En cuanto al olor, puede ocurrir que un bolso nuevo conserve temporalmente un aroma relacionado con el proceso de fabricación o el embalaje. Este suele desaparecer tras unos días de ventilación. Entendemos perfectamente que pueda resultar molesto al recibirlo.
Respecto al cierre, el modelo Moira ha sido diseñado intencionadamente para poder llevarse tanto abierto como cerrado, ofreciendo una silueta más flexible y contemporánea. Su estructura permite esa versatilidad, que forma parte de su concepto estético. I ordered the Moira bag, which is beautiful and of exceptional quality, but when I received it I found it was bigger than I thought it was. I contacted customer service to ask about returning it, and I received a response within several hours, which I didn't expect. They offered me a couple of options but in the end I kept the bag, partly because it is beautiful but the excellent customer service I received tipped the scale for me. L'Atelier de Malte has earned a new customer!

No response to return request
I have been trying to contact them both by email, the form on their website, their instagram (which looks fake) and have received no reply.
The fact that they don’t have an easy return policy on their website tells you all you need to know. I wanted to return this as soon as I opened it. Poor quality of the bag, with handle in a weird spot, and only one compartment has a closing mechanism so the other is just hanging open? It also smelled so much like plastic when I opened it I nearly gagged. They make it hard to return the bag because they know the product is shit.

Regarding the product itself, we would like to clarify a few points. The bag’s design including its compartment structure is intentional and clearly visible on our product pages. As for the initial smell you mentioned, this can occasionally occur with new items due to packaging and transport conditions and usually dissipates after the bag is aired out.

Fake Fake Fake bag and dishonest trader
I concur absolutely with the negative reviews. I only wish I had read the reviews before being taken by their promotional pictures.
The moral of this story is NEVER buy anything before checking the reviews.
I received the awful, poor quality fake bag yesterday, so immediately requested for a refund (by email) as soon I opened the package.
I received a response from ‘Julie’ this morning stating that she hasn’t received any emails before (my first) and offered me either 100% store credit or 30% refund.
Why are these Chinese traders so dishonest?

Sent me a man made chemical smelling bag not what was advertised on their fake website was shipped from China even though their website is in French the photos on their website are not what you get the bag was advertised as genuine leather, bag has not a stitch of leather on it. Stay away from this company I was drawn in by the advertising of a genuine leather green suede beautiful bag that is not what a received I reported them as a scam website to my credit card company hope they can contact them but they never responded to me I would be surprised if they responded to them
your response is crap if you looked at my photos I submitted and compare them to your website the bag is not the same, also the bag is manmade from CHINA the tracking on the package is from CHINA nothing French about it this COMAPNY is a total scam!
