it is unbeliveble to me that company of this importance and this size has such a bed website. The navigation is very confusing, it will take you a long time to get where you want to go. And good luck if you want to change a payment method and charge to different credit card even if you check it as diffault card. They will always charge old card until you call to change the card you want to use. You would think they would hire IT employees that would satisfy your need but that is not the case. I guess they cannot afford them.

Recently had spinal surgery. There was no follow up, no phone call, email or inquiry if I was dead or alive, no instructions or prognosis. And, it took me about 3 months to get this appointment, meanwhile being in a lot of pain. Of course I'm leaving Kaiser, this is absolute neglect.

Unprecedented stupidity with online services

One day, creator of the online services of Kaiser will ended up in hell. And it will be twice hotter there for these people. Exclusively. Here me out:
- You set up an account
- Payment is ONLY by phone only!
- I want auto pay, how?
- Give me your card...
- You dictate the card number and stuff to operator.
- It works.
- A year by, if your card is expired and bank re-issued.
- THERE'S NO WAY TO UPDATE IT.EXE
- You log in...
- You find the billing section in the account. Opens...
- ITS A DIFFERENT WEBSITE.
- No login works.
- You need to call.
- THEY ARE SO LASY YOU NEED TO CALL THEM IN ORDER THEY TAKE MONEY FROM YOU.PNG

I will change this insurance and forget about this nightmare trash forever. Retarded people in charge. But before that, YOU will chase me for the payment YOU CAN'T LET ME GIVE YOU. What a nightmare shit show of a company.

I’ve been a Kaiser member for 4 years

I’ve been a Kaiser member for 4 years. I want to express how happy and satisfied with the care I receive from Dr. Ahmad. I also want to express how amazing and nice Patti in Membership Services department and Alice in Administration department, always has a smile on her face. Dr. Ambrose and Dr.Narmeen is also very caring and wonderful doctor at the Reston Kaiser Permanente center.

Idk what happened to Kaiser

Idk what happened to Kaiser . It’s horrible service. I made an appointment for my son over a month and the doctor canceled it. I had requested time off of work. I don’t have time . I have to work. That’s why I did it a month before and request time off from work.

The absolute worst health experience of…

The absolute worst health experience of my life. I was a lifelong Palo Alto Medical Foundation patient, and Kaiser cannot compete with PAMF as far as quality of care. PAMF always made sure to follow up with patients and I never felt I had to advocate for myself. However, with Kaiser…. I have to fight tooth and nail, through tears to get bare minimum care. They ride on the verge of negligence for neglecting patients needs especially in Obstetric care. I have never felt that an organization has cared less for me than how I feel about Kaiser. I have been absolutely disgusted by my treatment here. I wouldn’t wish Kaiser healthcare on anyone I know. Run far and fast away from this place!!!!

They keep surprising me with fewer…

They keep surprising me with fewer services while increasing copays and ending coverage of medicines they used to pay. Ten days to renew a prescription should not be normal .
I have been shopping for a new provider and will continue. Kaiser automatically gets my 2 payments every month, but more and more want to hide me for being a loyal customer.
Do not believe what they tell you in the junk mail or a public Medicare presentation.

After two and a half years with Kaiser, this has proven to be a scam for terrible healthcare. Go elsewhere.

I have been going to this location for health care now for maybe 2 ½ years or so. I just turned 65 in December and in hindsight, foolishly signed up for Medicare through Kaiser. I sincerely regret that decision and will be making a switch come October. The last 2 ½ years have easily been the WORST HEALTHCARE I have received in my entire lifetime.
I have heard the complaint many times of healthcare in America of DENY, DENY, DENY! But now I know how that came about. Had to be Kaiser?
This report is going to the Kaiser complaint desk…AGAIN? I had given a verbal phone complaint back in January and was told I would get a follow up phone interview but no…even the phone call was This one is in writing so it cannot get lost. I will also be copying and lodging a BBB Complaint with this letter as evidence. I will also be copying this doc to any Government Agency that might have interest in seeing the scam that is Kaiser Healthcare. I will also be copying this to any relevant health care review sources online that may reach people before they waste their money on Kaiser. It will also be copied to my lawyer.

Michelle Torres MD – She was the one Denier up until Mid April after I got rid of her. She is responsible for the bulk of the complaints.

Daniel Yuwan Teng MD – I had one meeting? Seemed to be an improvement but have already received a phlebotomy denial and crickets on a requested appointment he said he would set up with a referral. (I believe that the refusal to do any referrals to a specialist loses these doctors bonus money. San Mateo seems to be catering to the illegal immigrant trade, and damn those paying us every month for their health care!)

I have been a Kaiser Permanente member…

I have been a Kaiser Permanente member for nearly ten years, and unfortunately my experience has been consistently disappointing. It has been extremely difficult to receive coordinated care or to work with doctors who take a comprehensive approach to my concerns.

For several years, I have experienced significant leg pain. During this time, I have seen approximately twelve different specialists, including those in pain management and neurology. Despite repeatedly explaining my symptoms and requesting appropriate diagnostic testing—specifically an ultrasound to evaluate potential vascular issues—I have only been given various medications to “try,” without any meaningful investigation into the underlying cause.

This lack of follow‑through has left me frustrated and without answers. I am currently waiting for the next open enrollment period so I can transition to a different healthcare provider that offers more thorough and patient‑centered care.

I have been calling for over six months…

I have been calling for over six months trying to the get issues with Kaiser Permanente charging my account, after I've requested cancellation, resolved to no avail.
I've called multiple times asking when Kaiser Permanente would stop charging me for insurance services that I am NOT receiving. When I initially spoke with their representatives, I was told that they do not service in the state of Alabama. They told me that they could not send me medication since I was living in Alabama yet they are sending me medication to keep the insurance that I requested to be cancelled going. That is fraudulent business practices. They're claiming that they're backed up and it could take a while. A while isn't guaranteed. I cannot use Kaiser which is the entire purpose for requesting the cancellation to begin with. I've requested for it to be canceled several times by phone, mail, and electronic signature, and they still refuse to stop taking it out of my check. They have taken $2,512 from my check so far since I've requested the cancellation back in Novmeber 2025. Because Kaiser Permanente has been reducing my check, I have been enduring hardship. I haven't been able to purchase the home I applied for due to the lack of income Kaiser Permanente has caused. Every time I call trying to get this issue resolved it's always 30 days, 14 days, and excuse after excuse. It's been over 7 months now. Kaiser tried to tell me that OPM had to cancel the insurance, but OPM stated to me that Kaiser Permanente is the insurance company and they are the ones taking the funds out of my account. My last time speaking with OPM was today 06/02/2026.

Kaiser permanente

Kaiser permanente, lo peor como aseguranza de salud. Negligencia medica, toman deciciones de salud por los pacientes, si necesita un procedimiento lo niegan por falta de sintomas por anos, pides una reference y si no llenas los requisitos te lo niegan aunque tu tengas sintomas de salud y si quieres demandar puedes pero no a la corte regular. Ellos tienen su departmento de arbitraje y obvio quien gana es kaiser. Primero pones una quejan a kaiser y si te aceptaban la queja Al final *lo que dijiste en la queja es irrevelabte practicanente te mareaba un rato y luego lo cierran y de pilon te llaman y niegan hasta que hablaron Contigo *case manager, mienten descaradamente.
De ahi demanda pero El 90% de los casos SE pierden todos los recursos de abogados los tiene kaiser ..... Una verdadera Banda *
Mi experience personal SE basa en muchos puntos negativos, realmente doctores que no saben o desconocen los sintomas de una enfermedad ni haciendo muchos examenes por anos Dan un buen diagnostico o definitivamente ninguno .... Malpractice, negligence, lack of diagnosis, fail standard care. So sad 😢

Had horrible ER visit

Had horrible ER visit. Went there due to heart pain. Was ordered a x- ray. During the X-ray procedure, I experienced a serious violation of privacy and dignity. A male technician
instructed me to remove my bra and change into a gown, then left the room for the control area. No
private changing area was provided. While attempting to comply, I was half naked when the hallway door
unexpectedly opened. This caused significant distress while I was in a vulnerable medical condition. And for EKG,X-ray and blood work, without being seen by a doctor because I left after waiting for 7 hours, Kaiser charged insurance $7000 and insurance gave $4000 because Kaiser is out of network. For that quality of service, Kaiser has the gut to charge $7000

There's something seriously wrong with Kaiser health care

There's something seriously wrong with Kaiser when it comes to lengthy wait times for outpatient surgery appointments. I've had three minor surgical operations on my hands over the years, all basically the same thing. Carpel tunnel syndrome. The operation is basically 30-45 mins and go home immediately. My latest appointment was scheduled 10 weeks ahead. TEN WEEKS! I looked up the records for the previous surgeries and the schedule times were 4 weeks and 4 weeks. Even more frustrating is the pre-op visit. The first two took maybe 15-20 minutes, one with the surgeon and one with a PA. In both cases they spent time examining my finger, asking questions, explaining the surgical process and recovery. My last pre-op was by a PA and, this is NO exageration, she was in the examination room for not more than 5 minutes. Walked in, logged onto the computer, confirmed which finger (didn't ask to look at it), I asked one question which she took no more than 15 seconds to answer, said "what do you want, a cortisone shot or surgery?". I said surgery, she logged off the computer, said to expect a call for scheduling within two days, and left. This is not normal health care, this not a doctor visit and 10 weeks to schedule is almost criminal. What really angers me is that my finger has gotten progressivly more painful to the point that it can be agonizing and I still have three weeks to go.

Concerns About Patient Support and Follow-Up CareOver the past years

Over the past years, I have had ongoing frustrations with communication, follow-up, and responsiveness regarding my care at Kaiser. While some providers and staff have been professional and kind, I often felt that I had to repeatedly push, follow up, and advocate for concerns that should have been addressed more proactively.

One of the biggest concerns involved my request for micronutrient testing. I repeatedly asked my doctor over several messages to look deeper into possible deficiencies because I had been experiencing low energy, fatigue, brain fog, and not feeling well overall. I often felt my concerns and wishes were not being taken seriously enough or were being minimized. I wanted to better understand what was happening in my body, but it felt difficult to get these concerns fully acknowledged before the testing was finally done.

In the past, I was also prescribed medication commonly used for depression when I reported feeling tired and low energy. I later looked into the medication myself and chose not to take it because I did not feel comfortable starting that type of treatment without first understanding whether there could be underlying nutritional deficiencies or other causes contributing to my symptoms. I believe there should be more effort to investigate root causes instead of quickly moving toward medications that may carry additional side effects or long-term implications for some patients.

After the micronutrient tests were finally completed, I later discovered on my own — months afterward — that my vitamin B12 levels were low. I was never directly contacted about it, and the information had apparently been placed in an inbox section that I did not normally check and was separate from where I usually receive test results. During those months, I continued feeling unwell, fatigued, and lacking energy without realizing there was a documented deficiency.

Once I discovered the low B12 result myself, I contacted my doctor again and had to advocate for treatment, including vitamin B12 injections. I also felt I had to push repeatedly to receive more appropriate treatment frequency at the beginning while my levels improved. The process became emotionally exhausting and made me feel like I constantly had to argue to receive adequate support and follow-up care.

Even now, I still feel concerned that the focus has mainly been on treating the deficiency itself rather than helping determine why the deficiency happened in the first place. As a patient, I would like to better understand the root cause of ongoing deficiencies and symptoms instead of only managing the result.

I also recently experienced difficulty obtaining clear guidance regarding work documentation during a period of stress and illness. I understand there are limitations when a patient is not physically seen the same day, but the note I ultimately received was so limited that I ended up not using it because I felt it could potentially create more problems at work instead of helping clarify the situation. I believe clearer communication about documentation policies, telehealth options, and patient guidance would have been more helpful.

Overall, I believe Kaiser could improve communication, patient follow-up, responsiveness to ongoing symptoms, and support for patients dealing with fatigue, stress, burnout, or deficiencies that may significantly impact daily life. Patients should not feel like they have to repeatedly fight to be heard or fully understand their own medical results and treatment options.

Wait time for Appointments and getting…

Wait time for Appointments and getting a timely schuduled surgery date.
I wait at times up to 3 months to get appointments and worst of all waiting for a surgery date. I need a Prostate and Hydrocele surgery and I've been waiting four months and was told it's usually a six month waiting period and that's just to get a date who knows how far out the actual surgery will be once you finally get your schuduled surgery date. Getting very disappointed in Kaiser. At this point I can not recommend Kaiser. I've been with Kaiser for quite some and considering searching for a new medical facility.

Kaiser Permanente is the worst

Kaiser Permanente is the worst, doctors simply read reports of their colleagues and go along with the findings without thinking outside the box of treating my symptoms. I know what I’m experiencing yet it’s being annoyed. I strongly do not recommend this health insurance.
