Recently had a problem with a Lakes pivot door that had shattered. The door was nearly 20 years old. I got in touch with Alita Gregg their local representative in Scotland. I was asked to confirm some details (when it was purchased, who fitted it, size). After confirming these details a replacement pivot door was dispatched to my house within 3 days under their lifetime guarantee. The whole process was seamless and stress free. Big shout out to Lakes, Alita and the customer service team who made what could have been a difficult experience into a great customer centered experience. Lakes not only offer a lifetime guarantee on their products they live it. I would have no hesitation in recommending them both for their products but also their customer service.

I’ve been using a Lakes enclosure for over 16 fault free years. Contacted Lakes to get some replacement seals as the originals were discoloured. I was told that the originals were covered by a guarantee! I paid the P&P and the seals arrived within 48hrs.
The query was dealt with very efficiently & the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

Placed an order on Wednesday, delivery came on Friday. No issues up to now.

Called into Lakes today to collect replacement magnetic door seals and accessories for our shower cubicle. What a great company. The man I spoke to on the phone couldn't be more helpful and the man who gave us our parts was equally as helpful.

Lakes are seriously one of a few companies left in the UK with an exemplary customer service experience. Their commitment and communication with their customer is the highest of the high. It is so rewarding to deal with them on every level. From Stuart & Mark in Customer Services to fitter Alan visiting our property, nothing is too much effort or trouble. Alan always carries out his work with cheer, respect for our home, professionalism and takes great pride in his workmanship. They honoured their lifetime guarantee on our shower screen which we are so extremely appreciative of. A company who honours its word! Practically extinct, but not Lakes! I contacted Lakes hoping to buy spare wheels for my broken shower door. I was delighted to find they were covered by a lifetime guarantee. Katie at customer service was cheerful and efficient. Very pleased with the outcome.

The company is providing a free replacement part under guarantee even though our product is approximately 12 years old. They were easily accessible by phone and extremely helpful.

I’m have bought lakes cubicles over the last 20 years as I’m a plumber and fitted and have always recommended them. How things have changed. Bought a 900 8mm quad in September 2024. Fitted in last November. The magnetic seals were damaged. Ok not a problem ring customer care. This is where the problems started. Three times I have been promised replacements. Been liars too as first no record of me. Then they were send somewhere else. They did have my address. Spoke to a lady called Rachel in customer care. Seems nice. But still no replacements. I just want my customer job finished and perfect. Due to the customer care or lack of it. I don’t think I can buy another one. What a shame Thank you for your reply. The postcode is the same as it’s my home address. So not written down correctly. Plus last Wednesday you wrote the correct postcode. So one week later still no seals. So hopefully by Friday. Which is 2 weeks after first phone call. Here my address so you should not get it wrong.

Enclosed showers I have been told if you put water direct on the glass they can leak lol,
A £1000 not including shower tray, don’t waste your money
Useless company, first shower that I’ve had that leaks end of story, I’ve got money to buy another, but if it helps one person from having the same problem as me it’s worth it

Russ the engineer did a great job had a problem with my enclosure and swapped it as part of Lakes brilliant warranty, great customer service all round.

Received a very high quality product and, because I live locally to the warehouse, I was able to collect direct from there. Got almost to the end of the install and realised I had lost a screw. So I drove back to the warehouse and explained. They were super friendly and found a pack of the fixings I needed and gave them to me FOC.
Glad I spent a little extra as the quality and service is what you pay for. Thoroughly recommend.

From first phone call to replacement arriving everything was friendly, smooth and efficient. I phoned and spoke to Katy about a bath screen which had collapsed. She asked for images, which I sent. Almost immediately she authorised a replacement for delivery two days later. A very nice driver found us in the middle of nowhere after various diversions due to floods. Lakes really makes me realise why we should always try to deal with family companies who really care. Thanks to Katy, our lovely delivery man and the whole team. Peter and Rhona

This was the second time we had to change the shower enclosure but the Company agreed to do so with an upgraded version without any problems

Excellent customer service, we required replacement seals to revamp our shower’s they answered their email promptly and I had the parts within a few days both showers look as good as new would not hesitate to buy their showers again

Good customer service, shower enclosure was fitted incorrectly was wobbly, their technician came and fixed it.

I phoned to request replacement wheels for the top of a sliding shower door.
Delivery was the day after my phone call - 5/5.

The contents of the parcel exceeded expectations, and I am glad they did. It looks and functions much better with new wheels at the top and bottom. Until I wanted to remove the door for cleaning, I hadn't noticed the wheels had been installed incorrectly by the original installer - nothing to do with Lakes.
For your patience and service during my call - 6/5! Unfortunately, Trustpilot doesn't accept sixes.

The sales staff have good product knowledge, and Del. Service is reliable. Our Area Sales Manager Luke Clifton, is very pro-active. The after sales / customer srvice is one of the best I have experienced. Also, our local trades people love fitting Lakes.
