After having a stairlift fitted for my mother over a year ago it proved too complicated for her to use due to mild dementia,I called Leodis and within one wk the lift had been replaced,I had excellent and clear advice ,the fitter was super efficient came on time and was very tidy,the lift is now usable and has retained her independence a little longer.All round good service

We needed a stairlift for my parents urgently following a fall. Phoned the company Friday. They came to measure up Monday. Stairlift fitted Wednesday! Salesman very understanding of my parents needs and gave us a choice of payment options. Fitting was on time and efficient. Cannot fault this company. In fact I mentioned this to OT at hospital and also recommended to a friend.

Great company
We moved from Wales to England in November last year and needed a stairlift for my husband who has Parkinson’s disease.
Allan was super helpful and explained my options clearly and without trying to upsell anything I didn’t need.
Michael came to fit the stair lift a few days later and was efficient and friendly.
We had a couple of quotes and decided on Leodis . We are very pleased with the service and product.

Allan visited and planned the stairlift - he advised on everything and costed the job - and advised on a good lead time (had other quotes and the fitting time scale weren’t good),Michael the engineer laser measured and finalised the design - it was fitted on time and my Father is happy with it - very safe for him.

The surveyor ( Allan) came out at a time of my choosing. All my concerns were listened to and , amazingly, the stairlift was fitted the next day. The lift is easy to use and we have the added comfort of knowing there is a 24hour call out service, should anything go wrong.

Competitive price, speedy installation. great customer service
I contacted several stairlift companies and had surveys and quotations from two. After breaking my leg I desperately needed a stair lift. Leodis were able to do me a quotation and offer me an installation promptly. Yvette prepared my quotation and explained the costs and process to me. She was able to get me an installation date just two days later. Connor. the installation engineer who attended, was helpful and informative. He worked quickly and left everything clean and tidy. Thank you, I can now sleep in my own bed and have a shower, what a relief!

Stairlift installation
I needed a stairlift installing at short notice so my elderly mother could come back home after a short spell in hospital. The whole experience from enquiry to final installation was exceptional. I made the enquiry on the Wednesday morning, and by Friday mid-afternoon the installation was complete. The people in the office were very helpful, and changed their appointment schedule to fit me in. I dealt with Nathan face-to-face who came to the property to do the survey. He explained the options in a clear concise way, which enabled me to make a prompt decision and move forward with the installation. The installer arrived on time and carried out all the work with no issues, leaving the house clean and tidy. I would 100% recommend Leodis without any hesitation at all. It was a very straight forward transparent process. They phoned me back when they said they would. They arrived when the said they would. They did what they said they would do. What I thought might be an involved time-consuming process tuned out to be the complete opposite.

A tale of 2 companies really. The first that seems compassionate, easy to deal with and efficient at getting your equipment installed as you desperately attempt to support a loved one.
All of that goes out the window once they've taken your money. My stairlift was in for a little over 2 weeks and barely used as my wife was unfortunately taken back to hospital where she devastatingly passed away.
According to Leodis during those 2 weeks of minimal use - my equipment devalued by roughly 80%.
They would happily take it back for £300. Of course they would. A bargain compared to the £1650 I paid 2 weeks prior.
The paperwork states the equipment can be bought back based on 'age and general condition of the lift' but what it absolutely doesn't mention is the company policy that caps this at £300. Not a penny more.
This policy will then be rammed down your throat at every attempt to have a reasonable conversation about it. Yes they'll churn out the standard 'please accept our sincere condolences' but with zero genuine compassion. Zero empathy.
Had I been mercenary enough to leave my wife's death bed a day earlier I could have got a refund under the 2 week cancellation policy but unsurprisingly it wasn't high on my list of priorities at the time.
Lesson learnt. Buy a bungalow.
UPDATE after reply: your soulless response only reinforces my point. I also met my legal obligation to pay you in full for the installation. Thank goodness that's the contractual stuff cleared up.
As for your 'bespoke' installation it has since been successfully refitted into someone else's home (quite easily might I add). Thankfully a person in great need who doesn't have to line someone else's pockets.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations, and we regret that you felt it necessary to leave a 1-star review. We take all customer feedback seriously, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond.
As a business, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service both before installation and throughout the aftercare process. For this reason, we feel your comment describing “a tale of two companies” does not accurately reflect the level of service we consistently strive to provide.
While we are sincerely sympathetic to the difficult circumstances you have unfortunately found yourself in, we must also clarify the legal and contractual position regarding the stairlift installation.
The stairlift supplied to you includes a bespoke rail, custom-made specifically for your property. Due to this, only certain components can be reused, which significantly limits the unit’s residual value. You entered into a contract for the manufacture and installation of this bespoke system, which was completed in full, and the work was signed off to confirm that everything met the agreed specifications. We have therefore honoured all obligations under the contract.
We do completely understand how challenging this situation is, and we are sympathetic. However, because the rail is bespoke and cannot be reused elsewhere, we are unable to offer a full refund. We are able to offer a £300 buy-back, which reflects both the recoverable parts and the cost of removal.
As outlined in our terms and conditions, the £150 deposit is non-refundable, and refunds are not normally given for bespoke installations. The stairlift was manufactured from the survey measurements and installed at your request, with costs incurred for survey, preparation, and installation.
Our offer of a £300 buy-back remains available should you wish to have the stairlift removed.

Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish, rang and enquired about options on the Saturday, someone came to measure up on the Monday and it was fitted on the Wednesday, bought a curved reconditioned stairlift with automatic turn at the top and colour coordinated to match my stair carpet, looked like new and was 1000s cheaper then we expected 😀 we paid just under £3000 but we did have the extra motor to turn at the top so would be even less, great staff on the phone and in person, clean and tidy when installing I would definitely recommend using Leodis Stairlifts.

Quick, efficient, reliable the Leodis stairlift is easy to use
Recently my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness and sadly his ability to get around his home is starting to diminish due to his medications and he was finding it hard to get upstairs to all of his amenities and we needed to consider a way forward to help with his wishes to stay independent in his home. The difficulty we found was finding a stairlift to fit my dad’s staircase. We tried several companies some of which became a nuisance with constant sales calls after their initial visit. However, Leodis had a different approach, Lindsey was brilliant, the surveyor was most helpful in explaining what was needed to help us get the stairlift fitted and the fitter was excellent too as there were additional issues with the building of a platform at the top of the stairs where the chair swung round to allow my dad’s staircase to get off safely and the top carpet relaying. Nothing was too much for all of the staff from Lindsey, to the surveyor and fitter. I can’t express our gratitude and thanks for a quick and efficient job done by the company and we would recommend to anyone trying to help an elderly relative to stay at home. The stair lift is easy to use, safe and easy to use.

When I returned home from hospital…
When I returned home from hospital recently, I was happy to see my Leodis Stair lift had been installed, and was ready to help me with my new mobility problem. My brother, who had organised the installation, showed me how to use it, and up I went. He said that the installation went well, and the installer was very friendly and helpful. In a market place where there are several providers of stair lifts, I recommend you contact Leodis.

I realised I needed a stairlift after my balance problems suddenly worsened and it was becoming risky coming up and down my stairs. I chose Leodis Stairlifts because they are a local company and they had excellent reviews from customers. I’m so pleased I did.
The service I received was brilliant and very fast. After ringing up on Thursday morning to enquire, Dave came to visit the house that afternoon. He was extremely thorough, friendly and there was no attempt at pressure to decide. He gave me a few quotations and I quickly decided to invest in a new stairlift model. Amazingly they arranged the installation for the next day.
The work was carried out to a high standard and the fitter was very courteous and helpful and fully demonstrated how it worked. (I didn’t catch his name)
I’ve had it a week now and I couldn’t be happier with it. What a difference it’s made to my life!
I’m delighted that I chose Leodis. An honest, friendly company who gave me all the costs clearly without hidden extras and were extremely efficient.
They clearly focus on customer satisfaction and from the initial phone call to the final installation, the whole experience was one I would thoroughly recommend to others thinking about getting a stairlift.

Came home from holiday and my stairlift had been fitted. A great relief could not wait to try it, i had been suffering so much with the fear of the stairs.
