I have loved my study experience with learning cloud! Everything has been super easy, tutors and all people involved with helping get on this journey have been fantastic! I can’t wait to continue learning with this great team!

Thank you Reo Ora for such an amazing course. Your style really works for me.
I'm primarily a visual learner, so your slides and workbooks help things make sense.
But I also need to hear its pronunciation, so the videos make things easy and fun.
Being able to do it online, means I can work in my comfy place at times that suit me.
And the facebook page means I can have my questions answered.
Such a winning combination. And I thank you for that.

I am employed by a Iwi Social Services in the Far North. Prior to my current employment with Iwi, I worked for a statutory organization for 24yrs. The position I now hold is in senior management where I am responsible for the supervision and professional development of kaimahi. I decided to do the Professional Supervision course because I felt I needed a refresher and more importantly to determine whether my skills in supervision were up to speed as it had been six years since I last did refresher training on this. I am so grateful I did the course. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of researching, reflecting, and at the same time dispelling my own whakaaro that I am too old to study. I passed the Course with distinction, completing it in three months.
I take this opportunity to acknowledge Maddie Flynn who helped me master the database and Learning Cloud Portal. She was extremely patient and accommodating as I am not tech-savvy. She also responded to my queries in a very timely fashion. I
acknowledge my tutor Clinton. His comments always inspired me to do better with each assignment. He gave me the impression that he took my work seriously and cared.
I am proud of my achievement, that age is not a barrier to learning.

The Creative Writing course was challenging, fun and very worthwhile. Having completed the Writing Fiction course I wondered about doing anther course quite so soon but am extremely pleased I did. The most challenging part for me was the journalism/writing for a newspaper whilst by far the most enjoyable were the 'fiction' assignments or assignments where I could use imagination! Having mastered the data base and learning cloud portal, I found the course helpful and easy to follow. Sam was always there as a help and guide in the background and my thanks to him. As for my tutor, Clinton, I cannot speak highly enough of him. He has been a source of help and sound advice throughout both courses. His comments have been wonderful. (I sometimes wondered if he was really speaking about my work!!) For this I am extremely grateful and I know without the courses and Clinton's guidance I would never have got any work published. That is beyond my wildest dreams. So whoever reads this, if you are contemplating a course with learning cloud, my advice is 'go for it' you will not regret it!

I am currently learning Te Reo Māori through learning cloud. I have just begun my journey of learning Te Reo and my kaiako and learning cloud team have made me feel very welcomed and supported. My course is structured very well and provides a facebook group where we are able to connect with others in the same course, making sure we are on the right track. This course is awesome for anyone looking to learn Te Reo.

These days their are so many online learning places and campuses etc to choose from and it can be really overwhelming, I was trying to find the right course and what pulled me into this one was how helpful and interested maddi was in helping me find the right course. We had a conversation about what I wanted in the future and she pointed me towards the right course for me which immediately gave me the feeling that this will be a supportive online space. It’s been a few weeks now and I am loving every bit of my course! My favourite part is the feedback you get on every assessment and how quick the tutors are to respond, the online space is so easy to navigate and honestly it’s fun going into learning cloud and doing my course modules! I’m loving it, I highly recommend

I started with Learning Cloud about two weeks ago, after having an awesome informative conversation with Maddie. The courses available are EXACTLY what I want to do after being disappointed by, and pulling out of on-campus study with another provider that didn't meet expectations or support needs I had. I work part time also but got my first assessment in the day before I started my new essential job and it was returned, marked, with comments WITHIN 48 hours. SUPER IMPRESSIVE! and just the learning experience I want. The online delivery system is super simple to understand, and far superior to what I was using with my previous provider. I highly recommend considering Learning Cloud, the variety of courses is huge, the payment options awesome and self guiding time limits very doable. Give it a go!

Today I spoke with a lovely woman Maddie about starting my Te Reo Maori journey! Her customer service! Was incredible, she took the time to make sure I understood every aspect of my enrolment! This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and she made the experience so awesome!! Thank you Maddie.

The content is very specific to the course and with making you do your own research, this has helped in the learning process as well.
I am planning on continuing my education through Learning Cloud as I am able to fit it into my lifestyle.

I have completed the Editing I, II and III courses and really enjoyed it. I have very much appreciated Clinton's help and advice along the way. Jasmine was also very helpful and approachable. She kicked it all off for me and set me on the right path according to what my final goal was.
It is great to know you can do it at your own pace. Any help I required was provided quickly and in a friendly manner.
The only thing I would have liked is an email/call when I completed the course, just to explain or offer advice of what to do next, as often the hardest thing is knowing how to use your qualification! However, Jenna has replied quickly to me regarding this and I really appreciate that assistance.

I loved this course. The lessons were well set out, easy to follow, plenty of opportunities to create your own excel worksheets and get the correct outcomes. The lessons were the right length, never too long.
It was not overwhelming at all and built my knowledge right up. Thanks!

Everyone is very helpful and honest. Kind and caring and communication is excellent.

Modern day learning
I have started studying Nutritional science and enjoying every minute of it! Learning cloud has been the perfect way to study while working part time and Mum-ing my under 1 year old baby. I otherwise wouldn't be able to fit in a traditional university course. Being able to do it at my own pace and achieve bite sized units within the module gives you a great sense of accomplishment to keep you motivated :)

I have only experienced positive experience throughout my time with learning cloud. The service itself is great, it has allowed me to study remotely for my Diploma and still work at the same time. The tutors and my career coach have been fabulous in providing feedback and helping me choose appropriate modules to further my career goals.

I have completed a course and was astonished to have known and given the opportunity to do such an amazing course. I also feel that it has forced me to learn through more research and learn accordingly. Thankyou!!!!

I've had an excellent experience with advice from Sam (based in the Christhurch office)! He was very professional and clear at all times, taking a very patient approach to my questions and always quickly responding to all requests. I eventually decided to look into the Interior Design courses and have not looked back since. I have loved how creative I can be with a practical approach as well. It is easy to follow and have an awesome online tutor (Joseph) who gives feedback in a constructive and clear manner. Would definitely recommend for those looking to upskill or just to do for fun!

One of the nicest experiences I have had with a course. I am beyond enjoying my zoo keeping course and am so very excited to continue this study on to bigger things ! The self paced learning is a massive win for me as it’s easy to work study around my job ! Would highly recommend Learning Cloud as a study option.

More than 2 years ago, I have enrolled in 2 courses - Food and Beverage management and Environmental waste management - and paid a good money for them. I have not finished yet and I don’t think I ever will. Really poor and dated content with videos from the 90s. I just abandoned the course after realising that I was just wasting my time. Did anyone contacted me to ask if I was enjoying the courses or why I just abandoned it? Nop.

Great courses and content, tutors very helpful. Maddie in particular was very patient and informative while I took my time deciding on the right course path for me. Cannot recommend enough.
