn't an issue. They did eventually agree as it would have all fit in one 6 tonne truck. They dragged our mattresses across the pavers, damaging the mattress covers and ended up ripping our linoleum when they pushed our fridge in the direction contrary to the wheels causing us to loose $1200 of our bond. When they arrived at our house, after going first to the incorrect address, we had updated the address after being unsuccessful with a previous lease application but their office hadn't updated the system. They refused to unload the last trips furniture until we paid the bill and needless to say they didn't reduce it for the time wasted with the two trips or wasted time going to wrong address. The two removalists were so slovenly it was painful to watch. Same ones as pictured on their website. No invoice was ever supplied and despite several phone calls and emails we have yet to receive a response from them or any compensation for the damage caused. I have now gone to CBS to mediate. I see some good reviews and can only assume they are for their interstate offices because these guys are soooo bad at the job.

Avoid this 'business' at all costs. Issues were numerous. To top it off, they have
continuously missed a payment deadline for a small amount, as agreed by them via moderation between CBS and I. I will now seek the full amount via the small claims tribunal.

Terrible experience! Didn’t show at 9, called and said they would be there at 12, didn’t show at 12, said they would be there at 3. Arrived at 3:30. Wasting almost of the day I had off work to move - even though I prepaid a deposit 1 month earlier for a 9am booking.

The two movers were extremely slow, didn’t like it when I helped carry stuff to the lawn to help. Finally got to the new place which was accessed by an elevator, they would bring up a couple boxes every 30 mins? It was ridiculous- blaming the traffic in the lift. Which would have been avoided if they came at 9am and not 3:30 into peak hour of people coming home from work.

The most upsetting part was damage to an expensive concrete dining table, they denied doing it. Their website says they use blankets ect, I saw it was just balanced on a small sack truck.

When I emailed and contacted management they offered me $100 reimbursement, I wanted to use their insurance since the table was valued at $1400 and their website says they have insurance. I followed up on the $100 and never got it!

I would NEVER use this company! They are deceitful and I don’t believe they have any insurance. The movers are careless and disrespectful.

You are honestly better off just moving your furniture yourself
I had 2 movers come out over 3 weeks ago to help move large furniture while moving my fridge they broke a glass panel in my front door
No apology when it happened they both just walked away
One of them eventually came up to me not to apologies but to tell me itll cost $60 to fix and that they dont normally worry about trying to get this kind of stuff fixed for customers
I told him that it was a rental and I will not be covering the cost of something he broke, there was a lot of back and forth until he finally offered a discount
The discount was not enough to cover damages
I emailed the company to tell them this and after telling them we would file a complaint about the company they finally offered a refund
Its been over 3 weeks still no refund
I sent 3 emails before they finally responded and now Im being ignored again. Its honestly ridiculous how long this is taking. This could have been dealt with already but instead they keep saying they'll process the refund and then never doing it
Dont use these guys go else where

The lads were great to work with
and the price was extremely good value

Terrible company broke our glass in our front door, only gave us a discount of 120 so we could fix it our self the quote to fix is 295 they are trying to fight this saying its not their problem.

Company seems to deny all bad reviews trying to say no proof so no point going through their service centre as they will lie for their workers.

Absolutely useless if I wanted to screw things up id do it myself.

Quick update, they have since offered a further $140 refund which we were happy to accept they asked if once we received the money we would take down this review, that was 2 nearly 3 weeks ago no money has been refunded, they should be ashamed of the scam they are running hope everyone sees these reviews and steers clear.

Booked in for furniture collection at Point A between 9am and 11am. No notification or courtesy call to advise would be running late. Had to ring to find out where they were, told 30 mins away & would definitely be arriving in that time. Had to let people at Point A know movers were very late, but on way. Another hour later I had to call AGAIN to follow up as they were a no show. At this point I was advised collection would not be until 1.15pm. People at Point A needed to change personal plans to then accommodate this new change of time.
Frustrated I sent an email asking if some consideration for reduction on original quoted charge may be offered, given such poor service & so far there no response to email, yet I know it has been read. Not even a token apology email for putting both myself out & the people who needed to rearrange their day & cancel scheduled appointments. Poor form Lift & Shift. Lack of care or concern for your customers. Obviously I paid the originally quoted amount when furniture was finally delivered. No apology from drivers either about their lateness when they finally arrived at either pick up or drop off locations. Seems Lift & Shift have some links with CBD Removalists as that was the truck which was used in the end to deliver? Either way strongly suggest giving these “cowboys” a wide berth if you are looking for any type of acceptable customer service.

I would seriously advise against using this company. Despite numerous text messages/emails etc to ensure that the date and time were locked in to move furniture back and forth between two houses in around 4 to 5 hours , they did not show up a t the agreed time. When I called to find out what was happening they made numerous excuses starting with a flat battery,then kept me and family members waiting all day with promises they were on their way. After 5 or 6 phone calls of lies and excuses moving further and further into the afternoon, it was clear they could not complete the 4 hour job that day. I became enraged and demanded they refund my deposit so I could find someone else.They have not refunded my $100 deposit and have not responded to my emails. They cost me time, money , enormous stress and kept my deposit. Based on my experience they are unethical, unprofessional, and disorganised. I finally booked the movers 'Ezy Az' from Aldinga and they were brilliant. This company should be renamed Lift and Shifty. I have never written a bad online review but Lift and Shift deserve it and hope to save someone else from t h e stress of dealing with them.

It started off badly when Lift and Shift Movers were 80 minutes late. No apology from the staff when they finally arrived.
From then on it was all downhill...
The "removalists" seemed very inexperienced, they were soooo slow, and inefficient.
It soon became clear they were looking to prolong the whole move by just taking small items one at a time. It was only when my partner and I got involved and started carrying stuff to the truck that they started to speed up.
Eventually the van was full and they set off on the 15 minute journey to the new place, a journey which took them 45 minutes?!
When I asked them what took them so long they said the van struggled to get up the hill - I'm sure the Hungry Jacks wrappers i saw in the cab was just a coincidence!
The staff were rude and abrupt especially to my partner, it seems like they enjoyed talking down to my female partner but not so much to me.
At the conclusion of the move I had to get the last item off the truck myself (I'd read the reviews about how they keep something on the truck at the end as leverage for overpayment). This led to them becoming very confrontational as they demanded extra money, lying about the times they started, and adding their lunch break in to the cost.
I stood firm and only paid the correct amount despite their attempts at intimidation.
I could go on with other things such as the 15 minutes they spent trying to reverse out of the carport / drive or the scratches to some of the furniture but I think you get the picture by now.
For your own sanity please avoid this very poor and unprofessional company.
