Assigned lawn mowing ‘pro’ never showed up. Rescheduled and again didn’t show up. Was forced to find an alternative and canceled the service. They then charged a $15 cancellation fee.

Ryan is really good at caring for my lawn, he takes his time and does exactly what I ask him to do. I have the best lawn on my block!

The people who come cut my grass. They let me know when I should expect them. They cut my grass without any complaints about the way my backyard looks. They even move some of my stuff around so they can cut the grass. They make my yard look nicer than it was before. They do a Great Job.

Casey came a day early which I appreciated, because my yard was very over grown. He came and got right to work. And before I knew it, he was done. 10/10 would recommend.

Travis from Tray lawn was my best experience he did what the company told him. I have to reserve a company review since that's my first cut and I'm overwhelmed by their customer support communications.

The mower did a good job on the lawn and came back when requested to redo the bushes. It was a clear cut and simple process all around.

Do not hire this company. They not only showed up later than was discussed and needed, but took one look at our property and decided they could get more money from someone with a large house. They came to the job with a 14 year old child, made up the excuse that they had arrived with no gas to do the job, and multiplied the quote by 8. We had a local company come the next day and do the job for $1 over the quoted price of $84. Very sad that this company thought they could take advantage of an 80yr old couple in need of service due to a broken-down mower. Definitely not hired pros.

I’ve used Lawnstarter many times over the years, and admittedly I’ve given them way too many chances. At first, it was just random reschedules for days or weeks at a time. Then it was missed appointments, that they charged for anyway. Then the quality of work started to deteriorate. It was like it turned into a race to cut down the grass as quickly as possible, with no attention to detail. And that’s when the property damage started. Small things at first, a random chip on the wood of the house. Nothing that was overly obvious or provable. But when you hear them mowing, and then hear a thwack on the siding, you know. Then, they killed a tree with a weed whacker, and I had to go through the claims process for the first time. It was long and arduous, and the burden of proof was on me. I took a long break from them after that. I decided to give them one more chance, and they failed spectacularly. In the job description, I detailed the location of the vegetable garden, and request not to touch it. The contractor contacted me to discuss the quote and mowing schedule, and I again mentioned the garden, adding that there would be someone home, and to have the mowers verify the garden location. Almost needless to say, they did not bother knocking, and mowed the garden to the ground. Insult to injury, they broke the decorative ceramic garden sign and just left it. For over $300 in damage, they offered me a $75 credit to future mows. This service is not worth it. Do the leg work and find a local lawn service that answers directly to you.
