Very helpful, always replied to my emails and queries, even on weekends.

We recently used Lambert Pugh as conveyancers for a first time purchase. My initial dealings with LP were through the email quote that they issued relating to my purchase. This quote was clear (both in terms of in scope costs and was transparent in highlighting the potential additional costs that may arise during a property purchase.) This clarity gave a good level of confidence and allowed us to budget accordingly. An upfront payment was required with the remaining balance payable on completion. This payment was received and was referenced on future invoices.

Our case was assigned to Team 9 who were always contactable via email, always replying within 24 hours. For the majority of questions this was sufficient, and where a quicker reply was needed I was able to speak with an advisor. There is a 48 hour response time should you need to speak with a senior so I would advise any future customer to factor this in should they need the inputs of a senior for the complex elements of a case. Again this was acceptable and I was able to work around this process.

Throughout the process Team 9 acted with our best interests at heart and were willing to be firm and resolute with the seller solicitors to ensure that all elements were covered to protect us a buyers. This was much appreciated and again gave me confidence that the team were knowledgeable and that I could trust them to deal with the multitude of legal considerations that are needed as part of a property purchase. Despite the complex setting, email updates were provided in straightforward terms which was helpful for people such as us from a non legal background. Any suggested next steps and actions were equally clear to follow.

The sale completion was also straight forward, with final costs clearly broken down. I was very pleased with the accuracy of the original quote. There were no hidden costs and the bill was as we expected it to be.

I was very impressed with the level of competence and value for money delivered by team 9 at LP. I would certainly use the team again in the future and would be happy to recommend them.

Susie Dove, Team 7 was my allocated Conveyancer/Case Handler and I 100% recommend her. I believe Susie went above and beyond to keep my chain in place and to get the sale over the line. Throughout the whole process, I was always kept up to date. Emails were answered in a timely manner and on the two occasions I felt the need to speak with Susie, she called me back within a couple of hours. I will use LP again and I will request Susie.

I think the technical skills (i.e. the conveyancing aspect) are very competent and I can’t criticise this aspect of the Lambert Pugh service. I also like the app which provides a useful dashboard that shows what is happening on your transaction. What I am very critical about is the poor communication standards. Virtually all of the time throughout my purchase (which unfortunately took 5½ mths to complete) I had to constantly chase for updates on what was happening. This usually took 2-3 days although sometimes more for me to get a response from Team 9. I found this very disappointing and frustrating because it’s a fairly basic skill to be able to communicate effectively in a timely manner. Aspen Harris of Team 9 doesn't even bother to use salutations or the client's name in email correspondence and her tone of voice in emails borders on being downright rude. Mind you none of the emails I received from Team 9 ever addressed me by my name.
It’s also a real shame that getting to speak to someone can be quite challenging. The 2nd rate levels of communication certainly influenced my overall impression of this firm. If I was having to use a law firm again anytime soon for the sale or purchase of residential property, this is not a firm that would be at the top of my list.

Team 9 from LambertPugh did a great job with our purchase which had more issues than we were used to. They were clear throughout and the use of their mobile app really helped make it easier and faster.

Wanted to use a "fully online" experience to administer the sales of my late mum's house. There was a lot of info that needed gathering scanning and uploading, and a significant questionnaire (all through the app). After that piece of work it was really low touch my side. LLP did a great job for us and completed the process within ~6-8 weeks. Would highly recommend and use myself again.

Highly recommend Lambert Pugh - used them for the sale of my property after finding them on a solicitor comparison search. They were located a couple of hours away from my property but this is irrelevant in todays world. Prices were very competitive but the service I received from the team and particularly Anita my Conveyancer/Case Handler was top notch. Anita was always available for calls and very quick to respond on email to my queries. Was very thorough and explained everything very simply to make the process as easy as possible for me. No problem giving them 5 stars, thank you!

The service received from Anita Williams has been excellent from the start of the sale process right up to completion. Correspondence has been constant explaining where the process is and what to expect or what is due next. Exchange and completion was on the same day and Anita contacted before 8am to explain what would happen during the day, also phoned once sale was completed. Was sceptical about using an online conveyancing service for the first time but it seems I had absolutely nothing to worry about.

Initial sign up was quick and after being assigned to Team 8 / Anita Williams, and sending off the initial document pack, the sale of my property was efficiently progressed.

Any enquiries I had were answered incredibly quickly - replies never seemed to take more than 30 minutes to get back to me, something I've never experienced before with traditional solictors.
