Technical System Error: Sent to Wrong Continent Despite Correct Billing

I am extremely disappointed with Kuose’s refusal to take responsibility for a clear technical glitch in their checkout system (Order #KSTW189480).

​Despite my account's Default Address and Billing Address being correctly set to Australia, their system incorrectly dispatched my order to Belgium. Most shockingly, the shipping label they generated includes my Australian (+61) phone number alongside a Belgian street address.

​A logically sound system should flag a country-code mismatch of this magnitude. Because of this error, the local courier in Belgium cannot contact me, making delivery impossible.
​Customer service has been unhelpful, suggesting I "arrange forwarding" from a country I do not live in. I am a PhD student in Australia and have no way to facilitate this. I have provided clear screenshots of my correct address settings, yet they continue to blame the payment provider rather than fixing their own data mismatch.

​Potential customers should be wary: if their system glitches, they will expect you to pay for it. I am now forced to pursue a bank chargeback.

High international return shipping

Kuose advertise easy returns and refunds, but the actual process is the opposite. The entire burden is placed on the customer.

Customers are required to pay high international return shipping fees and take full responsibility if the package is lost in transit, meaning you could lose both the shipping cost and the value of the goods.

KUOSE also do not provide return labels. Customers are required to arrange the entire return process themselves, including shipping, documentation, and all associated costs.

This is their return policy which is not listed anywhere on the website.

«««Please carefully review the following guidelines before sending out the package.

1、Due to the nature of cross-border shopping, any return shipping costs and taxes incurred for personal reasons must be borne by the buyer.

Before sending your return package, please consult with your logistics company regarding shipping fees to ensure they are within your acceptable range.
If the costs are not acceptable after your inquiry, we kindly suggest that you reconsider whether to proceed with the return request.

2、Please do not send the product back to the address stated on the package. That is not our return address.

3、There is no need to submit declaration documents when the parcel is sent out. We will help you to submit the declaration form when your return package arrives at China customs.

4、 In order to reduce customs fees and deliver the return package to the destination smoothly, please only write 1/3 of the price of the returned product when filling in the information when sending the return package.
In addition, it is recommended not to include more than 4 items in one return package.

5、We do not require or insist that you return the product in its original packaging. Based on the actual shipping conditions, we recommend using alternative packaging methods, as long as the product is protected from damage during the return process.

We would suggest you DON'T send your return package via other courier companies because if you send your return packages by other courier companies you will more likely to be charged customs duty fee and the cost will be higher.

Kindly send your return package to the following return address (China warehouse) through your LOCAL Post Office. The delivery fee is based on the charging standard of your local post office. The return shipping fee depends on your package’s weight, volume and shipping method. Buyers can consult your local post office to know the exact shipping charge. We are unable to know in advance whether the customs duty fee as well as tariff fee will be charged by custom or not, it can only be known after custom examining your return package. (Recent returns are subject to tax) So we are unable to provide specific figures for return shipping fee and custom duty charges. We seek your kind understanding on this.

Rude and unprofessional customer service, but great quality.

I ordered a jacket which costs a lot. With such price, I expect customer service to be good and professional. But, they were very rude and unprofessional. The packaging came damaged, but the inside were fine. Cute and personal packaging. Quality is very good too.

Just as I was writing this review, someone complimented my jacket 🤍

My favorite Korean fashion online shop!

Been shopping from Kuose for 2.5 years now. I've ordered 4 different clothing items (stylish vest and shirt + 2 cute sweaters). I was shocked by the high quality! They are thick and long lasting! I adore the clothing line they offer, I'm subscribed to their weekly newsletter to window shop in my own inbox! It is on the expensive side, so I limit my purchases to once in a while. They're great for getting cute Asian asymmetrical fashion pieces for your closet! (Especially if you're in the States!)

I’m very irritated that when the…

I’m very irritated that when the package apparently was delivered, I didn’t see it at the front of my door like the picture the carrier sent me. My package was most likely stolen, which I don’t know why the carrier would just leave it out in the open. I contacted kuose about it, and they said they are not responsible for any package missing. I spent $124 on a coat, my package was stolen, and I can’t even get my refund. I will never order from here again. Super unreliable carrier and company. Be mindful of your purchases through the site and keep track of your package daily.
