I placed an order with expedited delivery which is 4-8 working days - i chased my delivery on day 6 of the working days juts to ask for an update as we had not heard anything and was advised it was in transit and had been sent the previous week so we were well on track for the next 2 working days.......
Well 3 days after the 8th working day I got back I contact with them as we had not been updated again-
our delivery was due at the latest on the 30th March- the tracking info was sent showing the item had only been collected on the 1st april and was still in Pakistan!
The company tried to blame the current war situation and advised they would refund the delivery - unfortunately the reason for the expedited delivery was due to the item being needed 4 days after the final delivery date so this item was now no longer needed as it was not getting to is within one day.
I tried reasoning with the company but whoever was on the other end was adamant the product would be delivered at some point and they refused and refused to issue a refund and wanted me to wait for thr product to arrive (although they didnt require / request it bavk - they told us to keep it if and when it arrives) after a lot of arguing who's at fault and trying to make me feel bad for the delivery not arriving due to the war !
Although they forgot i saw the pick up on the 1st via the email link they sent tracking the parcel !
I had to resort to claiming the money back via my bank
All in all a very scrupulous company I will not be recommending or using ever again !
I have offered to sent the item back when / if it arrives as we no longer require it as it was for an event.

I recently purchased two items from GH Leathers: a Lamport shoulder and a Russian Hatch shoulder.

Unfortunately, both pieces fell short of expectations.

The Lamport shoulder (£160) had a noticeable defect in the middle of the hide that doesn’t appear to be a natural marking.

The Russian Hatch shoulder (£60) listing images appear to show both the front and back of the leather, with the reverse side looking darker and more finished.

However, the piece I received has a completely raw, pale veg tan back, which does not match the impression given in the product photos.

More importantly, the surface finish on the front is poor. When flexed, the colour begins to crack and flake, suggesting a surface coating rather than a durable finish. At this thickness (1-1.2mm), I would expect the leather to flex without the finish breaking down.

I understand that this is a printed/embossed leather and not dyed through, but the combination of a misleading visual impression and a finish that fails under normal use is disappointing.

Overall, not the quality I expected for the price, and I would recommend purchasing elsewhere.
