Wish I had read the reviews.
Whilst the documents were helpful. when you sign up for the free trial and then cancel, they don't....and still take your money....NO REFUND!

Offered a free document then fill in all the information then have to sign up to a free trial - what a waste of time!

It is basically a scam, confident the tenancy agreement produced was not even legal after being charged £33! Got a free one from the Scottish Government website. Lesson learnt, the customer service department response was pretty much get lost. Scammer avoid.

It said free document creation and then there was a charge and no way to receive the free document.

They don't tell you the "free" service actually a free trial & they are going to want bank details. Judging by other reviews on here I am not putting back details into there website. Clearly intentional misleading.

This is a scam site. The will is not free and they will take your card details and then make it impossible to log in.

It says that their tenancy agreement template is 100% free. After going through the whole form I get taken to a page that wants me to sign up for a licence with a yearly fee in order to download the template.
Why can't people just tell the bloody truth?

I took the free trial because i needed a tenancy agreement. Upon seeing they offer much more, I figured I'd keep it for a month and get a will and any other bits I could do with. Luckily I didn't delay and went to write a will before paying any money. It's only then I saw that they didn't have options for people in Scotland.
I presumed they would as they did for the tenancy, I'm just glad I realised before spending any money.

I would rate them 3 stars for not being up front about what parts aren't going to be any good for me, they already knew I was in Scotland before tempting me into membership by offering services that weren't available to me. Though I wanted to counteract the people calling the site a scam so I added a bonus star. It's not a scam. It's an unethical business model, relying on people forgetting to cancel, but they're up front and make cancelling simple enough. Obviously being a law firm they can't be as shady as other companies can be with this stuff.

Dreadful company. Accidentally ordered annual access to power of attorney forms, rang 11 days later to cancel (had not used any of their services) and they refused to refund my £29.99.

Thieving cu-ts. I clicked on there sit and realised it was not in my country so I left the site as i need Australian law information. But 2 fdays later there is a $39 payment taken from my bank account for registering with them. How the hell did they get my bank details for 1 and i never registered with them. I have asked for a refund with no reply. I going to contact the Australian Federal Police and report them. Also there is a company in Aus that gets scammed funds returned back to the person who was scammed and they have collected quite a bit of money back from Lawdepot. The UK police should close the thieves down arrest them and they should loose all their assets and be thrown in Gaol.

Don't use this company. I cancelled my free trial after a month and they are still taking £33 a month. Scammers

Absolute scam company just keep taking money out of account , reported them and suddenly all refunded

Says it’s free.. until you try to get your document. Then you pay, or subscribe for a ridiculous amount. Hate companies like this, shame on you! DON’T use!!!

Exactly what was needed in drawing up a commercial sublease agreement. Charges clearly outlined, with five years' access to the document. Would definitely use LawDepot again, should the need arise

Please do not use this service and request that another service is used for your agreement with the other party
It’s been a nightmare to get a copy of the contract signed and they’ve said they can’t do anything about it. Even when I offered to pay for it

Dont hand over your card details , I cancelled fully the same day i signed up and aslo emailed the support team who raised a ticket and assured me

Dodgy advertising for a law company not very legit, I took ages filling out a free form to find it was a hook to pay at the end!

I was helping a client with the wording of a Loan Document. I checked on the internet for advice and found Lawdepot Ltd. I did read that there was a first free trial document offer, so I took advantage of it. However, it took until the early hours of the morning to try and complete the document, as it kept printing out in Chinese! At first, I thought it was a scam ! Eventually, I re-did the whole document again - successfully. RR.
Today, I saw that PayPal had paid £33.00 to them. I had read, I thought, that the first one was free, which was correct. However, I had overlooked the fact that I had to cancel the "Trial" after a week! I was so tired that the word Trial - at the time, in my mind, was referring to the actual "Trial" ahead! I take full responsibility for my neglecting to read the terms properly, but I, in no way, was expecting the hostile, ignorant manner in which I was shouted down and interrupted by the receptionist to whom I spoke.
I was shocked and appalled when she told me that it was obviously 'my' computer that was at fault and that I was "obviously out to blame other people for my errors"! I had made the courtesy call to them, as suggested by PayPal, merely to tell them that the first payment had been made and that I had now stopped all future payments of £33.00 per month.
I take the moral of the story to be - Do not work when you are tired! And always read the small print !
However, I will NEVER do business with this company again and I certainly will not recommend them to anyone, due to their lack of listening skills and their belligerence and lack of respect to their customers.
