Sick fed up receiving calls telling me I have been in an accident when I know I haven’t. They actually argue with me on the phone!!! How can I stop this as I block the number after they call and they call back next day under a different number. If the company read these reviews, do something about this.

They somehow obtained information about my insurance claim. I answered some questions handing over personal details to ‘complete security’. Very empathetic and understanding, seemed genuine until they asked me to email a photo of my driving license and a letter with proof of address. At that point I called my insurance company and they confirmed my suspicions of a scam.

Scammers - When they phone you call them Scammers

It’s a bunch of daft Liverpudlian woman if you call them scammers they get so angry.

Please just wind them up - That will get them to stop calling.

Just be aware they shout abuse at you - Just laugh it off

They got my information from a no fault claim and cold called me. The woman introduced the company and when I told her I had no business with Legal Assist and was going to hang up she told me I sounded like a man then started abusing me (swearing insults and laughing). I’ll leave you to decide whether to use them.

This company is awful. I'd just had a terrifying accident and thought I was through to my insurer Admiral, the phone just said "you're through to the accident claims department". Two days later Admiral contacted me to say they'd been told I'd had an accident - the first time I realised a totally different company had recovered my car and was now in possession of it. I then had to start the process of unpicking everything, paying a fortune in recovery charges and storage so that I could release my vehicle from the clutches of a third party claims management company Legal Assist had somehow put me through to so that I could deal with my own insurer, who are far more transparent and whom I trust. I think it's awful how Legal Assist takes advantage of people who are in a vulnerable state, it just isn't clear to you at all at the time who they are and what getting involved with them entails. A week later Legal Assist called me up, and the guy just introduced himself "hi I'm from the claims department". By this time I was wise to it and asked what company he worked for. We then had a massive row in which I said I had not wanted his firm's services and would never have accepted them if I'd realised he wasn't from Admiral. Also, that if you're getting customers by taking advantage of the fact that people don't quite realise who you are, that's a nasty way to do business and no kind of basis for trust.

Last Friday someone went into the side of me. I was suffering from shock, whiplash & headache.
I rang what I thought was my insurance company but it was Legal Assist.
I actually said “I’m so glad I kept my insurance with you guys & said Direct Line). The chap on the other end never corrected me. Then I was talking about the third party blaming me who was also with direct Line. He said “oh in these cases without witnesses we usually do a 50/50”
So for a week I’ve been dealing with legal assist thinking it was on behalf of Direct Line.
Today I had an emotional meltdown I just didn’t understand what was happening. I had rung Direct Line who kept saying you haven’t put in a claim. Thought I was going mad. So there you are someone deliberately took advantage of me when I was still in “shock”. I’ve had to do everything again today and I’ll be honest it has seriously affected my mental health.

SHAME ON YOU WHOEVER DID THAT TO SOMEONE WHO WAS CLEARLY VULNERABLE!!!!

These guys somehow got hold of my car accident information even when neither me nor the third-party informed our insurances, when asked how did you get the number, they kept saying that the third-party informed us. When I checked with the third-party, they declined having contacted them directly.

Then they keep passing me around to three other companies, I didn't understand what was going on till the insurance companies informed me that these are possibly shady company. Beware if you get a cold call from them and ask for their company registration / FCA registration numbers. They don't have any at the moment and they keep telling me that they are not my dating me on a dating app so there is no question of any red flags!

My underwriters sold my data to them for a non fault claim. Very forcefully trying to get me to claim I was injured following an accident to make a claim (I wasn't injured). Said I didn't need to prove I was injured. Any doctor I would see would be paid off by the insurers. I was absolutely amazed how honest they were about trying to rip off an insurance company. When I said I wasn't interested I got called a second time and told I was throwing away free money!

I have been searching for solicitors for weeks upon weeks as everyone I have spoken to didn’t want to listen to me or have been busy to deal with my case.
