I would give zero starts if I could- not a genuine business
I would give zero starts if I could. I ordered outdoor lights from Lattea Global, but my licensed electrician refused to install them because of compliance concerns.
For around a month, I went back and forth with Lattea and PayPal trying to resolve the issue. My main concern was repeatedly raised, but Lattea never properly addressed or acknowledged it. Instead, I was repeatedly given responses that did not answer my questions and was told I would need to pay to return the products overseas, despite offering to return them to the Sydney location they had been dispatched from.
One of the most concerning parts of the correspondence was receiving a message in Portuguese that appeared to contain internal/AI-generated instructions about how to respond to me, including wording about not acknowledging fault. Whatever the explanation for that message, receiving it during an already difficult dispute seriously undermined my confidence in how my complaint was being handled.
I eventually received a refund of the purchase price through the PayPal dispute process, not through a straightforward resolution with Lattea, and I was still left out of pocket for return postage.
My experience was an exhausting month of emails, repeated questions that were not answered, and having to involve PayPal to get the purchase price back. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing electrical products from this company to carefully check Australian compliance requirements, the returns process and who is responsible for international return costs before purchasing. My advice based on my experience is simple: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If something goes wrong, be prepared for unanswered questions, overseas returns and a lengthy dispute process. I would never purchase from Lattea Global again.
