Thank you Avi, glad we fulfilled your expectations.
I bought a $1,000 set of chess pieces from these guys. They were the official DGT World Chess Championship pieces with the sensors; the same ones they actually use in events like FIDE World Chess Championship events as well as the FIDE World Cup, FIDE Candidates, and other top level FIDE events. I wish I could include the photographs that clearly paint the whole picture, but long story short, the set had a whole bunch of manufacturing defects. At first we thought it was just the knights but as it turns out, there were other symmetrically concerning defects on other pieces as well, most notably the queens and the kings. As of this review the case is ongoing and it's very difficult to get responses at this time because the folks at Librium Games turned out to actually be dealers for DGT so they're actually going as far as getting a hold of DGT to hold them accountable and what have you and this all happened because the artisans that worked on these pieces turned out to have had a bit too much alcohol when working on the pieces themselves. The case is still ongoing and we're all working together to fix the issue.

To put things into context, the customer purchased a quality 'hand-crafted' set of wooden electronic DGT pieces.
The customer expected a machined, symmetrical and perfect profile for every piece.
The reason most people opt for these pieces is the fact that they are 'hand-crafted', where no two sets are the same and have their own unique character. Additionally... wood always carries a certain degree of blemishes, it's the nature of wood!
Librium Games Ltd have offered the customer a full refund on return of the pieces.
DGT have confirmed that there is no quality issues and that the pieces are as they are supposed to be.
I bought a $1,000 set of chess pieces (it didn't even include the board because DGT) and this set had loads of manufacturing defects across the whole set, as shown in pictures as evidence.
Since then we have been exchanging emails but the case is still up in the air. At first I thought the main problem was with just the knights but we found other QC problems on other pieces as well, such as the queens and the kings.
QUICK EDIT!!!!
I MUST clarify that this is only a placeholder review just because I got the prompt telling me to give a review. The case is ongoing, and I even told them that even if we were to get a second set for free and that set still has the same QC issues with the slanted knights and inconsistent cuts on the queens the bishops the kings and so on, even that is still going to be a lot of help and even that will be enough to get this review bumped to 5 stars. This is just placeholder. It WILL change to 5 stars once we get a good resolution. Promise!
