This store deserves no business whatsoever for their deceiving tactics and poor customer service. They keep your money, don’t let you cancel orders if they haven’t been shipped and claim they don’t automatically apply discounts even though they promote it everywhere on their page. To make things worse, they claim their return policy is listed everywhere for everyone to see, but it is listed in the tiniest print ever on. No company in the world is this poorly run and this money hungry. Never ever buy here. They tried to get my last review deleted because they didn’t like what I said and claimed I used poor words to describe their business but trust pilot came back and said I didn’t say anything wrong. Embarrassing that you’re trying to delete reviews of people speaking their truth.

Runway-level Designs (3.5 Stars)

The dresses are classic and shaped beautifully. The only thing stopping me from buying every piece is the fabric. They use polyester for most of their pieces, which is unfortunate but I presume keeps their margins high.

It's tough to find evening/going-out clothing that isn't over-the-top and unnecessarily skimpy while still being sexy and showing skin tastefully. LEAU strikes a good balance for me. The pieces can comfortably be worn to a nice dinner and out to a bar without missing a beat. I also appreciate the simplicity, which allows me to style the clothing to fit my taste.

The Other Missing Star
Aside from the fabric, I took a star off for the packaging. For this price point, I'm expecting branded gift boxes and tissue paper. NO. You're going to receive a dusty faded black package (no box) with your items balled up inside. What a shame. This almost stopped me from re-ordering.

General communications is on par. They will respond in a timely manner. I haven't returned anything yet, and I'm trying to avoid doing so since the return process is manual and laborious for the customer.

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
There are several reasons I cannot recommend this company:

I was provided with a coupon code, but I was never informed that using it would make my purchase ineligible for a refund. This policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and only became apparent when I attempted to initiate a return.

The sizing was significantly inaccurate. I typically wear either a medium or a large, yet I was unable even to zip the large. The sizing does not appear to align with standard measurements.

Customer service was extremely disappointing. After my initial inquiries, the company stopped responding to my emails altogether. I was unable to obtain a return shipping label without first agreeing to their restrictive return policy.

With so many reputable companies offering quality products and transparent customer service, there is no reason to deal with a business that relies on misleading policies and fails to communicate with its customers.

I really wanted to love this clothing company, but unfortunately my experience has been incredibly disappointing.
I purchased two dresses for my baby shower—same style, two different sizes—for nearly $600 total. They were estimated to arrive the week before my shower, but they didn't show up until the day after the event. Shipping delays happen, and I completely understand that, so I didn't even bother trying them on. Instead, I immediately requested a return and shipped both dresses back.
LEAU received my return before the return window expired and confirmed received on May 23. Their customer service informed me that refunds to the original payment method take 7–10 business days to process. Here we are, six weeks later, and I'm still waiting for my refund.
I've followed up multiple times, and each time I've been told my case has been "escalated." Then this morning, instead of receiving the refund I've repeatedly requested, I was issued a gift card for the nearly $600 I spent. This is especially frustrating because their return policy clearly states that refunds to the original payment method are an option, and I even confirmed this before purchasing both dresses.
At this point, it feels like I've been given the runaround for six weeks. I understand that delays can happen, but the lack of communication, the failure to honor the stated return policy, and being issued store credit instead of the refund I requested is extremely unprofessional. I expected much better customer service, especially for a company with products at this price.

DO NOT BUY FROM LEAU! DO NOT USE ANY PROMO CODE EVER! This shop is such a scam. I bought two dresses (same dress different sizes) from LEAU for my rehearsal dinner. Clearly if I’m buying the same dress different size I intend on returning one of them at minimum. When I received the dress I did not like the fit of either size, plus the white was see through. I went to return on their portal and there was only the option to get store credit. How could that be? The dress wasn’t final sale or even on sale? Also it was only a day after I received the order so I was within the 14 day window. Little did I know but in the fine print it says orders that use discount code are only available for store credit if returned. What?! So when I used the WELCOME code (10% off) which was pushed to me over and over through pop ups/reminders - that automatically disqualified me from getting my money back?! What a way to attract returning customers, absolutely scamming people!! Never in all my online shopping have I seen a company policy where using their WELCOME code results in store credit. It’s entirely counter intuitive and a predatory scam. This needs to be known by every potential shopper, I wish I knew or I would have never bought this dress. I wonder the amount of people they’ve duped from this scam.

Additionally but less important. I was waiting weeks for a “pre-order” dress to ship that was never even labeled pre-order on the website when I bought it and neither in my email confirmation. When I followed up to ask where my shipment was they said it was a pre-order item and would be available when it’s available. No estimated date or anything. And after that passive aggressive response, I immediately got a shipped notification. Clearly something went wrong in their backend and they pushed the order manually. That could not have been a coincidence. Yet the answer provided to me made me feel like I was the dumb/wrong one!!

Even further I have contacted customer service two times about getting a refund to my card instead of store credit and they haven’t even responded!! They are now waiting out the 14 day window so I can’t receive a refund.

Please LEAU respond to this message and rectify the situation. It’s completely unacceptable.

Do NOT order from Leau! This clothing site must be ran by complete idiots who are incompetent of common sense. I ordered a per-order dress on May 21st. The listed shipping date was between June 15th-17th. The dress never shipped during that time frame. On the 20th of June I inquired about when the dress would ship I was advised of no date as to when I would receive the dress despite it being past the pre order shipping date. I was instead advised that shipping on pre order items are uncertain and a refund could not be provided. Days later I still had no dress or refund! It took me to go off via email for an email to be sent advising a refund was provided yet I did not receive a refund confirmation. Just horrible!

THE RETURN POLICY IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. DO NOT DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. NO MATTER WHAT YOU WILL GET A GIFT CARD NOT A REFUND OF YOUR MONEY.

I love my pantalons and would totally buy another fit. Quality materials and great style 10 stars!

I ordered a dress from LEAU that was listed as a pre-order, which I understood meant I’d have to wait. However, unlike most reputable companies that don’t charge your credit card until an item is ready to ship, LEAU charged my card immediately.
After waiting over a month with no updates—and after the estimated delivery date had already passed—I contacted customer service to request a refund since I no longer had any use for the dress. They refused, claiming the dress had already been “allocated” to me and therefore couldn’t be canceled.
I then asked for a tracking number. They stalled for several days before finally providing one, but it only showed that a shipping label had been created. For the next seven days, there were no shipping updates at all. Instead, I received nothing but excuse after excuse while they continued refusing to refund my money.
The dress finally arrived 46 days after I placed the order and 14 days after the shipping label was created. To make matters worse, their website seems intentionally designed to make the return process as difficult as possible.
Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. There are plenty of companies that offer equal or better quality without charging your card immediately, holding your money for over six weeks, giving you the runaround, and making returns nearly impossible.
It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. LEAU is a major red flag.

While you had the time to reply to my review, you still have not provided me with a return label to return the dress and get a refund. Horrible customer service.

LEAU’s is my favourite online shopping retailer!! They have the cutest pieces, I always get compliments on everything I wear and their customer service is amazing. Highly reccomend!!

This store is extremely misleading. I ordered a dress for $180 and since their measurements are incorrect, I was forced to send it back. However, because of their "policy" I am only allowed an exchange or store credit. I would have taken that offer, if their measurements were accurate, but since they are not, I would not want another item from them. It's very misleading for them to provide a coupon code and then state that that very coupon code makes your transaction ineligible for a refund. Not to mention, on the transaction screen it did not specify that the item I was purchasing was "FINAL SALE". DO NOT BUY!!

I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping with Lea Clothing to read their return policy very carefully before placing an order.

I purchased a dress that unfortunately did not fit me. I returned it on time, in perfect condition, unworn, with all original tags attached, and fully complied with every requirement of their return policy.

To my surprise, I was denied a refund and was only issued store credit because I had used a first-time customer discount code at checkout. The dress was returned exactly as received, yet the company kept my money and provided only a gift card.

The most frustrating part is that this gift card has been sitting unused for over a year. I do not like anything else on the website and have no interest in making another purchase. My money is essentially locked with this company, and they refuse to return it to my original payment method.

I contacted customer service multiple times explaining that I had returned the item in perfect condition and simply wanted a refund. Every request was denied with the same generic response about company policy. Offering a discount and then using that discount as a reason to refuse refunds feels extremely misleading.

I shop online regularly and have never experienced anything like this with reputable retailers. Companies such as Revolve process legitimate returns without trapping customers’ money in store credit.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing. I feel that I was treated unfairly, and I would never shop with this company again. If there is any chance you may need to return an item, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

P.S. Please do not respond with a standard apology. I have heard enough apologies already. The only acceptable resolution is a full refund to my original payment method. If you are not willing to do that, there is nothing further to discuss.

The most responsive and helpful customer support I have received in a long time! My girlfriend needed to make an exchange for an item I purchased and they were extremely helpful!

BEWARE — DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I pre-ordered 2 dresses on April 21 for my graduation and they did not ship out on the estimated window dates (April 29-May 1) that they provided due to a delay.

I e-mailed them asking to cancel my order and they said that they were unable to. I don’t understand how they couldn’t cancel and refund a pre-order that has not even shipped out nor did they even have the stock to ship out. I find that it should have been an easy fix.

Due to the delayed pre-order, I was e-mailing them back and forth regarding tracking my order. They claimed that my package was delivered on May 15 according to the tracker on their end but I had not received an update from them.
So I attached a screenshot of the tracking that I have from the courier still showing that the “label has been created.” I also called UPS and they stated that they had never received a package from them. I don’t understand why the company would lie about my package being delivered when the courier stated that they had never received it.

My package finally updated to “delivered” on May 30. (I was out of the country during that time so I could not ensure my package was delivered).

Once returning, I did not find my package so I’m at a loss for everything since LEAU does not cover stolen or lost packages nor give refunds to original payment plan since I used a discount code.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, PLEASE read their return policy — they state that they are not responsible for lost packages and grant store credit if you purchase with a discount code. Absolutely DO NOT USE THEIR DISCOUNT CODE for this reason, if you want your money back. I sadly did not get my money back since I used a discount code that was advertised by them, and of course customers would use it without looking at their return policy.

I am truly disappointed and frustrated and regret buying from this company.

I should have done myself a favor and looked up reviews of this company prior to purchasing. All these 1 star reviews have similar experiences and this speaks volumes to how this company is. This is shady business and I do not recommend purchasing through their website.

LEAU, do better and change your policy or advertise your policy in large bold headers on your front page so people are aware before buying.

I had the most terrible experience with this business, TWICE. I ordered a dress a few month back which did not work for me unfortunately. Before placing the order, I was sure to check return policies and it clearly stated that refunds will be issued after return. I returned the dress within two weeks, but did not get a refund. They only issued a store credit. When I inquired, they said because I used a 10% coupon, I am not eligible for a refund, which is ridiculous They claim this is written on their site, but if it is it was definitely hidden on purpose. Customer service was not helpful to accommodate me at all. So I moved on and just a couple of weeks ago I decided to order a dress for my daughter for her graduation. She was excited but the dress, the order came in time but THE WRONG DRESS was sent. it looked nothing like the dress she chose and ordered. I contacted customer service and there was no response. i sent NUMEROUS e-mails and none of the were answered. my daughter was crying because she won't have the dress she wanted. this dress they sent is going to waste and they are completely ignoring me. This business is a SCAM - stay away from them and order from a reliable brand like Revolve or even Shein.
I am so frustrated with them, I don't usually write bad reviews, but they got so many chances to rectify the situation and they didn't.

One of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had.

LEAU failed at every stage of the customer experience. The dress took so long to arrive that I was forced to purchase another dress locally for my event. When the item finally arrived, it was extremely disappointing. The fit was strange, the shape was unflattering, and the dress was far shorter than it appeared online.

I returned the dress the very next day and followed every return instruction provided by the company. What followed was nearly a month of frustration. I sent numerous emails asking about my refund and received little communication or assistance. No customer should have to chase a company for weeks just to receive a response.

When LEAU finally replied, I was told that my refund would only be issued as store credit rather than being returned to my original form of payment. Their reasoning was that the item was a “sale item.” This is simply misleading. The dress was and still is listed at full price on their website. The only discount applied was the standard 10% first-time customer coupon that LEAU actively encourages new customers to use. Reclassifying a full-price item as a “sale item” after purchase to avoid issuing refunds feels deceptive and unfair.

The entire experience left me feeling disrespected as a customer. Between the excessive shipping delays, poor product quality, lack of communication, and refusal to issue a proper refund, I have completely lost confidence in this company. Buyers should read the return policy very carefully before ordering, because what appears straightforward at checkout may be interpreted very differently when it comes time to request a refund.

I will not be purchasing from LEAU again and cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Genuinely if I could give this company zero stars I would.

I paid $300 CAD and my order (placed April 20th) was never shipped despite the company claiming it was sent out. They could not even provide me with physical proof of handoff to the courier when I asked for it. The tracking link I was given does not even work anymore, and I keep receiving emails to rate my order that was NEVER even sent out to me in the first place!

They tried claiming that it's DHL's fault however when I contacted DHL directly they confirmed to never have received my order to begin with.

Over email, I was told that they would try to get the warehouse to ship me a new dress, which also never happened.

Do not waste your money buying from this store because you won't get your order and they will refuse you a refund!

I ordered a dress for my graduation that was listed as a preorder. The preorder window ended up being pushed back twice, and I still never received my package. I tried to be understanding because I knew delays can happen with preorders, but even three weeks after the estimated shipping date, there was still no update or movement on my order.

When I first reached out, I was told I would have to return the item to receive a refund — despite never receiving the dress in the first place. After continuing to follow up, I eventually received a refund, but the dress was never shipped to me.

They also tried to give me a 50$ coupon for leaving a review but i don’t wish to order from this company again

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

J’ai acheté sur cette marque depuis la France, la qualité n’est vraiment pas au niveau des prix des pièces (matières brillantes et en polyester) et la marque ne fait pas de remboursement malgré la loi européenne. À fuir !! ils proposent uniquement un retour à vos frais et un bon d’achats sur les autres produit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Quality is SHEIN and they didn’t even give me a refund because I used the “welcome” discount code during checkout. Such a scam and waste of $130.
