I ordered my Kostume Cargo bibs after reading the review on Road.cc.

In my 5 years of road cycling, I have struggled to find the correct combination of bibs and saddle despite purchasing a variety of well-known mid and high-end brands. My search is over.

Everything about the bibs is premium. The materials and chamois are super-comfortable and the pockets are very secure. Short or long rides - no issues.

At first look, they are expensive but what price do you place on buying the wrong bibs and being uncomfortable in the saddle for hours??

Communication was good. I bought the wrong size, and my replacement larger size was with me by return of post! Impressive

Comfortable and nice looking shorts, however still need to use Chamois cream.
Deducted one star because they are very expensive.

Fantastic product, brilliantly made, comfortable for long days in the saddle and a great company to support. A company that makes premium products with ethics and sustainability at the forefront of its thinking.

Excellent quality product - very comfortable over 150 miles of riding in Kent during hot weather last week. The chamois is very plush & supportive. No soreness at all. Didn’t need to use the ‘comfort break’ function but did check it out. It is possible to pull the shorts down without taking the straps off your shoulders. The bib front is higher than on my other bibs (e.g. Assos) and it takes more effort to pull the front down to pass water. Still not sure if it will usurp current favourites but I will be trying the Kostunes on more longer rides in the near future

I tried a new set of comfort break bibs, Base Layer and jersey on two 100 miles rides this weekend... a risky strategy having not worn thus brand before! However I'm delighted to say the shorts were spot on: so comfy, like giving your bum a hug! Even in high temperatures I didn't get the usual heat rash from the leg grips and the chamious will definitely be good for much longer rides too. The "comfort break" feature worked brilliantly, massive bonus as a female saving getting undressed.

The base layer was perfect for the baking hot first day; so well ventilated and cooler than any of my other cycling tops.

The cargo jersey was perfect for the cooler ride back witha great fit- a lot of small ladies jerseys are made too long and once I figured out where all the pockets were great from stashing all sorts of food and bits and bobs!

Overall the attention to detail and quality of this brand is instantly evident and I an sure the durability of such high quality produces will be exceptionally too. It's great to have a brand focused on the practicalities of long distance riding rather than just focused on the aesthetics (although everything looks great too!)

First time for a long time that I had a 60k ride without any discomfort. Durability might be a concern especially for the straps which tend to twist (have not had this with any other bibs). Looking forward to trying them on longer rides. Feels good to support a Bristol based startup with such a strong sustainability focus.

Yep, these knicks are just exceptional. Made from premium fabric with a chamois that's next-level comfortable they are the best I've ever worn. Do yourself a favour...and buy a pair.

Great product, great quality and super comfy on long rides. That’s it . Clearly Ed and his people are ver passionate about what they do - slow quality textile production not mass market volume - that’s the future. Well done !

A very high quality product made to high social and environmental standards.

The title says it all….

Size M is on the big end of an M, really on the edge of being to large
Knee warmers in size M are even bigger than the bib shorts M, I suppose knee warmers would far better fit me (usually size M with Castelli, Assos, Q36.5) in size S.
Far too long delivery time

Fabric, pad, straps and overall design/shape and fitting of the bib shorts is great. This is about the sizing, not the shorts/knee warmers themselves. They’re great.

These are truly awesome bib shorts. They feel incredibly soft to the skin, look great and the straps are a nice detail (yes, they're inside out, intentional - quite witty). These bibs will suit your taste if you like them a little longer, as I think most people do these days. You should, anyway. Looks stylish. The pad is simply the best I've had so far, comfortable even after hours in the saddle, both on and off road.

I'll probably end up with several of these, they're really that much better than the others I own (yes, premium brands).

Only downside was the wait... This was my first order with Kostume and it so happens the supplier had a bit of a delay, mostly due to a new process.

Only used it twice so far - one short 50-mile test ride, and then a 200-mile Audax trip. So far, they're excellent. Just putting them on gives a feeling of comfort & quality like no other. I did find that the pad needs to be in exactly the right spot - 80 miles into the second ride I was in a bit of discomfort, with numbness, and rearranged things somewhat and the difference was immense: no issues up to the end of the day. I suffer quite badly from saddle sores, but nothing on this ride. Let's hope that continues.

Great cycling bib shorts. The bibs fit great, feel fantastic, and make me feel like riding more and faster. Well worth the wait.
