My experience with Laviva Clinic has been catastrophic and I am currently preparing legal action together with other affected international patients.

After undergoing extensive zirconium dental treatment in Turkey, I am now suffering from:

- documented infection and abscess on tooth 37,
- severe bite/occlusion dysfunction,
- gum recession and damage affecting anterior teeth,
- functional and aesthetic complications confirmed by Spanish dental specialists,
- and the need for corrective treatments.

I travelled twice to Turkey attempting to resolve these complications, but the problems were not properly corrected.

What I find extremely concerning is the lack of transparency throughout the entire process.

Despite repeated requests, the clinic failed to properly provide:

- complete clinical records,
- the identities and full names of all treating doctors,
- implant/material certificates,
- and proper fiscal invoices with complete tax information.

I was treated by multiple professionals, yet I still do not have full identification of everyone involved in my treatment.

The documentation I received appears incomplete and inconsistent. Some medical records reference a licensed entity under:

- “Özel Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği Ruhsatnamesi”
- License No: 1015
- Istanbul Health Directorate
which raises serious questions regarding the actual licensed medical entity operating behind the commercial brand “Laviva Clinic”.

I currently possess:

- medical reports,
- X-rays,
- prescriptions,
- photographs,
- payment records,
- conversations,
- warranty documentation,
- and evidence currently being prepared for forensic dental expert evaluation in Spain.

There are also additional affected patients organising legal action regarding similar complications linked to this clinic.

My recommendation to any international patient:

- demand complete medical documentation,
- request full identification of all treating professionals,
- request official fiscal invoices,
- and obtain independent medical opinions before accepting extensive irreversible dental work abroad.

This review reflects my personal experience and the documentation currently in my possession.

WARNING! SCAM & MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE / DİKKAT! SİSTEMATİK MAĞDURİYET
I highly DO NOT recommend Laviva Dental Clinic. This is a dangerous place designed to extort money from foreign patients and then abandon them with severe health damage.

My experience with them was an absolute nightmare:

1. Financial Extortion: They lure people in with "All-inclusive" package promises, but right before the treatment starts, they demand unexpected extra money under the guise of a "card payment tax". If you pay in cash, they gaslight you, claiming that you "misunderstood" the total price or forgot some hidden costs. If you do not aggressively fight for your initial price with their manager Mustafa, they will force you to pay illegal extra fees that violate consumer protection laws.
2. Severe Medical Errors: My case required a deep, specialized approach, but they performed a completely superficial diagnosis. Also, Dr Vahit changed the technical execution of the work without my consent, completely ignoring what we had agreed upon during the consultation. Furthermore, there were absolutely no intermediate fittings; they rushed to do the final installation on my very last day before the flight. This negligent and unprofessional approach caused massive damage to my health. I now need complex reconstruction by high-level dental professors just to fix their terrible mistakes.
3. Ghosting and Ignoring: As soon as I raised legitimate concerns about the quality of their work, they started completely ignoring me. They refuse to answer my messages, provide no aftercare support, and deliberately refuse to reply to official legal complaints. This is how they handle "guarantees" — they just completely ghost the patient once they get the money.

Important for everyone to know:
I am NOT the only victim. I am in touch with a group of other international patients (from Denmark, Germany, etc.) who suffered from the exact same pattern. In their cases, as soon as things went wrong, the clinic, and specifically coordinator Dasha, ignored them, gave empty and inappropriate recommendations, and eventually blocked them on WhatsApp to avoid any responsibility.
Furthermore, their other managers use the exact same extortion tactics on patients, demanding ridiculous extra fees like €250 just for a simple transfer.
They are fully confident that foreign patients do not know their rights in a strange country and will not turn to higher Turkish authorities to protect themselves. This is exactly why they behave so insolently and unprincipled.

The clinic operates without any signboard and constantly relocates, changing addresses, which clearly reveals their bad-faith policy.

Stay away from Laviva if you value your health and money!

Bună ziua! Vreau să împărtășesc cu voi experiența mea cu clinica de Istambul ,,LaVIVA’”.Am fost aici pentru a-mi face un all of six ,după lungi căutări în internet,cerând prețuri la mai multe clinici și desigur bazându-mă foarte mult pe publicitate și stele.Am ales această clinică deoarece avea 5 stele în Trust pilot și Google ceea ce nu sint absolut convinsă ca nu e o înșelăciune,in fine,,cum am ajuns aici la orele 20 in aeroport,am așteptat enorm de mult pina a venit să mă ia la hotel la 23 am ajuns în camera ,a doua zi m-am prezentat la clinică și fără traductor,a vorbit cu traducătorul prin tabla ,doresc să specific ca eu nu am cunoscut în persoană pe Tihel ,persoana care am contactat prin Wassap ,mi-a schimbat oferta de preț cu motivul ca hotelul e mai departe de clinică a doua vizită și va trebui să îmi închirieze ei un apartament și trebuie să mai plătesc eu 200 de euro plus ,dar nu mi-au scăzut hotelul de 8 zile și transportul la clinica care era deja calculat ,eu în cazul asta trebuia să merg pe jos în plimbare 🤔,în timpul operației un coșmar ,mă operat alt doctor,nu doctorul de care eu vorbisem cu traductora Tihel ,pe motiv ca el nu e chirurg,,,Anestezia lor nu și-a făcut efectul,țin sa precizez ca eu nu consum nici un medicament și o anestezie la mine mă ține amorțită o zi in cazul în care îmi scot o măsea ,aici am simțit tot,nu vă pot spune ca îmi bubuia capul de durere și nu puteam zice nimic ,ca parca îmi amotise gâtul nu gingia,și de altfel nu puteam zice la nimeni pentru ca nu aveam traductor,asistenta care trebuia sa îmi aspire singele din gură vorbea cu doctorul și mă înecam cu propia salivă și singe ,aparatele lor curentau ,mă curentat de 2 ori ,cind am vrut sa mă scol de pe scaunul de operație a țipat la mine zicind într-o engleză prosta sa las mâinile jos,vreau să vă mărturisesc ca mi s-a făcut frică pentru ca din nefericire venisem singură,trebuia să îndur durerea și să tac ,după aproximativ 3 ore de chin mi-a zis finish ,,,,credeam ca nu-i adevărat pentru ca ma gândeam ca nu am sa pot rezista la atâta durere,😣 Cind a venit o alta asistenta sa imi ia măsură pentru proteză eu aveam pansamentul in gură pentru a absorbi sângele ea vreau să vă zic ca nu și-a dat seama și nici nu s-a uitat in gura ,măsura pentru proteza temporală e foarte mare din cauza pansamientului cu singe ,deci eu numesc lipsa de profesionalism,nerespect pentru persoana în operație ,vorbind între ei toată durata operației în turcă,neținând cont ca pe scaunul de operație e un client.La plecare nu mi-a dat nici un pansament să îmi pun în gură și o mască pentru ca aveam hemoragie ,absolut nimic.Mi-am scos șervețele mele și mi le-am băgat în gură ca să pot ajunge la hotel ,în mașină mi s-au umplut șervețele de sânge și îmi curgea pe bluză făcându-mi bluză de albă ,roșie,Am intrat în hotel plină de sânge și fata desfigurată parcă ieșisem din un abator,acum nu mai vreau să îmi pun dinții cu ei și le cer piloții pentru implanturi ca le-am plătit ,vreau să spun ca prima plată a fost 3800 de euro și a doua parte era de 4200 de euro,deci să nu credeți ca am ales o clinică ieftină pentru ca a fost pintre cele mai scumpe pentru ca nu vroiam sa risc la o clinică ieftină pentru ca se spune ca ai ceea ce plătești,și la mine a fost exact invers ,scump ,rău și foarte mare durere,,,,Cum vă spuneam ca s-ar de la un subiect la altul mi-am găsit o clinică bună care pentru același bani îmi poate face dinții și ei nu vor să îmi trimită piloții la cealaltă clinică ,nu raspunde la mesaje,traducătoarea mi-a zis astăzi ca trebuia să mă blocheze dar nu mă blocat pentru faptul ca îmi cer cei al meu.Cealaltă clinică a trimis pe cineva în Istambul și nici nu-i răspunde la mesaje ,zice ca Clinică s-a schimbat de adresă ,nici nu mai este unde eu știam ,,,in concluzie ,o altă clinică mi-a zis după ce le-am trimis radiografia cu implanturi ca sint puse spre buze ,nu în mijloc și va fi complicat să îmi iasă dinții bine ,am consumat 3 cutii de antibiotice pentru ca mi s-a infectat implanturile de l‐a șervețele din gură și nu am nici piloții pentru implanturi să poată altă clinică să mi le pună ,e un cost aparte,așa ca cine vrea să treacă prin ce am trecut eu sa meargă LAVIVA clinic Istambul 🥲

Проходила лечение в клинике Лавива в октябре 2025 года, после этого возникло много проблем, также сломалась конструкция ортопедическая которая была поставлена неправильно, клиника на связь не выходит, координатор Даша игнорирует мои сообщения, клиника не предоставляет договора и фискальные чеки, уходят от ответственности, несмотря на гарантию, которую они дают.В ближайшее время , также не решат вопрос и не выйдут на связь, будут поданы документы в Министерство Здравоохранения, ассоциацию стоматологов и надзорные органы. Клиника безответственная.не соблюдает принципы работы с пациентами, так же нет никакой организации работы, один доктор Vahit Kathuda на всю клинику, и то который не выходит на связь. Повелась на хорошую рекламу. Будьте осторожны!

Приём организовали отличный.Было два визита. 13 имплантов и 24 цирконивые коронки. Врачи на высшем уровне. Большие профессионалы своего дела! Вернули мне улыбку! Всё очень понравилось. Огромная Вам благодарность ЛАВИВА💕! Я очень доволен!

Francamente mi experiencia ha sido maravillosa con todo el equipo. Tihel con una paciencia maravillosa y pendiente de nosotras. Mustafá nos ha enamorado con su dulzura y su trato en la clínica y el equipo entero ha sido de 10. Nuestras bocas no han podido quedar más naturales y bonitas. Today was supposed to be the final day of my treatment and the placement of my crowns. However, by this point I developed an acute inflammatory condition (dental abscess / gum infection).

For three days, I repeatedly informed the doctors about severe pain and asked for proper treatment because I felt that inflammation was developing. I could not sleep at night due to the pain. Despite my complaints, I was told that this was a “normal reaction” and that there was nothing to worry about. I have all photos and written communication saved as evidence.

As a result, the inflammation worsened and developed into an abscess exactly on the final day of treatment, when I am scheduled to travel back home tomorrow.

I consider it unacceptable to ignore a patient’s complaints and allow the situation to escalate to an acute infection right before crown placement.

I request that the clinic’s management and director personally review this case and provide an official response.

If this issue is not properly resolved, I will be forced to contact the relevant health authorities and regulatory bodies.

People, please be careful when choosing this clinic.

My experience with Lavivaclinic has been very good. At first I was a little scared, but everything turned out well. They are very professional and make you feel very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and nice people.

Después de meses buscando una clínica en Estambul para poder solucionar los problemas de mi dentadura , llegué a contactar con La viva clinic , y vaya que no me equivoqué , mirando en CV del Doctor Vahim fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar , desde la comunicación con Tihel la asesora que es una persona honesta y clara , hasta las enfermeras y la señora de la limpieza un trato increíble 🙌 un equipo que hace que te sientas en casa , y Mustafa con un corazón y motivación alucinante desde que llegué al aeropuerto me recogieron el hotel increíble y con la traductora pude sentirme segura entendiendo todo lo que por experiencia y profesionalidad decía el Doctor y me puse en sus manos sin pensar 🙏 unas manos mágicas no sentí dolor los implantes con la marca que me dijo y me dio mi pasaporte ! Pasó los meses y ahora tengo una sonrisa Preciosa !! Desde el primer momento hasta el último minuto te tratan genial. Están pendientes de ti y de tu evolución , con la persona que he tratado en español el señor Toni,es una persona excelente en cualquier momento del día está a tu disposición,y el equipo de Lavivaclinic es excelente. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda, tanto que mi mujer se hará el diseño de sonrisa con ellos por el trato y el trabajo excelente que hicieron conmigo!

Acabo de completar mi tratamiento dental en LaViva Clinic en Estambul y estoy más que satisfecho con los resultados. Me hicieron implantes dentales y luego me colocaron coronas de zirconio todo salió perfecto.

El Dr. Wahid es un dentista excelente, muy profesional y con mucha experiencia. Me hizo sentir seguro en cada paso del proceso.

También quiero agradecer profundamente a Nur, el asesor médico, por su apoyo constante. Me ayudó con todas mis dudas y organizó todo: traslados, hotel, y las citas médicas. ¡Un servicio de primera!
