Child danger
We bought a day bed for my 3yr old last year. It came with a series of broken board and missing parts and it took nearly two months to get those replaced or shipped. Now, not even a year later, the bed is falling apart. Cracks, splits, and wear makes this bed a danger to use, even for my daughter who barely weighs 30lbs.
In contrast, we bought a nearly identical bed from another company the year prior. It is still in quality condition and has endured far more use and wear by my older daughter.
When contacting the company, they argue the point, dismiss the danger, and outright refuse to own up to their product. In one instance, they directed us to the supplier, who told us they don't deal with the general public, only the sellers. We've gotten nowhere with this problem.
If anyone else has encountered this as well, I suggest submitting a report with the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

I really don’t like bashing on a company or giving them bad review because, I have a company of my own and I know how a bad review does to one. I purchased a very expensive bedroom set from this website and I honestly got a pretty good deal on it. I received my product last week and what I got and what I thought I was going to get were 2 different things. I contacted them to get a full refund and a return but they are trying to hold 25% of the products worth and I have to pay for shipping that’s about $1500 that I am throwing away for something that is not in my control. I have been trying to get help from this company for couple of days now and no luck. No phone calls are being answered and no emails are being replied.

Before you buy anything from them . you should check out their return policy. I bought 8 bar chairs but wrong size high You need pay 25% restocking fee $544x25%=$136. Shipping charges $269 plus return shipping charge $269. So total amount is $136+$269+$269=$674. We will refund you $139=$813-$674. Their policy mean you paid triple shipping Fk off no return .

OK first off this is 100% a real review and after reading the horrid reviews below I was completely terrified because I placed my order before thinking to read reviews. My order arrived today and I must say I am 100% thrilled with it. I bought a Bedroom Furniture set from Living Spaces 5 years ago and I was looking for the matching Chest of Drawers. Living Spaces no longer sold them but I found them online at Flat Fair. I placed the order last Monday 01/29/2018. After finding the real bad reviews I became very proactive to ensure my order would go without a hitch. I immediately emailed the company @ support @ flatfair.com and I received a reply the next day from a "David S". I had to provide them with a copy of a utility bill as my shipping address was different than my billing address. This was easy as they allowed me to email a screen shot which I did as well as copied a PDF of the bill. You need patience with this company they will not reply to you immediately, like we have grown accustomed to, but they will reply. "David S" confirmed my information on 02/02/2018 and said it could take up to 12 days for the item to arrive at their warehouse and I would be contacted by the delivery company to arrange for delivery. I was ready to wait for the long haul but I was relieved that I at least wasn't being scammed. Yesterday 02/06 I received a phone call from a less than perfect English speaking gentleman. He stated he would be delivering my furniture tomorrow and wanted to confirm my address. I gave him detailed instructions on how to get to my home and he stated he would text me the next day before he arrived. I woke up this morning and I texted him first and I gave him a screen-shot map off imaps showing exactly where I was in relation to the nearest highway. He replied stating he would be there at 9:30AM. At 9:19AM my doorbell rang. He allowed me to inspect the item and I signed the delivery slip. I love the Chest of Drawers!! Exactly what I wanted! And matches my set perfectly! My advice to anyone wanting to order with FLATFAIR is be patient and be proactive. They are not Wal-mart and they might not even be American based. But if you are proactive and patient with them everything will go without a hitch. From Ordering to Delivery it took 9 Days. I live in Corona, CA

Never Again!!! I cant believe this Co. is allowed to stay in Business. purchased a bed for my granddaughter for Christmas . Have yet to received it and no call from customer service after several attempts.
will have to resort to legal action if they don't contact me soon. unbelievable!!! that these Companies can stay in Business.

They needed verification because the billing and shipping address were different since I ordered it for my grandchildren. Sent the verification. Still heard nothing. I contacted them they said the bed would be there end of the week. The bed never came. So my daughter contacted them and they said they never got the verification. Im so livid that the customer service is the worst I ever dealt with. If they charged my card im going after them for fraud. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere

On November 26 ,2017 I purchased a bed for my daughter. And after 4 weeks,the bed came.It was damaged from the delivery truck.I send the document and picture to flatfair support on the same day I got the bed.In the month I am waiting for the replacement part but it hasn't come. I tried calling them and email to them alot of time but,they said to wait and they are working on tour query. It seem like they don;t want to send the replacement part. , they cheating customer

Worst on line company I have ever dealt with. Just got off phone from customer support, you can tell it is out sourced to a foreign country. The rep's English was so bad I had to repeat myself too many times and still he got it wrong most of the time. I chatted with an on-line rep before ordering the product and was told it was in stock. After I ordered the product I waited and no receipt or acknowledgement was sent. I called numerous times before today and received notice they weren't open. I hate being lied to and worst I hate being told I have to send a note to them requesting cancellation and refund of my hard earned money. Now I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me back from a country they out sourced to. It's going to be an uphill battle in getting my $244.99 back! Shame on me for dealing with companies that aren't American 100%

Horrendous! Will NEVER have my business again! I ordered a dresser for my daughter on December 26th. On December 28th, in light of many negative reviews I read AFTER the fact, I emailed requesting information about when the dresser might ship as well as tracking info, because I was in a hurry to receive it and if it wasn’t going to arrive in a timely manner, I wanted to cancel my order and get it from elsewhere. I did not receive a satisfactory response, so I requested cancellation for the first time on the 29th. I received an email from FlatFair that same day inquiring as to the reason for my cancellation. I sent an explanation. I did not receive a reply until he 30th, not with a confirmation of my cancellation, but an email telling me my item was being shipped out on Tuesday the 2nd, and If that was okay...and if not, that my order would be cancelled IMMEDIATELY and my refund processed IMMEDIATELY. I said I still wanted to cancel. I was sent an email by a representative that stated their manager would process my refund “later of tomorrow”. Tomorrow came and went. I received no confirmation of cancellation. SEVEN MORE EMAILS LATER, five of which I had no responses to, I got another email saying my item has shipped!!!
What???? I was livid. I CANCELLED MY ORDER DAYSSSS AGO!
By this point I have already opened a PayPal dispute and hope to now have this quickly resolved but I suspect the company might try to impose a 25% “restocking fee” that I found out about AFTER THE FACT which is ridiculous by the way. But they won’t get it from me if I have to take them to civil court over it, because I requested this cancellation WAY before this item ever shipped and have over 10 emails back and forth to prove it and if they had just done as I had asked immediately instead of fiddle farting around for a week, this would all be over with and I could’ve already bought my dresser from somewhere else and had it set up!
Never again! I Will make sure everyone I know is told how horrible this place is to buy from and how shoddy their customer service is.

I call the shipper, set up delivery appointment for December 4th 8am-12pm (4 hours) delivery window. Another time window offered was 11am-3pm.
2017.12.04 I call the shipper 12:15PM. Our truck broke down. What time did it break down? 10am. No one bothered to inform me, and I called them... they didn't call me. I lost a working day at my job. Delivery rescheduled to December 6 (same 8am-12pm window).
2017.12.06 After waiting for the scheduled delivery window, I went to work 1pm (otherwise it would have been 2 working days lost). 3 missed calls around 2PM (2 from the driver, 1 from shipper's Deer Park, NY office).
2017.12.07 So what happened yesterday (2nd attempt)?!! Sorry, we had some hickups. Sorry, we don't work on weekends and/or holidays (I offered to schedule). Rescheduled to December 27 (my birthday... I was going to be home all day) 10am-4pm (6 hours delivery window).
2017.12.26 I call the shipper to confirm (next day; 3rd attempt) scheduled delivery date/time via tracking number. Everything is set on schedule for tomorrow.
2017.12.27 Delivery window was scheduled 10am-4pm (6 hours; 3rd attempt). I call 4:40pm. Where's my shipment (confirmed yesterday)?!! 6-7 minutes on hold (while they were contacting their truck driver)... they told the driver to do pickups (instead of deliveries?). Let's reschedule for tomorrow. I don't do "tomorrow"... you had 3 chances to deliver my item!! Do you live in a private house or a building? I live in a building. Can we leave it somewhere without a signature? Why... is my item damaged? It's a curbside delivery... you might as well keep it and say that you delivered it so we can call it fraud... and I'll take my losses on reversing the purchase transaction via PayPal. How about December 29 after 4pm? OK.
2017.12.29 4th attempt... scheduled for after 4pm (I work until 4pm; my commute is about 20 minutes by car). I get a call from a restricted number around 12pm, which I can't call back... the truck driver saying he has a delivery for me. What time was the delivery window scheduled for?!! After 4pm, correct? Yes, after 4pm. Are you at your house to accept delivery right now? No, I am not. I am at work, 6 miles away from my home/delivery location. Do you know why? Because it was scheduled for after 4pm. I get another call from the Deer Park, NY shipper's office around 2:20pm. The driver is done in Brooklyn (where I live). Your driver's schedule is irrelevant to my schedule... we agreed on after 4pm. I get another call at 3:10pm. Our driver has to go back to Nassau county (Deer Park, NY is about 45 miles by car from my location in Brooklyn, NY). Do you have a friend or a neighbor that we can leave your furniture with? No, I do not. Do you have people working in your shipping company that can deliver things on schedule?!! I was trying to stay civil and not to lose my temper on the phone. Who runs the logistics for your company?!! This is the 4th time. I don't know how your company survived since 1986 (CustomCo.com site... home page) with your DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME philosophy!! 4:15-4:20pm is the best I can do. I left work 3:30pm... losing 30 minutes of work time. Thinking that my furniture will go back again after having been so close to receiving it... I flew (drove) home to accept this delivery. I figured that after this 4th delivery attempt fails... I would have to tell FlatFair, along with their contracted shipper to just go f..k themselves, explaining to PayPal that I never got my merchandise for which I paid $514... and 4 unsuccessful attempts have been made to deliver my ordered item after 2 months of being patient to receive it. Truck driver came 4:15pm; I was ready and waiting by my building with my hand truck.
Total combined weight of 2 packages was about 130 lbs, so each box was going to be about 65 lbs, give or take 5 lbs due to size/weight difference between bigger futon couch piece box and chaise recliner box. The bigger box (futon couch piece) looked like it took quite a beating (I took many photos with my phone on the delivery truck because if I would accept it... I can't send it back after unboxing and discovering damage like broken parts and torn fabric). Bottom of the couch was torn, but I figured it was on the bottom. I was planning to take 1 package at a time because I only have 1 hand truck, but the delivery guy (God bless that great man... I'm pretty sure all of this is not his fault at all. He performed his function. It's the people that run logistics that really messed up here.) took the 2nd smaller package onto his back (about 65 lbs), while I rolled the bigger box on my hand truck into the lobby of my building. I signed without indicating damaged packaging, knowing the risk of discovering damage inside after unpackaging. The damage to the bottom of the couch piece fabric (top fabric on both pieces was fully intact and all clean luckily) was due to poor design of the parts placement that came with/inside the furniture (4 metal foot support stands with 8 screws). One of these metal foot stand pieces ripped through the carton box that was inside the bottom of couch piece of furniture (while the carton box itself where these parts were contained was fully intact and suffered no damage at all... being inside of the furniture secured behind a zippered bottom fabric)... this was the biggest ripped area, but again... it's on the bottom of the furniture. The size of the torn area around the bottom zipper where the parts box was kind of scared me because I thought the wood support parts inside the bottom of the furniture would be broken and that means you can't sit on the couch without falling through it to the floor... merely with only the fabric supporting your weight (in other words, as good as crap... might as well throw it away).
I figured I would unpack the bigger, most damaged box first... hoping that all top fabric would be intact/untorn and clean. Assembly was a little pain (using a skewdriver instead of a drill to secure/attach foot handles to the bottom of both furniture pieces), but that's OK. I am now enjoying my furniture, having planned to forget this horrible experience like a bad dream.
So, judge for yourself. The shipping company is FlatFair's contracted shipper, and delivery of the product is part of the service of the company from which you order it.
If they only value your money and not your time as you being their client, DO NOT give them your business and your hard earned money along with your valuable time.
I have never in my life have written a bad review, and can't think of anyone that would give anyone else 4 chances, but this had to be told. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a negative 250.
The furniture I received seems great (cheap design/construction, but that's OK. Money-wise you get what you pay for... it's simple, functionally practical, affordable, and hopefully durable).
When a company doesn't value the client's time... that's unacceptable.
I don't regret the time I spent to let you know about what I went through to get my order (got kind of used to sleeping on an inflatable bed in my studio apartment throughout this ordeal).

So far good ....In the process of exchanging / returning the shattered glass top.
Ordered a table & after waiting for a few days I contacted them. Got a reply soon that it was a back order & was given the options to cancel the order or wait. I chose to wait. as promised by them the order arrived. I was super impressed with the packing & the base is fine & is exactly shown in the picture. BUT the top glass is SHATTERED. Sent them an email with the pictures. They were good enough to reply that the attachment could not open so resend them the pictures.
Lets wait & watch what they do. My husband is a lawyer & I would have no problems to take any legal action if my issue is not solved in a professional manner.
Not to forget that the box arrived just fine & not a single dent was on the box. Again they have been good in replying to emails that's the reason I gave them 3 stars. Would update my review soon.

Cancellation.
I ordered a new bedroom set for my new house and it's still processing and it hasn't shipped yet so wanted to cancel my order before they shipped out and sent 10 emails and never reply back and always returned with your mail delivery failed. I am really upset that I can't reach their services. I called few times and not available. I really want to cancel my order. Anyone knows how to cancel the order ?
One more thing I made other order
For my son's bedroom and no tracking information or phone call the FeDEx guy just left the product out side of the door and rang the belle and left before I even checked the boxes. If I wasn't home are they just gonna leave it. I don't trust that and makes so nervous that I could loose my products.
