I really checked out a lot of breeders before buying my dog. Lakewood was the most knowledgeable. They let me visit many times to ask questions, visit my dog before going home with a fantastic package; and I rely on the phone in support they provide to help be with my challenges. I've read a few reviews on the internet that don't make sense and you can truly see the person is not in the right mindset. I recommend Lakewood Ranch doodles all the time. I now know many people who have had a great experience like I did. The silly opinions about what a breeder "should" or "shouldn't" do from keyboard warriors are laughable. Take it from someone who has fully checked out doodle breeders in Ontario. These guys are one of the best.
We adopted a 6-month Goldendoodle from Lakewood Ranch 3 weeks ago and our hearts have been full ever since! We wanted an older puppy and had a wonderful conversation before we drove out to the ranch to meet a few. Vanessa and team were very considerate with showing us puppies that would work with our busy family in Toronto. We were not rushed during our visits and every question was answered. As new dog owners, we felt very supported during the whole process. Since being at home with our pup, her lovely temperament has been on full display. She rarely barks, sleeps through the night in a crate, is very affectionate with everyone and playful and energetic with other dogs at our local dog park. We couldn’t be happier and are so grateful that our pup had 6 months with this wonderful breeder, which set her up for success with us!

Great experience getting our puppy from Lakewood Doodles!! I loved how thorough they were and found all of the education practices right on a great reminder as I haven’t had a puppy in 10 years! Vanessa was wonderful to deal with and answered my many questions. This is a breeder that is transparent and very engaged and knowledgeable. We appreciated so much Vanessa’s time, patience and understanding as my husband and I continued to process the loss of our dog and look towards a new pet. Having someone so kind to talk through this with us was really great. All other breeders we contacted did not want to talk to us unless we reserved a puppy w a $500 deposit. Our new dog from Lakewood Ranch Rusty is absolutely lovely, beautiful temperament and everything we’d want in a puppy — a true reflection of these awesome breeders. So very thankful for the whole process in adopting our new family pet.

Lakewood Ranch is a lovely spot. It's set up nicely to greet potential puppy families. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.
