I wish I had read these reviews before I took out the policy. Had nothing but trouble and only had the vehicle a few months. It’s a vw camper van. Not Legally registered with dvla as a camper as no full height roof. They have asked for pictures, v5 and proof that dvla won’t class it as a camper.
Send pictures- we need more pictures. Permanent sink/cooker/table/bed/seating etc etc
Tried to contact via email- auto response. Tried via phone on hold. Finally a lady answers telling me I will receive a call back within 24 hours. I’m now still waiting.
If I wasn’t bothered about loosing £100 I’d be canceling my policy!
I’m leaving this review on behalf of my parents . They called about their caravan insurance because they have a new caravan . Took 2 weeks for someone to get back to them and then they didn’t my parents called back. They have insured their caravan and their awning was insured for £1500 to then find out the company only pay £500 for an awning that’s been damaged. So basically their defrauding people by them insuring an item for more money when in actual fact they won’t cover that price. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of space company. Can’t wait to look for a new policy that will cover them for what they actually own. They called and the lady said they can change the amount of cover on the awning. You should be saying this to people when they insure their items with yourselves . Talk about rip of Britain !

Nov.2022. It took Quadra the Claims Handlers 4 weeks to get a report from their sub-contractors and tell me they wouldn't fund a repair on my storm- damaged roof due to 'wear and tear' issues. I had to constantly chase up the claims handler for updates; there were none as they weren't pushing for the report. They said they only used park home specialists but the assessment was done by a contractor who told me he had no park home experience. I had a letter from 'Donna, the customer care champion' with a contact number; she never answered the phone or called back. By the time I was told 'no funding for repair' it was daylight saving time and constant rainy weather. I have only just managed to get the leak fixed and roof repaired privately. The park home roofer said tiles had been damaged where the Lifesure Emergency Repair team (also not park home specialists) had stood on the roof. The stress caused, and the disappointment in Lifesure services has been enormous. Would you renew with them again if you were me?
Jury is still out on this rating. I have a leak in the roof of my Park Home caused by storm a few weeks ago. So far Lifesure [Park Home Insurers] have sent out an Emergency repair team [they came twice and didn't even hold the leak] and another team to make a permanent fix but couldn't do the work. None of these contractors were park home specialists, and I was promised I would get park home specialists. My roof is still left to leak in rain and when it does the ceiling beneath gets wet. Right over my boiler!
An Assessor was also supposed to come before the 'permanent fix' repair. No-one has come.
If you cannot trust your specialist insurers what are you to do? Some long waits on the phone, yes, but Claims Handlers have been good and patient but they are not the ones doing the repair, are they? I need some-one for the actual work I have confidence in to do a professional job and know will not do more damage to my roof !
When/if this is resolved I will review my post but I'm seriously thinking this company is not a good choice, despite being with them 15 years.

I have been with lifesure in excess of 8 years never had any problems with them, but now when i called was answered by a lady who said we are experiencing high volume of calls someone will back in 24hours it’s now in excess of 24 hours,she did not ask any details as to why I was calling just what’s your phone no. I said do you want my ref,she said I suppose so.
Something is not right at lifesure aas I said I have never had any problems before .As you can’t speak to anybody what would happen if I had a claim problem?
I am now considering moving my insurance elsewhere.

We recently suffered two bereavements. We inherited a car (to enable us to support my greaving mother in law who lives an hours drive away). As I already have a motorhome policy with you I decided to also take up a policy on the aforementioned car. I rang on Monday 26th September to be told that I would receive a call back within 24hrs. On Tuesdy 27th I rang and left a message.On Wed 28th I had still not received a call so rang yet again to be told I had a 24hr callback time. I asked to speak to a manager and was put through. He did give me a quote.As it turned out the quote was much too high so was no good to me anyway. Please be aware that all through this ordeal we have been greaving. Sorting out a funeral, death certs, insurance claims etc and also trying to support a broken Mother in law who had just lost her husband and my partner who had lost his Father. This Morning 29th September (which happens to be my partners Birthday) I received a call back. I explained the whole situation and said how disgusted I was with the whole debacle. I have since received two more calls asking for 2 different surnames..I am totally disgusted with the insensitivity and incompetence of your company and will have to think long and hard on what to do when my motorhome insurance is due for renewal. I certainly won't be using your company ever again and will also make sure everyone I know avoids you like the plague
I have been trying for five days to get my renewal sorted out. There was a mix up - my fault - and my insurance lapsed. I wanted to talk to someone. I phoned on Monday. On phone in queue for more than half an hour then cut off. Tried again on Tuesday. Same story. Tried again on Wednesday - Left a message asking for a return call. Nothing happened. Tried again on Thursday morning - Left another message. Nothing. Tried again Thursday afternoon. This time I actually spoke to a person. He could not help! He would pass my request to an agent who would ring me back. He said that my request would be marked URGENT. Nothing happened. Friday morning I contacted another broker. Within 15 minutes I had a text reply and then about 15 minutes later someone phoned me. New insurance was sorted immediately. Lifesure customer service is just about non existent.

Was very pleased with Lifesure in the past, always answered the phone immediately but now I have tried 4 times to phone them ,after being on hold for 20 + minutes it is transferred to someone who says they are the overflow for telephone calls but will get someone to ring me back `yeah right`. Still waiting. I challenged the last `overflow` operator and he told me he didn`t work for Lifesure ,he was from another company hired to take the excess calls. I am wondering if this other company are administrators? . Never again.

Have been trying to phone my insurance brokers Lifesure for two days now, each time spent over one hour on hold, then referred back to 'reception' very poor phone signal and person who did not speak good English. Booked call back, not happened. Need to resolve insurance problem. Will have to find new broker, can't cope with such poor customer service. Still have not got through to them.

I have to say, worst insurance broker bar far. Following Saturdays poor service now they rob me of £89 to cancel a policy which i have paid, but i would say to anyone looking to use these, please avoid like the plague, i will certainly be telling others to avoid. Poor service and daylight robbery.
Have to say, there are some people in the company who are helpful and i change my review score.

As a long time customer of Lifesure Group, and just this minute read customer reviews, I am forming the opinion that Lifesure makes claims particularly difficult. Also when you phone a Lifesure telephone number of many years standing with no previous issues getting through, those who answer simply say "are you wanting Lifesure and offer to call you back or put you through to someone" - but nothing else happens and you get cut off !! A strong case for Tading Standards to come in on this one. Perhaps joining and making a payment are made easy as I have had no trouble doing that, but claims are handled in a haphazard informal manner where you are asked to submit photos, quotes etc via your email. No formal link or paperwork is used. Yesterday and today, I have tried to phone them without success. Indeed, Lifesure has stated that insurance will be transferred to Barnes Commercial Team - of Barnes Commercial Limited. And when was promised a call back, one was rerurned saying "they would get a member of Lifesure to call me back" and second call awaited for almost 4 hours without a call that was some 2 hours later and did not transpire. One wonders what is going on at Lifesure Group and Barnes Commercial Group.

The only reason I am giving one star is because I can’t leave it blank. I took out car insurance through this shambles of a company and then a month later when they decided to check my licence details with the check code they decided they can’t offer insurance for that car! Therefore the time I was using my car none of my family was insured or protected and also now they are trying to claim money from me as I haven’t paid my 2nd instalment as they cancelled my insurance....

after quite a few years of taking out several types of insurance with lifesure, I have been unfortunate that i have had to submit a claim on my touring caravan insurance. I had to go through several people explaining myself and my claim. then 1 day later I got a phone call saying that I had to pay another £173 immediately . I explained that I have not been contacted by anyone yet who has said I can claim on my insurance policy. I had not read the reviews on the company before and if I had known they have a very poor customer rating I would never have done business with them.

Zero stars poor customer service & unhelpful post non-fault accident, they neglected to add my previous 2 years no claims for my new provider so I'm having to start again - the data wasn't verified correctly, questions unanswered, call backs never happen & I've been passed around without any meaningful responses - I am now submitting a report to the Ombudsman for mediation & I am hopeful of a resolution that will re-stablish my now 3 years no claims for my new provider.
Initially I was happy, but my first year insurance had a £400 compulsory excess and my NCB wasn’t protected. I wasn’t offered NCB protection, nor was I offered excess reimbursement for just £17.00. You really need to cover all areas with T&C’s before agreeing to anything because my renewal offer was terrible! I had to call up and negotiate my renewal, which was amended in a very minor manner. The interest charge seems to be very high for monthly payments as well. Ultimately, I was persuaded to take out insurance with a horrible payment clause and my renewal offer was practically the same insurance plan! I had to call up and discuss reimbursement for such a colossal excess, protect my NCB and actually lower my renewal premium, as opposed to agreeing to the same insurance plan second year round. The only amendment was £50 less excess, but £57.50 admin fee was obviously applied for little or no effort on customer satisfaction! How can Axa justify £400 the first year and £350 excess the second year? I’ve now found insurance with no compulsory excess, considerably lower premium with way more protection for spare keys, roadside recovery and etc. I was genuinely disappointed with their customer service. In particular a lady called “Jess” was terrible and lacked any interest in helping me with my phone call. I now have a better understanding of car insurance and know what to look out for. I was fooled by the fact that Axa were technically my insurer. Car insurance is a scam if you don’t check all the fine print and lifesure do well to pass on these scandalous insurance plans on to customers with little attention to detail or effort to keep customers happy. Try them if you’re desperate, but be careful with their offers!
Bought insurance for motorhome we had bought, six months in sold it due to ill health, informed insurance company who then wanted another £30 to cancel policy, really thought that was a low blow after all they already had a years money out of us, will avoid this company, feel let down and ripped off

I have been a loyal customer for a good few years now.Unfortunately I had too make a claim two months ago on my contents insurance to replace my flooring and I have too say “what a complete joke”it has been one cock up after another.The insurers (Quadra)don’t give a dam about there costumers and are rude.I have now waited another 8 days for the claim handler to reply to an email to explain why after supplying my bank details that he requested I send him I still haven’t had the AGREED settlement paid into my bank.So I rang at 8.30 am this morning and was told he didn’t start till 9 am so they would get him to ring me.YET AGAIN I have waited ALL day for his call and NOTHING.
I made him aware in a previous email that I am Disabled and i have now been without flooring in a park home for 2 months now but clearly he dosent give a dam.I have a chronic pain condition and a severe Anxiety disorder and this has mad me I’ll .Never again will I be taking my insurance with lifesure.Discusting.

On a seperate note, been getting several calls from them which I've tried to return with ZERO success until today, then that's just an answering service, not even them!!!

We have sold our caravan so, therefore, no longer need insurance for it. They want £79.00 cancellation fee!!!!!!
How?why?what??? seriously. This is disgusting and, going on other reviews on here, we are not alone. Surely this cannot be legal, its definitely immoral. Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. For anyone looking for caravan insurance DO NOT USE LIFESURE
